Okay, here's my
Chatterbox: Blab About Books
Book Quotes!
Okay, here's my...
Okay, here's my first book quote:
"Only two hours," she sighed. "That will be half past one; Mother will be at Cousin Ann's, the children at home will have had their dinner, and Hannah cleared all away. I have some lunch, because Mother said it would be a bad beginning to get to the brick house hungry and have Aunt Mirandy have to get me something to eat the first thing.-It's a good growing day, isn't it?"
First one to guess the book gets to post the next quote! Good luck! If no one guesses it by the 20th, I'll post another quote.

You got it! Your turn, Lizzy!

Unfortunately I couldn't get the quote I wanted since I don't actually
own the book and I don't know the exact quote so this one will have to
suffice.
"We will have to work on your bunny phobia later."

Tough one... oh, wait, I know this! Wait, maybe I'm thinking of a t.v. show, but I think the scene begins when there's a rustling in the bushes and someone's scared and then a rabbit runs out. Still don't know the name of the book, though.

Yeah, what you're describing was in Tangled, i think, but it's not where the quote's from.

Doesn't anyone have any guesses? If you don't then do you want me to put another quote from the book.
(August 8, 2011 - 8:29 pm)
Okay I am just going to take no answer as a yes. Here is another quote from the same book:
"It was beautiful in a harsh I'm-going-to-gut-you-like-a-fish kind of way." And it's referring to an object.

The first quote was from Percy Jackson, but I can't remember which one. It's Percy talking to Grover.
The second one is Percy talking about Kronos's scythe, so it has to be The Last Olympian because Kronos only woke up at the end of Battle of the Labrynith. I think that they're on the Princess Andromeda. Or... is it talking about the Minotar's weapon? But I might be confusing it with the scythe.
Anyway, my guess is the Last Olympian

I am really really sorry I didn't reply sooner. I was out of town until Wednesday night. You were right SC, both quotes are from The Last Olympian. Your turn.

Ladies and Gentlemen, though mostly boys and girls, WE HAVE A WINNER.
YOUR MAGNIFCENT PRIZE IS... you get to post the next quote.
I just read the HGTTG for the first time. SO FUNNY!!!
(September 5, 2011 - 11:27 am)
I know, HGTTG is hilarious! I just saw the movie last night... pretty innacurate, but okay on the whole. Anyway, here's my quote:
"On the one side: I renounce the chocolate, stay healthy and trim, and put an end to this reckless tale-telling. On the other side: I climb up the ladder, feast on chocolate, and then, full of sugar and guilt, I continue my story, knowing that I'm possibly sentencing you to a fate worse than death. Actually, put like that, the choice is pretty easy. I'll be right back."
Not a super amazing book. Definitely a super hilarious chapter. :)

I know what the name of the book is, but I refuse to tell for my safety and security. ;););)
(September 7, 2011 - 3:29 pm)
I think you got it right, then. ;)
