So this thread is about what you're going to be for Halloween and DIY tips for costumes, face painting, etc.
I'm going to be a pokemon this year and my friend will be a pokemon ball! I think it would be cool to be poochyena! But it would be WAYYYY too hard so I'm thinking an evee evolution or pikachu!
So...what are you waiting for? POST!

ok, i have decided on a costume. i am going to be a vampire assassin. it should be really cool. instead of those tacky full mouth vampire fangs we got these special ones that are just 2 teeth that you glue on. i will post a drawing if i get around to it.

I'd like to convince my family to work on a Legend of Zelda theme--Skyward Sword most likely--because we've done Tolkienian-based themes a good deal already. I think I could go as Fi in a pinch-- I certainly do enough lecturing and explaining in real life... ;D
And-- nice costume choice, Autumn Leaves. I'd wear a belt with your flowing shirt and leggings-- to complete the look.

I haven't beat it either, actually- I prefer to pester my brother until he does it, and then watch him and give him advice-- so he has a real-life Fi right there next to him ;D

I forgot one important element of my Hermione costume- the wand. I was thinking that I would whittle one- (big dreams, Leafpool, big dreams!)-but I realized that wasn't going to happen. Instead, I'm going to use a purple or yellow glowstick. My dad has a ton of them!-which is great for Halloween.
It's not very elaborate, but hey, what can you do? My mom isn't even letting me and my brother talk about Halloween in front of her until the 15th (XP), because she...well, I don't know why, exactly, but she thinks that the costumes don't even matter and it's "In the dark, so no one will see anyway", and all we should do is just go out and get the candy and come back (so much for the spirit of Halloween! At least my dad likes Halloween). I'm probably exaggerating, though....
Anyway, back the the subject...next year I'm going to try having a slightly more complicated costume, with makeup and all...maybe Rey, because she would take some effort to do.
If I'm correct, (I certainly hope so, it would be disgraceful if I wasn't) only 23 days until Halloween! And that means...dun dun dun... 25 till my birthday! It's on the 2nd of November and I'm going to make a thread, which I can't wait for.

Ooh, your birthday is the Day of the Dead! And yes, you are correct, it's 23 days until Halloween. You're also right about the costumes being a lot of it.

I'm being Rey!! And I've found a TON of DIY stuff for her costume. I'm making it all from scratch, because really, her outfit is just a bunch of cloth draped over the body in different lengths, colors, sizes, etc.
The DIY goggles I found look SOOO much like hers!!! *squeals* SO EXCITED!!!!!

I'm going as Princess Leia from ESB. Her Hoth outfit. I've got a white shirt which will have to do, though it's no where near perfect, and a quilted vest. All I need now is a pair of white skinny jeans, my blaster and rank insignia, and a DIY for the hair. I'm really excited, cause Leia in that movie is boss. Oh! My Captcha said tome! A real word! And a bookish one at that! I'm so proud!

That would be awesome! *Sighs* I have like one nerdy friend outside of the CB, and she's a different kind of nerd. You SHOULD totally go as Rey though. She is awesome in TFA.

I really want to be The Phantom of the Opera but im not shure bif my mom wants me to him So i might go as a hobbit! I dont have anogh money for the spider man outfit X( But if i am going to be the phantom it will all be DIY and all I need is a cape, face paint for the mask, black clothes. And I have all of them! TTFN!

I'm not quite sure what I want to be for Halloween (I know, I'm quite the procrastinator) but I'm thinking about either one of the sisters from Kubo and the Two Strings (Has anyone seen it?) or a Shadowhunter!
