A new warrior
Chatterbox: Pudding's Place
A new warrior
A new warrior clan!!!!!
I have decided to start a new warrior clan, seeing as there is only one current one here for me to join. I would like to be a leader, but, as I haven't read any of the books yet, I am resorting to being a deputy. I am looking for a cat who is fit and healthy, has a good personality, and knows most (if not all) of the prophecies to lead my clan, protect my clan, and teach me how to be a leader. :) I am also looking for kits, apprentices for medicine cats and warriors, mentors, warriors, medicine cats, elders, and queens. Please join! Our clan is called Midnightclan (if anyone has a better name, please tell me it! This is the best name I could think of for now…). Here is my bio:
Name: Hawkheart
Pelt: Black with a white star on forehead
Eyes: Black
Age: Thirteen moons
Personality: Very calm and smart. A born leader but lets other, wiser cats lead when needed. Is not afraid to admit he's wrong. Organized and courageous. Kind and likes to learn. Very loyal to his clan.
Position: Deputy
Skills: Great warrior and leader. Has amazing senses
Gender: Male
Here is Midnightclan's bio:
Hunting skills: Hunts best at night, can see well in the dark, can sneak quietly anywhere, and (please tell me if this is a good quality or not) can become invisible if needed.
Prey: ???? Any ideas?
Location: The Dark Forest
Please join! All comments (good or bad) appreciated!

I stirred in my sleep and immediately felt Starpaw fuss over me. I know I'm hurt but this whole fussing thing is getting annoying! I tried my hardest and managed to spew out a "Hi Starpaw".
"Wow you're awake!?" she asked. "How do you feel?!"
"Okay," I quietly replied while trying to turn to face her. Outside the Clan looked busy (as usual) and I spotted a young cat no more than appreantice aged stare right at me. "What's going on? Who is that?"
"I really don't know. She claims to be from Flameclan but I don't know. Rest Moonkit; we need you to recover," she told me.
I laid my head down and started to sleep again. I just wanted to be better already so I could help the clan again!

Thornpelt:
The dream in which I had seen my sister was not the last one I would have over the next few days. Others would come; in all of them I saw an injured young tom, then my sister. Always the same.
Moonkit was better now, and back to her old self; always running around happily.
Leopardpaw had been accepted into the clan by Horsethunder and Hawkheart the previous morning, but had not yet been given a mentor to finish her apprentice training.
No one had seen the beast since it had attacked Moonkit, but we all feared that it would be back. I alone knew who had led the creature to us in the first place. Roseblood. My twin sister, who had betrayed our clan so many seasons ago, who had killed our other two siblings, and tried to kill me. She had been thrown out of the clan, and leading the beast here was her revenge.
But what of the young tom-cat in my dreams? Who was he? In the dream, he carried no clan's scent. He could be from anywhere. I was sure he existed, though. StarClan wouldn't show him to me if he did not.
A wail of despair came from outside the den. I went out and saw a stranger, a she-cat, rush into the camp. Cats swarmed her, ready to attack her if she was hostile. But I saw tears streaming down her face.
"Wait, stop!" I yelled at the cats who gathered around her. They let me through to her. Horsethunder and Hawkheart were both out on patrol, so I sent the nearest two warriors to go find them. Then I addressed the stranger.
"Why do you come to our clan? What do you want?"
She stopped crying long enough to answer. "I come from StoneClan. Our territory flooded, and there are few survivors. My son and I, and three others. We were trying to rebuild after the water subsided. A cat jumped out of the bushes, grabbed Bladekit, and ran off with him!" She started crying again, then continued to tell the story. "We followed her, but lost her scent near here. Please help me!" she wept.
"Silverrain, Cindershade," I said to the other warriors who were present. "Are you coming?" They nodded. "Then let's go." Before leaving I went to Leopardpaw. "When Hawkheart and Horsethunder get back, tell them where we went and what's happening. OK?" she nodded too.
As I left camp after Silverrain and Cindershade, a horrible thought popped into my head, and I knew that my dream was coming true. And as we approached a clearing, where the stranger was leading us, I knew who I would find there. Her words were the same as they had been in my dream that first night.
"Hello sister, haven't seen you in a while."
Roseblood.

I guess I'd learned my lesson about sneaking out from camp, but I still wish I could!! I want to hunt to help the clan but I still have to wait 1 1/2 moons!! I watched as a weird cat and her kits came crying into our camp, and as Thornpelt and Cindershade went with them. "Who are they?!" I asked Leopardpaw.

"I don't know," I say, holding her back with her tail so she won't bound gaily right into the midst of the unknown warriors.
There, I posted.

Again, I feel like I'm talking to myself. Thank you for posting, Moonkit! :)
Thornpelt:
Under the bushes, a light brown tom-kit lay bleeding. Three cats already surrounded Roseblood, presumably the survivors of StoneClan. Our arrival brought four more. Roseblood saw that she was hopelessly out numbered, and ran off. But not before winking at me. This whole thing had purely been for me to see that she was still around and waiting for revenge. We took the kit to camp, along with the other strangers. Horsethunder and Hawkheart were waiting for us.
"What's happened?" Hawkheart asked. I left the others to explain, dragging the kit- Bladekit, his mother had said- into mine and Starpaw's den. We stopped the bleeding and gave him herbs to ease any pain.
A couple hours later we heard the call for a gathering. We left the den to see the four StoneClan cats atop Tall Stone with Horsethunder. Were they going to accept them into the clan after such a short time? I smiled slightly. Our leader and deputy had kind hearts, but kind enough to accept strangers into our clan? Even as I thought it I knew the answer. Yes.
"These cats now have no clan. We have decided to bring them into ours." Horsethunder announced. "This is Yarrowclaw," Bladekit's mother stepped forward, her pale brown fur glistening. "Streampelt," the other she-cat stepped up. She had about the same coloring as Cindershade. "Fernpaw," a tom-cat, probably about 8 or 9 moons, with dark brown fur. "And Eaglefur." an older tom, almost old enough to be considered an elder, with golden fur. As he turned toward me, I noticed that he had one blind eye. It looked like a small moon. It scared me a little, for some reason I couldn't understand. As the gathering ended and everyone went back to their duties, I couldn't help but feel like that eye was still watching me, with it's non-seeing stare. I turned, but Eaglefur was no where to be found. I shrugged off the feeling and went to check on Bladekit.

I watched the clan meeting and as the strangers were so quickly accepted into our clan. Finally there was another kit, Bladekit who was close to my age!

Thank you for posting that little thing, Leopardpaw (and thanks again to Moonkit, too). I wish everyone else would try to keep this thread going too, though! :(

Thornpelt--
It had now been about half a moon since the strangers from StoneClan had come to us.
Bladekit had healed quickly, and the other cats from StoneClan had been welcomed by our clan. Streampelt turned out to be a medicine cat, so she now helped me and Starpaw in our den. Eaglefur was a warrior, and had now become Fernpaw's mentor, seeing as the apprentice's old mentor had been caught in the flood. Yarrowclaw was staying in the queens' den; we had recently learned that she was expecting kits.
The beast (and Roseblood) hadn't been seen in a while. We were beginning to think that the beast had moved on to other territory. I should have known that was too good to be true.
Spottedpaw and Cindershade saw it while training in the woods. It didn't see them, but we knew that the creature was still in NightClan territory. A couple of days later, Hawkheart saw it while on patrol. We were all scared that it would try to attack camp.
Moonkit and Blade kit were about the same age, and the two young cats got along wonderfully. They would play and wrestle on the ground. They were both very excited, and with good reason; in just a moon, they would get their apprentice names, and get mentors. Who would mentor them, though? We had such a small clan, I worried that we didn't have enough warriors. I had been a warrior in my younger years, so I knew how to fight as good as the others. And now that Streampelt was here........
I decided to ask Horsethunder and Hawkheart permission to hand over the medicine cat status and den to Streampelt and Starpaw, and become a mentor to one of the young apprentices next moon. Still thinking of my younger warrior years, I went to talk to the leader about my idea.

(Would it be okay if I roleplayed Bladekit too?)
I jumped and rolled around with Bladekit, as we did all the time. There was finally a Queen in our den, but sometimes she could get annoying with her constant "Be careful" and other sayings. :)
"Bladekit wanna go see if we can help Thornpelt collect herbs or something?? I wanna get out of camp!" I mewed.
"Yeah! Let's ask!" said Bladekit while running over at the same time.
I watched Bladekit run and jolted after him. I quickly took the lead and when he (?) caught up I boasted about beating him. :) He was so fun to play with!

I settled down by the fresh-kill pile with a mouse and a contented sigh. As I ate I watched Moonkit and Bladekit run and play. It was very peaceful, but I still felt a sense of foreboding. They bounced up to Thornpelt, who looked exasperated, but led them toward the exit. I finished my mouse and trotted up to them. "Where are you off to? Can I come too?"
Thornpelt shrugged [[OOC - they use this a lot in the books, but seriously have you ever seen a cat shrug?????]] and meowed assent. A party of four, we left the camp.
"We're going to get some herbs!" squealed Bladekit.
"We're going herb-hunting, we're going herb-hunting, we're going herb-hunting!" sang Moonkit.
"I thought we'd try the clearing first, the one by the oak," said Thornpelt.
