Has anyone seen Star Trek The Next Generation? I LOVE it!!! my mom is a Trekie and bought all the seasons, and I've been watching them nonstop every spare minute I have! My favorite characters are Lt. Commander Data, Commander First Officer William Riker, Counselor Deanna Troi, and, of course, Captain Jean-Luc Picard. Well, to be frank, I love everyone! What is your favorite species? I think my favorite is... I don't know, I'm fine with everyone, except the Borg.

Dear Elizabeth,
It's a birth defect. Geordi was born blind. He recieved his first VISOR when he was five. VISOR is acronym for Visual Instrument and Sensory Organ. It doesn't see things the same way human eyes do. VISOR users are able to see in the infared and ultraviolet ranges and more. This could seem disorienting to human eyes. Great Question!
