Does anyone want
Does anyone want to try another Harry Potter RP? I'm thinking... After Harry, so we could sort of play around with the rebuilding of Hogwarts?

Harry Potter had a phoenix feather wand.

I don't think that would work, Annie. It would be too confusing. I just think that some of you should switch to another house or another position in Quiddich.
We have too many Ravenclaws in any case.

She would have to be Luna's niece by marriage, because Luna doesn't have any siblings.

I agree with Kale that we have too many Ravenclaws. I think we need at least one more person in Huffelpuff and one more in Gryffindor. And I think we should all be in third year.

Okay, just to make this clear. Here are the Quidditch teams and their current players.
Ravenclaw:
Brendan Karnthy (ZB): Keeper
Eimhir Rosenblut (Elizabeth M.): Seeker
Slytherin:
Kale Ember (Kale E.): Chaser
Hufflepuff:
Sinead Nobbs (Olive): Chaser
And no one in Gryffindor is playing so...
Now, we need people in Hufflepuff and Gryffindor, perhaps in Slytherin, too...
@Olive- You turned thirteen recently, right? Happy Birthday!

Ok...I can make Monika a beater on the Gryffindor team. Administraters, why was her last name taken out?
I wasn't sure if it was a real person's name or not, and for real people we only post last initials.

No, she isn't real :) I guess there probably is someone out there named Monika Hua, but she was not meant to represent any real person. She was completely a part of my imagination.

@Naomi P.- You don't have to. I was just saying that there weren't any Gryffindor players.
fascinating experience.
Eimhir Rosenblut-
The Rosenblut family made their way through the crowd of families sending their children off to Hogwarts.
Mrs. Rosenblut - a middle-aged, mild-tempered muggle – was staring at the wizards and witches as they passed. Though she had been visiting the train station every year since her children had turned eleven, it was still a fascinating experience.
“Mum,” her black-haired son Adson whispered, “stop staring.”
“Now, Adson, it’s not bad for your mother to observe. She didn’t grow up in a wizarding family like you.” Mr. Rosenblut kissed his wife tenderly on the cheek.
Adson crossed his arms and slowed down his pace so that his sister could catch up with him.
“Hey, Ae.” He ruffled her red hair.
“Can’t you stop that? You’re so immature.” Eimhir flattened her hair and ran to her father to hold his hand, leaving Adson to grumble behind them.
They walked like this for a while until they were halfway down the platform. Then Mrs. Rosenblut turned to her son and held his head in her pale hands. “Write us a letter every week and don’t cause any more trouble. I don’t want to have to send another –“ She looked at her husband questioningly.
“A howler, dear.”
“Yes, a howler. I don’t want to send one of those again. Oh and say hello to Nicole for me.” She smiled, planted a kiss on his cheek and hugged him tightly, causing Adson to turn bright red.
“Okay, Mum. That’s enough.” He managed to escape his mother’s grasp and run onto the train.
“And you,” Mrs. Rosenblut beamed at her small daughter. “Keep up your grades and write us if you’re feeling homesick.” Eimhir embraced both of her parents before she boarded the train.
Inside students flitted around, finding seats before they could be taken. She made her way down to the end of the train where it was rather quiet and not too many people were seated.
She found an empty compartment on the right side, stowed her little shoulder bag in the over-head cabinet, took of her coat and sat down, waiting for the train to set off.

Kale~
"Have a good year," my father reminds me, as he's been doing every year for three years, now. I nod quickly, and duck into the train before he can say anything else. Sparks meows in a complaining tone in his carrier. I mouth "I'll let you out soon," as I walk down, peeking into compartments. Most of them are full of people. Tons of Gryffindors too.
Yeah, I'm picky. I can't help it, but I hate traveling in a compartment full of people I don't know. Actually, I hate travelling in a compartment with anyone besides Sparks. SOme people tend to have a bit of summer homework they need to finish.
Of course, I did most of the the major research over the summer, but there are some small things I need to fix.
Sadly, talking to my father has gotten me to the point where almost all the compartments contain someone unsavory. For me anyway.
There was only one, and even that had a person in it. A girl that I think was the Ravenclaw seeker.
Well, Ravenclaw's the second best house. And she's half-blood. I think.
I come in and take out a book, hoping she won't notice me, or notice me and pay no attention.
Ok, a few questions:
If this is the beginning of the school year, how can so many people be in third year and 14? Just something to point out.
Is this at the time that Harry's kids went to Hogwarts, a little earlier, or a little later?

Blood Status: half-blood

She walked up the platform, her black hair swinging behind her in a thick braid. Her battered suitcase levitated in front of her, stealthily clearing a path to the train. Monika paused at the very edge of the platform and nearly got pushed face first into the train by a swinging cage containing a snowy owl. She stumbled, caught herself, and pushing the suitcase in front of her clambered into the train.
Monika had arrived exactly ten minutes before 11 o'clock, but that made no difference. The platform was simply mobbed, with witches and wizards and their children dressed in outfits varying from jeans and sweaters to ludicrous crimson wizard's robes. She briefly imagined her father having a heart attack when approached by a particularly replesent grandfather, sending his grandkids off to school wearing the wizard's volumnous equivalent of a full dress suit.
Shi-zi, sitting invisibly on her shoulders, growled softly as her head scraped the ceiling.
"Dui bu qi," Monika murmered in Mandarin. "Sorry."
"The sooner we're out of this madhouse the better," said Shi-zi in her ear. She hated crowds, especially when she was invisible. Monika knew that her pet-no, more of a witch's familiar or friend than pet-would be soon bringing up the complaint about the itchiness of invisibility. And that was a topic best avoided in a crowded train, where a half-lioness could wreak havoc in a matter of seconds.
The levitation suitcase was starting to slow down, as though chiding Monika to stop thinking and just find a place to sit. She pushed her way more delicately down the crowded corridor, trying to not bump Shi-zi's head on the ceiling.
It must be later than I think, she thought. There aren't many empty compartments.
Reaching the end of the car, she saw a familiar face and ducked into the compartment. Then she almost backed out. The familiar face belonged to Sparks, a very intelligent black and white cat who Shi-zi and Monika had encountered at Hogwarts for the last couple of years. But Sparks was not alone. A dark haired human boy sat next to him, gazing out the window, and across the compartment sat an unfamiliar orange and gray cat. Next to him sat a familiar petite red haired girl. Monika recognized her as the Ravenclaw seeker Eimhir Roseblut, who, if not exactly a friend, was one of the nicer humans at Hogwarts.
She decided not to back out, despite Shi-zi breathing whispered threats down her neck. As Monika's suitcase levitated itself into the luggage rack, she sat down next to Sparks. Shi-zi jumped off her shoulders and sprang into the luggage rack. The rack shook a little, and Eihmir's eyes followed the movement. Then she lowered her eyes and looked straight at Monika.
"Hi, Monika," she said in her dreamy way. "Where's your sister?"
Monika cleared her throat. "Hi...Eimhir. She's not coming to Hogwarts this year." She looked over at the boy. He still hadn't moved. Sparks winked at her.
"Oh, why not?"
"She's...well, our parents want her to go to a regular High School," she lied. "You know how she really didn't want to be a witch."
Eimhir nodded, remembering. Monika's twin sister, Marian, was hard to forget.
(January 25, 2012 - 6:55 pm)
Eimhir Rosenblut-
The girls sat uncomfortably in the cabin, both trying to avoid the subject of Marian.
Marian, Monika’s identical twin, had been the complete opposite of shy Monika. Her outright personality had helped her make friends – but also enemies. Halfway through the last Hogwarts year, Marian, a promising witch, had been taken home and never brought back. Monika hadn’t uttered a word on the subject since.
“How is she… doing?” Eimhir bit her lip, wondering if it might be better to leave the matter be.
Monika chewed on a strand of black hair, wishing the girl hadn’t asked the question. “Quite good… really.”
This put an end to the conversation and both leaned back and said nothing.
“What book are you reading?” Eimhir was the first to break the silence, scrunching her brows together as she tried to read the tiny letters on the cover of Kale’s book.
“You’re talking to me?” He sighed as he closed the book and read the cover aloud. “One hundred fifty curses to use when dueling.”
“A rather long title, don’t you think?”
Kale shrugged.
“I quite prefer charms.”
Kale shrugged again.
“You’re not going to try any of those on us, are you?” Monika mistrustfully pressed herself against the wall, attempting to get as much space as possible between her and the boy.
“You know the whole ‘Sytherin house is bad’ thing is getting old.” Kale angrily dropped his book on the seat and waited for Monika’s response.
“I didn’t-“
“And don’t you try to take it back. I know what you meant!”
Monika stood, tossing her braid, and raised her wand. So did Kale.
And that’s when Brendan Karnthy opened the cabin door.

I'm just going to sneak in here since no one's posted in 2 days I think.
//Sinead Nobbs//
The Platform is a sea of colours, the most prominent one being black. I am no exception.
I had spent the last hour getting my robes to perfection. The hour before that had been for packing the things in my suitcase and cheering up little Susy. It will be her first year at Hogwarts but I don't know why she's so nervous; she'd boarded at Charm School just last year and had wholly enjoyed it, Hogwarts should be no different.
"I think I want to be in Ravenclaw!" Susy pipes up chirpily. I guess she isn't that nervous. "No. Hufflepuff would be better. I'd rather be nice than smart!" Greggory, my older brother who graduated two years ago, huffs.
"Trust me, you won't be known as smart," Greggory says. Susy just sticks her tongue out at him. I kick him with one of my new boots. "Besides, Slytherin is the best house. Ambition, cunning, and good looks is what we are made of after all." Greg smiles smugly and winks at Ana Hoffman who was in his year as she walks by, dragging her little brother. She ignores him.
"Slytherin house is also a tight-knit family, we're always there for each other," Greg continues on.
"Like Hufflepuff!" Susy yells. Greg snorts.
"You could say that," he says, "but Slytherin is... less of an encouraging family and more of a disciplining family. We're like families from-"
"C'mon, Su, we're going to be late," I interject, taking Susy's hand and dragging her to the train. I wave at Greg without turning around. "Get home safe and tell mum and pa love from us!"
The train whistles just a few minutes after we're inside. I widen my eyes, remembering the luggage which Greg had been towing, but when I turn around, the carts are standing right there, safe and sound. I smile. I guess he's not that bad of a big brother.

Okay, my last post where I said 'and Brendan Karnthy entered'. Brendan Karnthy can be replaced by the next person who posts... So we don't have to wait for ZB.
