Chatterbox: Blab About Books

Book Suggestions
Iv'e noticed lately...

Iv'e noticed lately that every thread I post on, I unconciously try to turn it into a book reccomending thread. Embarassed

@balletandbow, sorry about the commment on the would you rather thread.

So I thought  I would get it all out now and make a book recommendation thread.Smile Here's what I think would happen:

CBer 1: I'm reading whatever book by whatever writer, if you remember. It's whatever genre.

CBer 2: Comments on book. I think you might like whatever book by whatever author, if you remember.

FEEL FREE TO TALK OR DEBATE ABOUT THE BOOK, JUST TRY TO KEEP THE SUGGESTIONS GOING.

Hope this is fun!

I love the Land of Stories Series! They are so good. I also love Echo and Mysterious Bendict Society. Has anyone read the Young Royals series by Caroline Mayer? They're really good books about real historical princesses.

You have to read "Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library" by Chris Grabenstein (and maybe James Patterson). It's my favorite book. There is also a sequel that just came out, which is called "Mr. Lemoncello's Library Olympics," and another book with different characters called "The Island of Dr. Libris." They are SO GOOD!

I also recommend the Willow Falls Series, by Wendy Mass. They're AMAZING!

Escape from Mr. Limoncello's Library is really good, although I haven't read the other two. I love books like that. It's sort of "interactive," like you're trying to solve the puzzles and figure out the mystery with the characters.

If you liked that one, I highly recommend The Puzzling World of Winston Breen by Eric Berlin, and the sequel, The Potato Chip Puzzles. Lots of puzzles, if you couldn't tell by the name.

I read Mr. Lemoncello's Library and The Island of Dr. Libris! I liked Mr. Lemocello's Library a little more, but they are both really good. I thoght I read all of Wendy Mass's books! She's an awesome writer. What's Willow Falls about?

I reccomend Cornelia and the Audicious Escapades of the Somerset Sisters if you like Adventure stories.

@Bibliophile- The Willow Falls books are 11 Birthdays, 12 Finally, 13 gifts, The Last Present, and Graceful. I'm not completely sure if it's called the Willow Falls Series, but I've heard it referred to as that. 11 birthdays is about 2 kids named Amanda and Leo who have the same birthday. On their 11th birthday, they have an argument which triggers some sort of magic, and their day keeps repeating. They have to figure out how to fix it so that they don't get stuck repeating the same day over and over and over.  The rest of the books are all about birthdays and magic and a strange old lady named Angelina D'Angelo.

No, I haven't! Who's it by?

Has anyone read The Treekeepers, by Susan McGee Britton? It's kind of obscure, but it's one of my favorite books. I also like Dealing with Dragons, Pride and Prejudice, LoTR, the Pridain Chronicles by Lloyd Alexander, and many, many, other books.
