What is everybody reading these days?
What are you...

What are you reading?  What book did you just finish?

I just started Ender's Game!

It's a little crazy so far--I can literally see the ideas forming in the author's mind, my mind, and the characters' minds.

I just finished The Fire Chronicle By John Stephens. It's the second book in the Books of Beginning series. Now I just need to finish The Fellowship of the Ring.

I read the first one, The Emerald Atlas, which was good. Has he made a third yet?

I'm in Battle of the Books, so there are specific books I need to read. I just finished Unlikely Friendships that my brother gave me for Christmas. I also just finished Where the Red Fern Grows, which is really good but the ending is so sad! I cried! Anyway, now I am in need of a trip to the library.

I'm currently trying to decide what to read. The Hobbit, The Unwanteds, Artemis Fowl, Redwall, Fever1793, Nancy Drew book 14, or At Home in Mitford. Any suggestions? I just finished reading The Girl Who Could Fly, which was really good. Does anybody know if there is a sequel to it? There was certainly room to! Like J, what happensto J?!!

The Hobbit you really should read.

I've heard good things about Artemis Fowl.

Redwall is good.

Looked at Fever 1793, but haven't heard anything about it.

Anything by John Green, Jay Asher or Libba Bray is always good.  As is Douglas Adams.

I recently re discovered E. L. Konigsburg.  She's also good.

And that's the book news.

@Gollum. I've read The Hobbit. I tried reading the first book in Lord of the Rings. I didn't really like it that much. Too much talking, not enough adventure. I had to read Fever 1793 for a book club and I didn't like it. I probably would have liked it, but since it was picked for me, I didn't like it. I hate when books are picked for me.

I suggest all Nancy Drew books.  I love Fever 1793.  It is so cool.  I read the Hobbit in class and I sort of liked it.

I just have to say: THE CITY OF EMBER IS
AMAZING. Best. Book Ever. Well, at least one of the best. Read the whole
series and you will not regret it.
