A new warrior
A new warrior clan!!!!!
I have decided to start a new warrior clan, seeing as there is only one current one here for me to join. I would like to be a leader, but, as I haven't read any of the books yet, I am resorting to being a deputy. I am looking for a cat who is fit and healthy, has a good personality, and knows most (if not all) of the prophecies to lead my clan, protect my clan, and teach me how to be a leader. :) I am also looking for kits, apprentices for medicine cats and warriors, mentors, warriors, medicine cats, elders, and queens. Please join! Our clan is called Midnightclan (if anyone has a better name, please tell me it! This is the best name I could think of for now…). Here is my bio:
Name: Hawkheart
Pelt: Black with a white star on forehead
Eyes: Black
Age: Thirteen moons
Personality: Very calm and smart. A born leader but lets other, wiser cats lead when needed. Is not afraid to admit he's wrong. Organized and courageous. Kind and likes to learn. Very loyal to his clan.
Position: Deputy
Skills: Great warrior and leader. Has amazing senses
Gender: Male

Hunting skills: Hunts best at night, can see well in the dark, can sneak quietly anywhere, and (please tell me if this is a good quality or not) can become invisible if needed.

Posotion: medicine cat
skills: can communicate easily with StarClan.

I had a vision from starclan last night! :| they gave me a very ominous sounding prophecy. Here it is:
Four with claws of iron strength,
From a clan as black as night,
Go forth to slay a frightening beast,
With eyes full of fiery light.

My younger sister wants to join your clan too. She is only six moons so technically still a kit, but she really wants to be an apprentice. :) Here is her warrior info:

Age: 6 moons
Pelt: silver, with one black ear.
Eyes: blue
Skills: Fast runner, energetic, good fighter.
Position: kit right now, warrior hopefully in the future.

Name: Silverrain
Pelt: White that looks silver in the moon light and has some light brown spots and one ear is brown
Eyes: Blue
Age: I don't know actually because it seems that you can't do certain things at certain ages... What's a good age?
Personality: Quiet but fierce and harsh at times. Is extremely good at planning things. Doesn't always follow the rules.
Position: Which positions are there?
Skills: Limber and climbs well. Can sneak up on an enemy easily. A fierce warrior.
Gender: Female
History: She is found half dead in a bush in the dark forest.
Is this good??

@ Elizabeth M.-You can definitely join! Sorry I posted before I saw your comment, so I'll add you to my list. Ummm..I'm not sure either what age you should be. I know that you have to be six moons to be an apprentice, and I think younger than that is a kit. For me, I just skipped that part. :-) Can any experienced cats answer this? Here are the positions (I copied it off of another thread):
There are 8 places in warriors in a clan: Kit, Apprentice, Mentor/warrior, elder, queen, medicine cat, leader, and deputy.
Kit- A newborn cat.
Apprentice- Must be at least 6 moons to be an apprentice, a warrior mentors you and you learn how to be a warrior. Sometimes the medicine cat has an apprentice and they teach them how to be a medicine cat instead of a warrior.
Mentore/Warrior- A mentor teaches an apprentice the ways of the clan and how to be a warrior. A warrior gets food for the clan, fights for the clan, etc., etc.
Elder- A retired warrior who can no longer fight or hunt well. The reasons why you become an elder would be an injury that prevents you from doing things, or old age.
Queen- A she-cat who is either pregnant with kits, or mothering kits.
Medicine Cat- Basically a cat doctor. The medicine cat uses herbs to heal the cats in their clan only.
Leader- The leader of the clan. The leader makes all the important decisions, mostly knows all the prophecies, and leads the clan into battle against other clans if needed. The leader must be fit and healthy, and have a good personality to lead the clan. If the leader gets sick the deputy does most of the jobs. Except generally leading the clan. The leader also gets 9 lives. (only the leader) The only way to stop being a leader is to die.
Deputy- The leader's deputy is its helper. The deputy organizes all the patrols, all the hunting parties, and decides with the leader who will go to gatherings. (A gathering is when the 4 clans meet in the forest to discuss what's happening in their clans.) The deputy succeeds the leader when they die or retire. The only way to stop being a deputy is to die or to retire. (I guess you could step down and not retire, but it's never been done before.)
There is only one Leader and Deputy, but there can be more than one of anything else. Thanks SO much for joining!

Who are you? Why do you look so hurt and sick? Are you okay?! Moonkit jumped all around the new cat who was carried in by Hawkheart. Should I get the medicine cat? *Runs off to get her without an answer*
Just so everyone knows, Moonkit is actually really helpful despite being somewhat annoying at times with her questions.
@Elizabeth M. a good age would be around 12 moons so you can be a warrior and eventually have an apprentice. And that looked good!

Just so everyone knows, I copied that off another warrior clan thread from a while ago. :-) Does anyone know what vigil means???

Our leader, Horsestar, has not posted for a while. He has disappeared for a while, and I'm not sure when he will be back. Is it okay with all cats if I am the leader? At least until Horsestar returns. I am actually the deputy, (since I've never read the books before) but for now, I am the "vice leader", if that's okay with you all. :-) Here is my list of cats that are in our clan, their positions, and who they are:
Hawkheart, deputy/leader, Princess P.
Horsestar, leader, ZB
Cindershade, warrior, Sam
Spottedpaw, warrior apprentice, Princess P.

Vigil means watch, as in keep watch to guard against dangers.

Ok, Silverrain will have just turned thirteen moons and is made a warrior later.
Silverrain-
I was running fast as the rain drench my white fur making me shiver frantically. The animal behind me had disappeared for a moment. I slowed, trying to find a place for my aching self to rest. The long deep gash along my back was dripping with blood but I kept licking it to make the blood subside.
I heard a growl behind me and saw the sharp green eyes of that odd unknown creature. I tried to flee but I was too tired. I would have to use my last strength to fight off this awful beast. I let a sort of growl out of my throat, warning the beast that if he didn’t go he would get it. The creature didn’t move. His body just tensed.
I pounced and my leg muscles let me onto his back. I scratched and cut at him, attempting to make him hurt. The creature through me off his dark back, growling again.
He grabbed for me but I climbed up the nearest tree and sprang from there. He moved and dodged my venture to kill him. I landed harshly on my paws. I made a small indication by wincing slightly but then I turned to my opponent again.
A roar. He advanced once more. I wanted him to go, to disappear but I knew that all my wishing wouldn’t make him go.
I scraped and clawed as our bloody battle went on. I scratched him on the face, he yowled. He went down the wound on my back again. I let out a yowl.
Snarling I pounced and took out my weapon that I’d been saving for the end.
My pearly razor-sharp teeth bit his wet nose and he bayed in pain. Then I nipped at his paws and ran in under his legs. My small body fit perfectly under his stomach. I grazed his skin where it wasn’t covered by coarse fur. Drops of blood, dripped onto my face.
The creature gave up after more of my torture and went shrieking away. The rain was still pouring and I limped to the nearest bush and lay down under it.
I was soaked in blood, sweat, and rain as I fell into an uneasy sleep.

Welcome, Kim A.! Or can I just call you Kim? We don't have any other Kims here, as far as I know...Yes, you may be the medicine cat. We don't have any other medicine cats, and no one else has asked for that position. Do you want Starkit/Starpaw to be your apprentice? You can ask her if she would like that. Great post, Moonkit!

I slipped out of camp unnoticed, no one really paid much attention to me since I was the only kit and had no mother. I wanted to go out and hunt for the clan. I know I wasn't supposed to being only a kit, but I knew how to and was probably better than those apprentices anyway! As soon as I was out I instantly heard fighting and snuck over to see what was going on. By the time I got there the fighting was over but I could smell a cat. From our clan. Silverrain!! I raced to find her and make sure she was okay. "Silverrain!" I frantically yelled her name until I found her under a bush. "I'll get you help!!" I yelled and jumped back to camp to alert Hawkheart and Horsestar.
