Hey artists, are any of you doing Inktober? If you didn't know what it is, it's basically just a challenge where you make one ink drawing every day for all of October. I'm so excited for this year, it will be my first year doing it. Here's a place to post your drawings, inspirations, etc.!

AHHHH. My water bottle opened in my backpack yesterday and my sketchbook is completely soaked and possibly ruined! It's currently in our dean's office drying out, but as soon as I get it back I'll post the drawings I've done (that is, if they're not mangled beyond recognition...).

O.O Wow. That's unfortunate. I'm so sorry! That's awful. I spilled water on one of my favorite books and a bit on a sketchbook once, but never completely soaked one. I do know how it feels though. I recommend putting paper or paper towels between soaked pages to help it dry.

Ooh. Not fun. I wonder what it's like to draw on water-damaged paper... That actually might produce some interesting stuff.

So, um... *clears throat* I don't have a Day 20. I spent all my free time sketching and watching videos. (Is it just me, or is it really hot in here?) I have plans and sketches, but no finished ink drawing. So... Forgive me, gods of art and deadlines and all you CBers. I have failed you. *retreats*

No problemo! I always end up totally procrastinating and then doing, like, 5 in a day. XD I don't think it matters that much, as long as you stretch your skills and end up with 31.

P.S. For y'all who are wondering why I just sort of popped up on this thread, I actually have been doing Inktober and looking at everyone's drawings on this thread. I just never post any of my sketches. ~SS

I've drawn Kaz Brekker from the Six of Crows duology! I had a lot of fun doing the layers of black clothes on my drawing of the Darkling (which I'll post as soon as I get my sketchbook returned), so I decided to give it another go. I think his coat was ultimately super successful, despite a few goof-ups, and I want to draw a full body version of him later on. I did grievously mess up on his hair though... yikes.

Here's day 21. I stayed up way too late last night doing this. It was fun, though, so that's something. Funny how perfectly it fits today's prompt, trail, even though I started it for the prompt mysterious... I think I'll do something based on yesterday's prompt for today, then. Furious... Yeah, I can do that. Probably.

Sorry I could not post Day 20. By the time I finished it it was so late since I procrastinated for a long time, and then we left the next day to go to the FOB concert !!!!!! Ahhh! So anyway, here is day 20. I was trying to do line shading kind of like Viola's cats, but it did not turn out like I wanted it to :/
