@L- The Wave is about this school class, which is talking about World War II and dictatorship. The kids say that they don't think something like that could ever happen again so the teacher starts a project to show them that it can. It starts out as something small but then it goes too far. The book is very good.

That sounds awesome. I'll check it out.

@Elise
That book's on my list of books to read.

We had a snow day yesterday, so I went to the library and read for FIVE WHOLE UNINTERUPPTED HOURS. It was heaven. So I have a lot of books I read.
Before, I read "Who Was Jim Henson?" for a report.
Then at the library I reread Olivia Kidney. Read the first book of Maus. Started rereading City of Masks. Started reading second book of Maus. Finished second book of Maus later that day. Went to the library AGAIN today to pick up more Jim Henson books and Soundbender. Finished "The Candle Man" and started the Childhood of Famous Americans of Jim Henson.
So I'm reading The Mysterious Benedict Society and the Prisoner's Dilemma, City of Masks, and Childhood of Famous Americans Jim Henson. Along with several other books that are somewhat comatose. Actually, three of them are sort of slowly trickling through my braaaaaaain. The other one is comatose.
Also, I found three out of four of a Tamora Pierce quartet in the library discards bin! X) And the third book of Sabriel which I have been meaning to read on tape, so whoohoo! And two books of the Chronicles of Prydain for less than a dollar.
I am a major sufferer of CLUD.

Now I'm reading Avow: The Archers of Avalon Book 3 by Chelsea Fine. I got the first book because the Kindle edition was on sale and now I can't put the series down.
I just finished Every Day by David Levithan. It was one of the best books I've everrrrr read. Everrr.

I forgot how to spell Mooseflower...
I started Jim Henson: The works, the art, the magic, the imagination.

Jim Henson's awesome.:) While you're reading all these books, or maybe when you're done, Kermit the Frog has an 'autobiography' out.
(January 19, 2013 - 11:57 am)
I love Kermit the Frog so much. I read this article in the newspaper a couple years ago about a guy writing the music for a muppet movie. The director said, "No. *animaliforget* and *otheranimaliforget* can't sing. They can chirp musically, but they can't sing." (And this justifies what about singing frogs and pigs?) And then he said (in response to Kermit saying 'I remember when I was just a little piece of felt'), "No. The Muppets are all being. There has never been a time before the Muppets. You can't do that."
I'm reading Sound Bender and the writing is DISGUSTING. Like reallly, really awful. They totally butchered an awesome idea.

I love all the Muppets movies (or at least the ones I've seen!) I'm kind of obsessed with the latest one, actually. I even made my dad buy me the piano book! Let me just say my family is VERY tired of "Pictures in my head!"
(January 20, 2013 - 9:58 pm)
Stopped Sound Bender.
Reading Erec Rex book one.
The title of The Fault in Our Stars in Sweden is Förr eller Senare Exploderar Jag which translates literally into "Sooner or Later I Explode" and the Swedish cover is awesome.
Jag behöver läser "Förr eller Senare Exploderar Jag" av John Green!
I'm attempting to speak more Swedish these days, because my school is only doing Spanish and French Rosetta Stone this year :-(. Now it looks like my frowny face has a mole. >:-(
(January 21, 2013 - 11:05 am)
@Gollum You speak Swedish? Fantastisk! Jag gör också. I do too. But not very well, so there you go. My grammar would kill a moose, it's so bad.
(January 21, 2013 - 2:23 pm)
Du talar svenska samt! Älg inte njuta min grammatik. Min svenska grammatik är dödlig. Jag med Google Translate till uppdatera min minne. Jag är försöker till lära mer Svenska, men.
In english: You speak Swedish as well! Moose did not enjoy my grammar. My Swedish grammar is fatal. I am using Google translate to refresh my memory. I'm trying to learn more Swedish, though
(January 22, 2013 - 8:32 pm)
Moose don't enjoy my grammar, and neither does my teacher :) It's kind of ironic, because I'm so anal about English grammar, you'd think I'd be the same with Swedish. But no.
(January 23, 2013 - 4:40 pm)
How do you type the circle over the "a" on a pc? Because it's annoying me that my Swedish is not making the proper "aw" sound. Nyarsh.
