I saw the other roleplay was getting decidedly confused, and I didn't want to join this late in the story. Does anyone want to start a new roleplay? If you're intrested, please say so!

Hm... In the other RP, we had specific people playing the characters from the books. Are we doing that, or can anyone write from their POV? And are we going to start the RP on the train, the first day of Hogwarts, when?

What is tadpole? I think Umbridge would be easier to write as a child than Bellatrix.
@ Ima- Well, I think RP entails that everyone has a specific character, to answer your question. And if we have indeed decided on Marauders era, then I'd say we should start on the train. What say everyone else?

((I picture young Umbridge as a tadpole. Prob'ly 'cause Harry always described her as "froglike" or "toadlike". And I disagree about young Umbridge being easier to write than young Bellatrix. Then again, I am obsessed with Bella so maybe my opinion on the matter isn't something to go by...))

Those are probably good ideas, Mary. But hm... some of us will probably end up having to have more than one character. In that case, I'll be Lily Evans in addition to Noel. And what do you mean, "What is tadpole?"? TNO was referring to the larval stage of the anuran because Umbridge is so toadlike.

I don't think I can really picture young Umbridge either... bossy, probably, and selfish. She probably had a cat, but I can't picture her being very nice to it. Oh! I just decided I want Noel to have a pet Kneazle, by the way.

I think Umbridge would have had an owl or maybe a toad but I don't think she would've had a cat. Oh, yeah, I want Sara to have a ginger cat named Riley.
