She swayed in

She swayed in the wind, danced to the rustling of the trees, her crown of silver, gold, and rowan wood glowing warmly like a candleflame. Her face was calm, but raging, as if she was happy and anguished at the same time. A clanging sounded in the bushes, and a squadron of heavily armored warriors crashed into the clearing, leaving her surrounded, save the cliff to her back, overlooking a beautiful seashore.
A man clad in armor trimmed with Phoenix feathers and Selkie fur, obviously the leader, stepped forward and flicked up his visor. He was a handsome man, with dark eyes and hair that stretched to his shoulders. His skin was a pale, pale white, and his teeth were jagged and fanged like a bat and a wolf alike. His expression also was wolf-like, as he said to her, mockingly, 
"Well, Hel-lo, my lady! Fancy meeting you here, in such undignified surroundings, I would expect a lady of your caliber to be in a castle or mansion, not a dirty old forest." he was trying to provoke her, but was disappointed when she simply smiled and said, "I find it useful, at times, to return to my roots."
"Ah... yes, this is where your mother was grown. I
had forgotten."
"And died, Cedrikk. Her ashes were scattered among the other trees and plants here to help them grow and prosper, though her stump remains here."
"Yes... Your Majesty, I hate to say this, and I am eternally sorry, but I simply must kill you now, if I am to become King of Sylvan."
"NO!!" two young woman, clad entirely in leaves, stepped out of their trees, holding sticks sharp and hard as swords. "We will defend our Queen, even if it costs us our lives!"
"Stand down." said the Queen, quiet but firm.
"What?!"
"Stand down, Reika and Thana. no blood -save mine- shall be spilled today."
The Dryads looked more than a slight bit ready to disobey, but slid back into their trees reluctantly, looking sadly upon their cousin the Queen. 
"I have thought long and hard on this, Riko." said the Queen, "and I have decided on the best course of action."
"Thank you for seeing it my way" said Riko, and made a gesture to his men, who advanced on the Queen, only to fall back, as, after she doffed it, the crown began to emit a blinding light. Riko's eyes widened, and he screamed "SEIZE HER!" to his men, who lunged at the Queen, but in vain, for the crown splintered into seven large shards, and four small. Riko screamed in fury, and he was left standing with only one shard of the crown.
And then the Queen smiled and said; "And thus, I choose mine own death." She fell back over the edge of the cliff, arms spread, and fell into the sea.
Reveka woke, sweating, and, after she had calmed herself, walked to her window, overlooking a landscape of dark thorns and ivy, choking what had, once upon a time, been a beautiful oak meadow.

Wow, that went way longer than i expected. Anyhoo, this is the beginning of the book i'm writing, called the Splintered Crown, though the trilogy will be called the Splintered Kingdom. (And yea, it will be a trilogy, the second book will be called the Broken Jewel, and the third will be the Shattered Sky.) Anyway, i have trouble coming up with characters, so i have decided to do something similar to a Solo Write, though i reserve the right to change any part of them, except maybe their names, at will, or reject them completely. Now to you i present the rules.
I. Your characters must fit the genre of (slightly Dark) Fantasy.
II. Your characters must not be Over Powered or Cliche.
III. There will be only Three Main Characters for this book, one Elven, one Dragon, and one Human, besides the ones that i create.
IV. You must not complain if I change or regect your character. (In case this sounds like I'm micromanaging, i just want to prevent a war... a precaution i should've taken on my first RP.)
V. Have fun creating characters. If any of my rules prevent you from doing so, just ignore them.
VI. Please refrain from creating characters without detail. (For personality, 3+ sentences. For appearence, 4+.)
VII. Please refrain from giving Minor characters strong powers such as Pyrokinesis or Telepathy, although they could have such powers as control over sparks, or minor empathy. (Secondary characters can be almost as strong as Main Characters, though not quite.)

Name: Reveka Thorne
Appearence: Reveka is 6'4" and pretty, almost Elvish-looking, with green eyes and woody brown hair, that, if she had her way would go to her waist, but as is only goes to her shoulders. She has dark mohagony skin, and has a birthmark of a jewel on her left hand, and a leaf on her right. She wears a a tunic, a pair of leather pants with metal buckles, a belt with a large gold buckle, engraved with an oak leaf, and a pair of leather boots with bronzen buckles. She has two earrings shaped like leaves, and she has an easy grace about her.
Age: 14
Personality:  meh, this is only for you guys so i know how to portray them.
Speices: Half-Dryad, Quarter-Elven, though she thinks herself human... in the beginning.
Background: same as personality BOOM MWAHAHA!
Powers: She can see spirits, and cast spells.
Powers granted by Speices: she has control over plants, though this is halved by her Human/Elvish heritage.

Wow! Your writing has improved! A tip would be to press enter every time a new person speaks. It’s hard to look at your writing, which is all one paragraph, and not feel daunted. Also, the dream-to-wake part was sort of confusing, so do the paragraph thing and maybe make the dream in italics. Or make it the prologue. Okay, now my character!

I feel others will tend to do female, so I’ll make mine male. Also, I think you should’ve done the personality because then I can try to make my character fit better with yours.

Name: Jaden Siyapicus

Appearence: I will post a drawing later

Age: 13

Personality: Observant, good at eavesdropping. Leans back on things and talks, using his hands a lot. He’s creative, but not good at art and his spelling is horrible, so expresses his creativity in conversation. Chews on nails when nervous. A snap-fire sort of energy.
Species: Human
Background: Pretty normal? He doesn’t have much money, but does live with his parents in a house, not a street urchin. He has a fort he’s built with his friends that he goes to sometimes. Sometimes he goes dragon hunting/fishing/whatever the cool thing is with his friends. He does have friends, but he’s not noticed much. Everyone likes him, but no one’s that close. His home life isn’t the best, because his parents argue all the time and are mostly preoccupied with his sister and raising enough money for her to have a good life. However, they don’t go against Jaden specifically.
Powers: Smart, comes up with good plans. Can speak to animals/speak any language (which will be helpful communicating with other characters)
Powers granted by Species: You know. Endurant, never gives up... humans aren’t an ‘everyman’ species, but I think you know what we can do.

The main charries have to be 12-17, or the equivalent (so the Elf might be like 30 in human years, but 15 in Elf years,) and Secondary/Minor charries can be of any age, though i might request or change ages.

This is interesting... I'll lend you my D&D character.

Name: Snika

Appearence: He's a Redscale Burrow Kobold with yellow eyes. Wears a brown cloak with light leather armor underneath. About 2' 3.
Age: 11-16 depending on how long it has been since his backstory
Personality: He's a cautious type. He slow to trust but is loyal. Quite serious and ia not a fan of humor or gnomes, but isn't type to ruin things because of it. He would pull out the bow and go in the back if he's losing but go to the front lines with a pair of daggers if he's winning. If all is lost he would hide.
Speices: (Dragon, Human, Dryad, Halfling, Dwarf, Etc.) Burrow Kobold
Background: I have an essay for this but to shorten it. Basically his clans last sponsor. A red dragon was furious due to his clans failure that he commits a genocide on the clan. Snika is one of the few if not only survivor. 
Powers: None really, I had him as a rouge class in the game so basicly he's good at stealth, lockpicks, and proficent with daggers and bow.
Powers granted by Speices: (Dragons breathe flame, Dwarves see in the dark, Etc.): Darkvision. Though this is not a power he can make traps.
Hero, Villain, or random character that doesn't really care and are usually gonna be Minor charries, with the occasional secondaru.: Hero.
Main, Secondary, or minor: Secondary. 
Other: He was his clan's Trapper. You can name the Clan and the Dragon however you like. Open to relationship but please at least keep it in the same kind of species (reptilian).

Name: Thrarem Arwenn
Appearance: He's pretty short (don't bring it up around him though, it's a sore topic for him), around 4 feet 2 inches. He has curly auburn hair and a grandpa-sized beard (on the Official Beard Scale). He has rough skin, and usually a devilish smile on his face. He has dark brown eyes and tan skin. 
Age: 29
Personality: Generally a cheerful guy, but also pretty shady, he's not afraid to take risks, yet he's not very loyal. He loves having the spotlight on him, and won't hesitate to double-cross someone if it means he'll survive. Pretty persuasive and cunning. Will do anything for some ale or money. 
Speices (Dragon, Human, Dryad, Halfling, Dwarve, Etc.): Dwarf
Background: He lived a pretty normal life until he got mixed up with the wrong group, then he began a life of thievery and smuggling. I can't think of anything else, this sentence is here to make it look like I'm actually good at coming up with backgrounds.
Powers:  None, besides night visioooooooon
Powers granted by Speices (Dragons breathe flame, Dwarves see in the dark, Etc.): He can see in the dark (very helpful in night robberies)
Hero, Villain, or Extra: I'd say he's kind of a... Anti-villain kinda guy

Name: Kyrinn (Kai-rin)

Appearance: Her scales are a dark purple, almost black, and on her wings she has splashes of gold scales. She has gold eyes and twisted horns on her head. She's not full grown yet, so maybe the size of an elephant-ish? She looks a bit menacing, but tries to make herself seem as small as possible when around humans.

Age: 200 (or whatever the dragon equivalent for somewhere around 20 is)

Personality: Just a little bit shy, but gets aggravated easily. Has an aversion to killing anything that can talk, and some animals, but will do so to feed herself. She enjoys the company of others, unlike some loner dragons, but has no family of her own. She is fiercely loyal, but has a sense of self-preservation, so she'll sometimes save herself before others, then feel terrible about it for weeks.

Species: Dragon

Background: Grew up on her own, with  only vague memories of any family. She lived off leaves and berries until she was old enough to hunt, and her aversion to killing came from one of her earliest memories: watching a hawk swoop down and kill a baby rabbit near where she was hiding.

Powers: Well, fire-breath, and she's a very fast flier.

Powers Granted by Species: Fire-breathing

Hero, Villain, or other Random Character: Possibly hero? Wherever you see fit to put her.

Main, Secondary, or Minor Charrie: Again, wherever she's needed.

Name: Jacque
Gender: M
 
Appearence: Dark brown hair in the classic side part, soft misty grey eyes. He has a dark, slightly brooding face with some sharo fetures. Has a very carless or scruffy look. Average height. Althetic build
 
Age: Around 21 but looks older
 
Personality: The average person (Or elf or dwarf etc. ) would probably not want to hang around this guy. The lowest of the low. He does not have high esteem of himself. He might look untustworthy, but wouldn't hesitate to help a person in dire need. Quite unlikely to have any friends.  
 
Speices (Dragon, Human, Dryad, Halfling, Dwarve, Etc.): He's mostly human although he has some Elvish blood. But he doesnt know that. 
 
Background: Was raised in an orphanage (Which isnt actually uncommon in those times due to sickness). He liked it there, however he often felt cut off from the rest of the world. He had a longing to go explore, and see what the world held for him. However, when he was old enough to  be on his own, he found that the world wasnt as cracked up as he thought it to be. Hard times fell upon him and he was barely gettin by for quite sometime, until he found a steady job. But it turns out the head dude was sly and corrupt. He than left town with the money Jacque worked for.  
 
Powers:  None.. so far. I guess Ill leave that up to you Catslcaw. Maybe water or ice? That would be cool.) Although he is very athletic and agile.
 
Powers granted by Speices: (Dragons breathe flame, Dwarves see in the dark, Etc.): Elvish agility and hand eye courdination And whatever you want Catsclaw.

Name: Nessarose ( yes, I have seen Wicked) Goes by Nessa

Gender: F

Apperance: Long, wavy, pitch black hair. Purple-blue eyes. Not exactly pale skin, but close to that. Wears a light purple tunic and black leggings. Oh, and Elven ears. 

Age: About 16 in human years, Catsclaw can choose a logical Elven age. 

Personality: ESFJ. Is very open to people, but can occasionally be rude. Warm, but can push people beyond there comfort zone. Will stand up for what she believes in. 

Species: Thinks she’s human, but is completely Elven. 

Background: Nessa was born to a family of Elven nobles. Her father was the king’s most trusted advisor, and her mother related to Elven royalty. Nessa was abandoned at the age of six, where humans found her. She went to orphanage after orphanage, when, finally, she escaped. Nessa runs into the main charries from time to time, and eventually finds her parents (could that take place in the story?) 

Powers: I don’t mind if Catsclaw gives Nessa powers....

Powers granted by Species: Limited plant control...can only do a little but at a time, otherwise turns weak. 

Hero, Villain,or random character: Neutral....
