Name: Rose Weasley

Age/Year: 11/1
House: Not Yet Sorted
Looks: Red hair like her father's, but it's bushy like her mother's. Brown eyes. 
Personality: Smart as her mother, and extremely competitive. Kind of shy. Likes to read. She's very close to her cousin Albus (Not so much to Lily and James because of the age difference.). 
Family: Um ... I think we know this one. ;)  
Electives: N/A

Albus and I walk onto the train together. The two of us have always been friends. We're the same age, and cousins. Besides, we see each other really often since our parents are best friends. 
We make it through the crowd and duck into an empty compartment. It takes us a while to find one -- most already have people in them. We get lots of stares and funny looks while we're trying to find one. Albus looks a lot like his dad, the famous Harry Potter. It's kind of weird to have an uncle as famous as he is -- I can't imagine what it must be like for Albus to have him as his dad. 
But eventually we find one and sit down. 
"So," I say to Albus, "how've you been?"
"I'm fine," he says. Then he smiles. "It's only been -- what, a week since we saw each other? When we were at Diagon Alley to get school supplies?"
"Yeah," I admit. "You're right."
"And you've probably already read all your schoolbooks."
"So what if I have?" I say with a grin. "But I'm still really nervous about school."
"So am I," he says quietly. "I hope I get sorted into Gryffindor."
"Yeah. I'm scared about the Sorting." 
He doesn't answer, but I know he understands what I mean. We sit there in silence, each lost in our own thoughts.

I make sure to get into the compartment across from James Potter. I don't really like him, but he's good at quiddich, and he's always talking about it. I'm always hoping to pick up tips, as I hope to become keeper. My friends, Liric, and Ebony Taurak, (non- identical twins, both in Griffindor) are telling me about their exciting holiday, and offering to sell me a 132 year old chocolot frog card of a young Albus Dumbledore.

"He hadn't even discovered the twelve uses of dragons blood yet!" said Liric, elated.

"Hmm" I agreed, hardly knowing what I was agreeing too. Potter had started talking about the Quiddich World cup and I knew How to make extendable ears invisible.

Ailyn glanced up at the people in her compartment.  Two girls.  They were too busy talking about a card, but Ailyn couldn'tn help butting in.  She scooped up her gray tabby cat, Feather, and stood up.  She walked over to the girls and spoke up happily.  "Hello, I'm Ailyn!  Nice to meet you!"

Name: Alia Byston

 

Age/Year: 13/3rd year

 

House: Ravenclaw

 

Description: Tall, thin, with long reddish hair that is always tied back in a ponytail. Her right eye is blue and the left is bright green, and freckles spatter her nose and below her eyes

 

Personality: Even though she may look kind, happy and kind of springy, she is kind only to friends, family, people in Ravenclaw and people she feels will be her friends. She always gets into fights (physical ones) and comes up with the best insults and is and has always been proud of the fact that she is much stronger than she looks. She's very smart (of course, she's in Ravenclaw), and extremely snarky and incredibly sarcastic

 

Family: Half-Blood, Muggle mother, wizard father, 10 year old little sister 

 

Electives: Care of Magical Creatures, Ancient Runes

 

Favorite class: Potions

 

Best class: DADA

 

Worst class: Charms

 

Alia plays Chaser on the Ravenclaw Quidditch team, and has a small black cat named Darkness. She has the ability to speak to cats, an ability she gets from her father, and she plays guitar, which is her favorite musical instrument.

Alia Byston walked through the "solid" wall in between platforms 9 and 10, hoping no Muggles had seen her vanish completely into a wall. She literally jumped onto the train, making her long, red ponytail bounce and started searching for a seat, Darkness, her cat, following her like small black, furry shadow. Alia came to a compartment with one girl in who she recognized as a fellow Ravenclaw, and a fellow 3rd year. "Hello," she said, "Ailyn, right?"

Ailyn nodded happily. 

"Yeppers, I'm Ailyn!  You're a Ravenclaw? I am too!  What's your name?"

While she bombarded with questions, her cat silently crept out of her arms and sped in to the hallway, and ran away,completely unnoticed.

I want so bad to know what Ava and her friends are talking about, but all my extendeble ears are at the bottom of my trunk.

"If you start talking about Quiddich, Ava's sure to send a invisible 'ear over here," says a voice in my head,"then I can grab that one. I can see invisible stuff after all, like people with dislusionment charms on them, and thestrals."

 

Hope that starts a good plot line!
