The Debate Thread!  Anything except politics and religion allowed here (though that could change).  So, I know Oregano and Ima and maybe more people seemed interested in debate. List subjects you would like to talk about.

back to the In This Month's Issue

I hope that amendment doesn't get passed because then women would have to be drafted for the army to the same extent that men are. Which is just weird, and makes very little sense I think. (Moms, anyone?)

 

I believe right now there is no draft, but men are required to register. The US armed forces are filled with voluntary enlistees.

I sooo want it to get passed. When I grow older I'm going to work super hard for it to be passed.

@ Emily L.--Dads, anyone? Brothers, fathers, husbands, sons...sisters, mothers, wives, daughters...what is the difference? None of them should have to go to war.

CoolIsn't this thread supposed to NOT be about religion? What is Spammy? Is Spammy the thing at the bottom that tests if you are a human or not? If that's what it is, then Spammy says "food."
