Oh, we're both scared of spiders apparently! The big ones frighten me the most. There's just something about them that is really creepy crawly...for some reason I like other insects but not spiders.
And we both like the Chronicles of Narnia and Wonder! Those are all very, very good books. Which is your favorite book in the Narnia series? Mine is the Horse and His Boy. The interesting thing is when I first read Wonder, I didn't like it, but when I read it the second time, I loved it.
What kind of poetry do you like to write? I like to write rhyming poems with rhyme scheme, meter, and consistent syllable length.

I'm working on my RP post, but I'm a perfectionist so it's taking a long time :/ just wanted to let you know that I will post, when I finish writing it. And I'm trying to finish asap, because people are probably waiting to start :/
Also I'm starting school on Monday eek--

My goal is to post tonight (with some Fern Wolf lore I thought of mixed in...hope that's ok? Normally I'd confirm ideas with you, but right now because I'm already really behind on the RP and don't know when you'd respond, I'm just implementing those ideas right now?) once this comment posts (so I don't double-post). I gave myself a due date to post three hours from now. If I don't post by then, it means I got severe writer's block or couldn't access the computer.
Okay...so about plot...I think it'd be a good idea for Moondrop to make the "worrying discovery" I mentioned in the outline (which is the prophecy you wrote :D ) Even though it seems like it makes more sense for a prophecy to be found in the forest, I'm sure we could make it so the prophecy originated in the forest and somehow got to the tundra. If I was posting the prophecy discovery, I just don't know when I would get to it...I'm trying to see how I can balance schoolwork & RP this year, though...

Yes, that's fine! It looks like extremely good lore :D The whole part is so good too - I love the atmosphere and the writing and everything really :))
Will do! Maybe Moondrop could find it on the foraging expedition that's being planned; it would fit in nicely that way. And if you'd like, perhaps Moondrop could create an "official" Fern Wolf charrie, who obviously wouldn't control any main Fern Wolf action but who could just keep things going with the other Fern Wolves? Just an idea :)

Ooh and I've got another historical fiction rec! I just finished reading The Second Mrs. Gioconda by E.L. Kongisburg, and it's very good - the main character doesn't act in accordance to the times, which is a bit irritating, but it's well-written, completely CB-appropriate, and super fun and absorbing. The whole theme is how Leonardo da Vinci came to paint the Mona Lisa, and I love the explanation the author came up with :) She also wrote A Proud Taste for Scarlet and Miniver, about Queen Eleanor of Aquitaine, which is fairly good as well. Just thought I'd mention them, since I did enjoy them :)

That's a wonderful idea! I'm really inactive on CB right now, but trying to get active again :( Don't worry if you advance the plot a bit without me (and feel free to make a post as Celandine if you need her to make an announcement or something important like that)
Those sound good; I'll check them out sometime (sometime as in when I have time...sigh...)
And--I'm sorry I keep disappearing :( I was working on an RP post this weekend and I was almost finished before school started again :/ I'm really hoping to finish soon though!!

Lyric!! Same, I've been missing you so much :[ I've been doing all right, though... basically much busier than usual with school, which is taking up way more time than I'd thought it would. I'm almost done with my next post on the Magic Wolf RP, though, so it should be appearing soon! How've you been?

I've been very stressed out lately (which is relatively good in my case, but other than that, I think I'm doing okay...I really wish I had the time and energy and motivation (which often depends on energy) to work on the RP though :(
Irivia is a wonderful name! :) I think for story purposes we could just pretend that Celandine was mentoring her in the past to be the new leader, and now Irivia's starting to take on more pack responsibilities? That would explain the change in leadership, and make it a sort of co-leadership?
