Simple enough rules: Post a quote from any book (no movies, please) and the rest of us will try to guess it. The first person to get it right (and the person who put up the quote has to confirm this) gets to post another quote. If everybody gives up, then the person who posted the quote may tell where it's from. Also, let's not do Harry Potter quotes -- they're really easy for most people here to guess.

Then maybe we should skip ZNZ's quote, seeing as no one is around to tell us what it's actually from.

*is here* Since you're skipping mine, I'll just say where it was from: the Ranger's Apprentice books, which I am shocked that no one has read. I believe it's in the third one.
@Ally: Since mine was the last one, I won't guess yours, but I'll just say that I love that quote, and I posted it fairly recently on a guess-the-quote game over on the NaNo forums. XD
