Oh! I almost forgot! In response to your comment about being an animagus, it will make a lot more sense once I reveal the little secret I have in mind. Once we get started writing, I'll tell one of the characters my dark secret.... But for now, just wait in suspense.

Appearance: Pretty short. Not thin, not heavy, but fairly muscular. Medium length wavy black hair, very large black eyes. Square face, short upturned nose.
Personality: Very, very quiet. Her nickname is "Mouse" because when she does speak it is in a very soft voice. She is not shy, and attracts people to her because even though she is so quiet she has a powerful presence. Not afraid of anything except physical weakness.
Pet: She has a half-lioness in her dorm room, but that's a secret.
Blood Status: Muggle born. No trace of magical heritage.
Wand: Fourteen and a quarter inches, rowan, unusual core of gryphon feather, extremely powerful.
Quidditch: Not on team. Has no interest.
Other: Came to Britain from China at age 5. Has incredible prowess as a witch.

Appearance: Long, wavy golden-brown hair, clear olive eyes, not short or tall, she's kind of in the middle height wise, light tan skin, her hair is prone to getting frizzy. She isn't Mary Sue beautiful, but she is pretty.
Personality: She is shy when you first meet her, but when you get to know her she's extremely open and some times she even rambles. It's really hard to get her mad, but when you do, watch out. She's kind and caring, but she sometimes gets overwhelmed. She is a bit strange in the way that she zones out some times and believes that nargles and such might exist. She is carefree and loves laughing.
Pet: Black owl with wight speckles on the under side of her wings.
Blood Status: Half-blood
Wand: Cherry wood,10 in., Basilisk fang.
Quidditch: She's the seeker and she is GOOD.
Other: She is Luna Lovegoods niece, she has HUGE appetite, and, (sort of) like Maji, she has a strange purple stone that she wears as a pendant.
P.S. We should have two or three Quiditch teams for each house.

Oh I don't care, it's just a bit... random, that's all :) And phoenix feathers are used pretty frequently in canon, to the point that the protagonist and the antagonist both have one from the same bird.
