Chatterbox: Blab About Books

Redwall
This book is...

This book is sooo good! It's the first book in the Redwall series, by Brian Jacques (say it: Jakes). It is about Redwall Abbey in Mossflower woods. All the mice and other woodland creatures who live there are peaceful. But soon their peace will be shattered, because Cluny is coming! Cluny is a huge, one-eyed rat with a tail as long as a whip with a poison barb on the end. He and his army attack Redwall. The mice are able to defend themselves, but if they had the sword of Martin the Warrior, the founder of Redwall, they would be sure to win. Enter Matthias, a clumsy young novice in the order of Redwall. With the help of some wonderful friends, he sets out to find the sword of Martin. Will the mice win? Will Matthias find Martin's sword? Read this book to find out.

Do you mean the new one, Eulalia? I don't even think our library system has it. I haven't read it.

You live in Renton? Have I seen you? Probably not. I'm too far away, somewhere in the Snohomish county area.

i have read (and own) every single book in the series, and they are all great exept for Outcast of Redwall, which is depressing. The best thing is you can read them over and over and over again, and they never get old... i LOVE THEM!

Yeah, Redwall rocks!!!!! I read all of them up to Eulalia the summer before last summer, and now I'm reading Doomwyte. It's great so far, but I left it at a friend's house, so now I'm DYING to get it back. :(

Whoa, I haven't been to Borders in waaaaay toooo looooong... there's another Redwall book out?!?! *drools* Must... go... buy...

My favorites so far are The Long Patrol (I love Russa and her stick!) and Rakkety Tam. That one was my all-time favorite, I think. But Martin the Warrior was a good one, too. And Pearls of Lutra. And Salamandastron (that's sooo much fun to say. *chants: Sa-la-man-DA-stron Sa-la-man-DA-stron* I think that's how it's pronounced, although before I heard the Rakkety Tam recording, I thought it was Sa-la-MAN-da-stron. Oh well. Guess not.) Well, now I've got to go beg me mater to haul me to the flippin' bookstore, wot? Bad form, with it being me bedtime and all that. A and B the C of D, me bonny Mater!

WHOOHOO!

Cheers. I love the Redwall series. I have every single book and at least one of the picture books and a Redwall diary (they're not out anymore) and four of my books are signed and I have a pic of me and bq on my wall. And I also have the Ribbajack and the Castaways series.  Rakkety Tam is my all-time fav Redwall book, and my fav characters will always be Tam and Armel.  I also have the Rakkety Tam audiobook on my iPod.

i also like gonf; when i was little i called him...................GNOF!
