Lotus Hotel and

Lotus Hotel and Casino RP

Walking through the glass doors, you find yourself in a lobby. It is large, and circular. A see-through tube elevator was in the middle of the room, with a tube slide wrapping around it. People were bungee jumping off of a balcony 8 or so floors up, and doors flashed signs promising all sorts of fun. The doorman approaches with an easy smile, extending a hand with a green card in it.

"Welcome to Lotus Hotel and Casino! Here is your card. You can use it to pay for anything in here, and it doubles as a room key!"

Hi! I'm not

Hi! I'm not trying to copy anyone (sorry if someone else has already made something that's basically the same) and I'm still new to the Chatterbox, but I thought that we could do something where people can write a story together. Basically, one person writes a sentence that starts a story, and the next person writes another sentence that continues that, and then the next person writes another sentence that continues that, and so on. Is this a good idea?

Escape Room

It's dark in here. If you hadn't felt so dizzy--side effect of the white tea (at least you hope it was tea) they had given you before they had knocked you out--and seen a small sliver of light through the door of wherever you are, you'd think you were still unconscious.

You can feel bands on your shoes, doubtless attached to the floor or the wall, the same way you've seen toys packaged. You'll have to take them (or your shoes) off, if you want to walk around.

Hi! I'm writing

Hi! I'm writing a sick scene in a book and it's really important to the plot, but I feel like I can't get the right words. Any suggestions?

THE GAME

THE GAME

You are casually minding your own business, watching Friends and eating a bowl of Goldfish, when suddenly, your cellphone dings. It's a worldwide message.

The Game has begun. You have one month to find your soulmate. Good luck. it reads. Don't mess up, either. Don't find them in time? You will be exterminated. . . .

Crumbling and overgrown since the late sixties, the only thing most people ever see of the Hillside Motel is the neon sign, unlit for the past few decades. The Hillside Motel, or what remains of it, is nestled deep in the forest somewhere between Mount Vernon and Stanwood. It lies on a short strech of the pacific highway called Bonnieview Road. From there, you can see both Snohomish and Skagit County, their riches and wonders lying bare and free.

The sign has, of course, been dark for years and years.
