Star Wars thread!! particularly the animated series (Clone Wars, Bad Batch, Rebels, etc.) but you can talk about the movies too :)
to start, I'll give the ultimate question: opinions on episodes 7, 8, 9. unpopular opinion but I personally think they're... eugh. idk. I don't hate people for liking them, but to me they just have a very weak plot and the characters hardly have any development. but I'm open to hear others' views on them.
oh, and also, WOOT WOOT, where are my Bad Batch fans?? I finished it a few weeks ago and I loved it so much that I started it AGAIN. I'm already in season 3 D: my dad asked me what I'm going to do when I finish it again and I said, "...cry. then start it again :)". shh who says I'm obsessed?

By episodes 7, 8, and 9 do you mean the movies? My mom refuses to acknowledge that the third one exists and doesn’t really like the first two. My favorite animated series is Rebels, and we started watching the new Ahsoka series when it came out.

yeah, I meant the movies :) Rebels is so good!! so much more intense in the end than it seems to be at first.

If u mean 7 8 and 9 of the movies, I personally love them, because they have more female characters who can actually do things and aren't helpless and there are actually some funny parts? Which there aren't in the first 6, at least not that I can remember.

I agree. I LOVE Ray. 2 is the worst because of all the romance between Anniken and Whats-her-face. Finn and Poe are funny. I like Clone Wars and Rogue 1. 3 is the only one I haven't ever rewatched. Of the original 3 (episodes 4, 5 and 6) I like 6 best. Mostly because Darth Vader turns back to Anniken. (Is that spelled right?)

it's spelled Anakin :) and yeah, I can see where the romance between him and Padme can be a little cringy, but you have to give it a little grace because he was going a little cuckoo at the same time.

I got into Star Wars through the animated TV shows, but I have seen some of the movies! I couldn't really get into the movies because they were hard for me to follow, but I'm going to rewatch them now that I have the context from the TV shows.
I've watched pretty much all of the shows from Star Wars, including the main three animated ones (as well as Visions, which is so underrated) and the main live action ones.
I haven't seen episodes 7, 8, or 9 but I have heard that they are pretty disliked. However, I'm going to give them a chance before I form my own opinion. Of the movies I've seen, I remember liking Rogue One the best. It's hard to choose a favorite animated series because I love them all!
Got any favorite characters? I love Ahsoka, Hera, Rex (pretty much all of the clones actually), and Omega. I also really like Senator Riyo Chuchi.
I love The Bad Batch and I'm so sad it's over! I wonder what the next animated series will be…

This is my first time in the chatterbox and I'm so excited!
My family and I love star wars . I especially like the TV series. As for episodes 7,8,and9 they are kinda what got me into Star Wars. I mean they came out when I was younger and Rey was /kinda is my favorite character so I don't hate them. I just wish some things were better written than they are. Also I've seen bad batch and I miss that fictional family so much! what do y'all think about the end of TBB?

Oh I forgot! My favorite characters are Ahsoka,k2so,Jyn erso,the ghost crew (especially Sabine), The Mandolorian(I think I spelled that right) and his adorable baby Grogu, and last but not least all the clones (especially Tech, Omega, Gregor,and Rex). Sorry that's a lot, I just really like star wars! ;P
Also has anyone seen Tales of the Jedi or Tales of the Empire?

I miss my Dad Batch SO MUCH!! they're all just so precious to me. I'm super sad recently though, because I'm five episodes away from the finale (again) *soft crying*
I started Tales of the Jedi with my dad and brother--I think we've watched the first four episodes?? it's really good! I love the Dooku background, as well as Qui-Gon getting a little love.

Yeah I enjoyed tales of the Jedi and liked seeing some Yadala , Dooku, Qui-Gon stuff since we didn't know a lot about them. My siblings and I have been going through the Clone Wars series to lead up (again) to the Bad Batch. It's gonna take awhile. Lol ;)
And are y'all ready for Acolyte? I'm super excited!

yeah... I just recently finished the Bad Batch for the second time, and I'm considering starting to rewatch the Clone Wars and then Bad Batch again. shhh who says I'm obsessed shhh
I'm not too sure about the Acolyte (haven't really figured out what it's supposed to be about yet and it looks a little complicated) but my interest is definitely peaked.

I think acolyte is supposed to take place before clone wars .Maybe even farther?( and don't worry I not obsessed either shhhh) ||| (•-||| Who is your favorite bad batcher? I have a hard time cuz I love them all but if I had to chose probably Omega, and *sniffle* Tech :`(

Ok y'all, who all has watched acolyte? I have and I'm enjoying it so far. I don't want to say to much cuz I don't want to spoil anything. I like the marshall arts type of fighting, really dynamic. And I figured out it takes place 100 years before Phantom Menace. So let the nerding commence! ;)

UGHH favorites are so hard! I love them all individually for their own reasons... but if I was forced to choose, probably Crosshair. he has such an amazing character development arc and just... yeah. he's so well-written.
