PLOT HELPI&#
PLOT HELP
I'm thinking about doing nanowrimo this year. So far I have an interesting idea, a few good characters, and a substantial amount of world building-
But *swoons dramatically*, alas, I have no plot.
The main character is a member of an organization with a specific mission, but that mission isn't neccesarily going to be completed in the book, so I'm having trouble finding the MAIN PROBLEM(tm) for the actual story. Any general tips? (Feel free to post any other plot issues/questions here too.)

So, I was minding my business one day and thought, hey, wasn't there this website that had a whole lot of people who are wierd and pretended to be magical animals except weren't at the same time? Yeah, there was! Wonder what those little nutters are doing? So... here I am. You know what? I'm gonna make another RP, not in this post though. So sit tight, and wait. Trust me, it will be worth it.

She swayed in
She swayed in the wind, danced to the rustling of the trees, her crown of silver, gold, and rowan wood glowing warmly like a candleflame. Her face was calm, but raging, as if she was happy and anguished at the same time. A clanging sounded in the bushes, and a squadron of heavily armored warriors crashed into the clearing, leaving her surrounded, save the cliff to her back, overlooking a beautiful seashore.

He wanted pieces
He wanted pieces of creatures--creatures of fantasy, of bright light and of darkness. He had plans, plans filled with darkness and doom (when it suited him, of course). He had money enough to make his lowest underling rich. He didn't care what creature he condemned as long as he got what he wanted.
It would have been perfect, really. Except that a single underling, hired from the outside, failed.
That underling is me.

Admins, are we
Admins, are we allowed to link or talk about Stone Soup, which is a magazine that is made up of poems, stories, artwork of children 13 and under? It's the other mag I get beside Cricket. They're having some really great contests right now (you don't need a subscription to enter) and I wanted to tell others on here about them.
