50/120 books I've read since September are fantasy/sci fi/mystery/adventure.

The rest were assigned o graphic novels/comics/magazines.

Scarlet, second in Marissa Meyer's Lunar Chronicles. They're like fractured fairy tales in a dystopian future where moon people are terrifying and have powers and stuff. Since Cinder is obviously Cinderella, and Scarlet is Little Red, I'm beginning to think that Cress is Rapunzel, and Winter's that one guy from the Winter Queen thingamabob. It has something to do with mirrors and ice.

Sort of unrelated: I just started watching Doctor Who. The new series starting with Christopher Eccleston. Oh, yeah.

@L

Cress makes sense as Rapunzel because of the whole mom craving veggies thing.

@Melody Yeah, that's where my reasoning was coming from.

CINDER'S SEQUEL IS OUT?  I can't believe I was not aware of this.

MUST READ.

I started Eon, after finishing A Proud Taste for Scarlet and Miniver, The Diviners and I Am Number Four.

(Insert the words land of in location.)

Eona is terrible. She *spoiler* falls in love. Which is why it is so terrible.

I read Eon, but I didn't like it that much. I don't know, it just wasn't really my thing.

Gah, what AM I reading? Johm Peel's Diadem worls of magic. Don't even ask.

I'm also trying to finish The Lunitic's Curse by F. E. Higgins, but I just can't get interested. The main character's name is Rex, for goodness sake!

Did I mention I finished Dark Lord like a week ago? He would say for evil's sake.

Just commenting, but I told my teacher to type in The Candleman into a website that shows you books you might like depending on the books you've read. A Tale Dark and Grim and Powerless, two of my favorite books (Powerless IS my favorite book) popped up. Also the second Candleman book.

Interesting.  What website is this?

I recently started 13 Little Blue Envelopes by Maureen Johnson.  I like it.  Although it's weird hearing about Italy, when I'm in Talia.  Like when I went to Venice.
