Chatterbox: Blab About Books
This book is sooo good! It's the first book in the Redwall series, by Brian Jacques (say it: Jakes). It is about Redwall Abbey in Mossflower woods. All the mice and other woodland creatures who live there are peaceful. But soon their peace will be shattered, because Cluny is coming! Cluny is a huge, one-eyed rat with a tail as long as a whip with a poison barb on the end. He and his army attack Redwall. The mice are able to defend themselves, but if they had the sword of Martin the Warrior, the founder of Redwall, they would be sure to win. Enter Matthias, a clumsy young novice in the order of Redwall. With the help of some wonderful friends, he sets out to find the sword of Martin. Will the mice win? Will Matthias find Martin's sword? Read this book to find out.

You're right, Redwall is fantastic! I think the best part about it is that after you're done reading it, there are around 17 more books in that series. (Watch out for The Long Patrol and Martin the Warrior. They're real heartstring-tuggers.) I finished the last book a couple months ago, and I LOVED it!

Yeah, the Redwall books are utterly fantastic. What I really like about them is that you can read them in pretty much any order. My favorite book is the one about the Tangerrung, and The High Ruhlain.

Yeah, Martin the warrior was so SAD!!!!!!!! It made me CRY!!!!!! So the long patrol is sad too???? Ok, I'll make sure to avoid it!!!! My friends tell me that the Bellmaker is really sad too. I only have the books the Taggerung and Mariel of Redwall, though I've read like 8 I think. Anyway, those two are really good!!!

I love the Redwall books! I've read almost all of them! It doesn't really matter what order you read them in but I'd reccomend reading Martin the Warrior and Mossflower before getting too far into the series. Martin the Warrior is all about Martin the Warrior (duh) and Mossflower is about the building of Redwall.

Hello again! Yes, my favorite Redwall book so far is definitely Martin the Warrior. I also like The Legend of Luke. That's like a story within a story. My favorite characters are the hares. I love, love, LOVE the way they talk! I also like the warriors. I think those are everybody's favorite characters.

The hares and moles are my favorite. But I like most of his characters. Sometimes the bad guy is my favorite. The Outcast of Redwall was like the saddest one ever! Does anyone else like the badger mothers of Redwall? The dibbuns are my most favorite (nothing is cuter than baby animals!) I really like the way he (Brian Jaques) describes all the feasts. It makes me so hungy!

Ooh, yeah, the food. I am currently pining for meadowcream pie. :d And GUESS WHAT? There is a Redwall cookbook!! I am on hold for it, and have been for several months. When I put it on hold, I was the 22nd in line!
