Twilight
by Stephenie MeyerIt's a really good story about loving somone no matter how different you are from each other. It's not just a love story, it's really good. It'ss up there with Romeo and Juliet for romance.

I have never read Twilight. It looks really stupid. I hate love stories. I considered it but after reading your comment I decided against it. Thank you.

Reuben, are you insane? This book rocks to the moon! You just don't like it 'cause you're a boy. Anyway, most people disagree with you. It's, like, the third most popular book in the world, I think, and in a poll, it was rated better than Harry Potter by, like, 40%.

Is romance the only thing it's about??? Ugg.

I am inclined to agree, Bella... Or maybe that part of the book is all anyone is interested in.

No romance isn't the only thing it is about, but most of it is that.
I used to make fun of it, but when I read the books, they just kept getting better and better. I would recommend it for sure. The movie is pretty close to the book, but the book is for sure way better.
I just don't get how everyone thinks Edward is "sooo hot!" cuz he is just average. I have seen better!
Just read the book and you will see why it is so good and trust me you will stay up till the wee hours of the morning just to finish one chapter after another! Read it and Enjoy!! Best of luck!!

I dont get it either! I hate it when girls go nuts over Twilight. I'll read it sooner or later, but I certainly won't end up like anyone who freaks out over ust the mentioning of it. Gosh.

Finally, someone who understands that it is a great book, who doesnt freak out about Edward! It's still a great series, though. Alice is awesome!!

I've never read it, but my friends go crazy over it, and they're talking about going to see the movie, and.......Isn't a story of tragic romance? And Stephenie Meyer (or something like that) had a dream about Twilight, that's where she got the idea from. (or so I heard.....)
Is there any romance happening in Cricket Country, buggies? Hopefully it's not so tragic!
No, no real romance other than Ladybug always trying to trap Cricket. But he's pretty smart in avoiding that.

It's rude to flame. And ad hominem arguments are out this year.
I happen to be a girl, and I loathe these books, as do two of my friends, also female.
And it's long been established that the general public has very poor tastes. Harry Potter (excluding all non-Bellatrix scenes from book 7) totally pwns Twilight.

I can't decide if I like HP or Twilight better, so I have decided to like them equally!
You're right though, HP is amazingly awesome. Bellatrix is my arch enemy because of what she did to Sirius. DIE BELLATRIX!! DIE!!!
Excuse my outburst.

*eyes narrow* *eyes twitch* Don't you be insulting Bellatrix Lestrange. She was AWESOME.
(April 15, 2009 - 5:08 pm)
TNO, first of all the Bellatrix Lestrange comment is a little bit off-topic since this is a Twilight review. But while we're off-topic I would like to ask how you can think someone who killed Sirius Black, tortured Neville's parents to insanity, killed Dobby and was a very devoted follower of Lord Voldemort could be awesome.
(May 5, 2009 - 9:43 pm)
Well, just 'cause she was a complete nutter doesn't mean she wasn't *awesome*. Sadistic, deranged characters are FUN, ok? :) And in her defense she wasn't trying to kill Dobby, she was trying to kill one of the humans. Preferably Harry. Pity she missed.
Still can't believe she was killed by Molly Weasley of all people. *grumble*
