Hi! I'm writing a sick scene in a book and it's really important to the plot, but I feel like I can't get the right words. Any suggestions?

You wanna try running it past me? I might be able to make some suggestions.

I get that feeling too sometimes, and I just try to focus on getting the scene out on paper in the broad strokes before finding the specific words that better fit what I'm trying to say. Getting other people to read what I have an critique it, even if I know it can be better if only I had the right words, can also be helpful.
