Hey artists, are any of you doing Inktober? If you didn't know what it is, it's basically just a challenge where you make one ink drawing every day for all of October. I'm so excited for this year, it will be my first year doing it. Here's a place to post your drawings, inspirations, etc.!

YES! Inktober! We have it as an optional assignment for my art class, and I am going to do it. Because of my schedule, however, I I'm going to have to do one ink drawing a week. I'm going to do it though!

I'm going to try to do it! I may end up only doing a drawing per week since I'm very busy, but we'll see how things play out. :) Between Inktober and NaNo, I'm going to have quite the creative fall...

I've never heard of Inktober, but it sounds awesome! I'd like to try it, but I might only get to do one drawing a week, considering that I'm pretty busy these days.

My usual gel pens count as ink, right? Because if so, I'm definitely doing this. I would probably end up kind of unofficially doing it anyway, but yeah.

Yes! Just anything with ink. If you look up inktober the first thing that pops up is the official website.

Day one! This is a micron pen drawing (I also used gold paint and watercolor) of this story idea I've sorta been thinking about- a hidden aviary for magical birds in some city, because I love birds and witchy stuff... expect to see a lot of that this month!

Sounds like a great idea Bluebird! But did you forget the pic? It didn't show up. Here's my first drawing for Inktober! It's nit really my best work, and I was a little disappointed myself, but it was with pen, so I'm hoping for better results tomrorrow.

If you go to the website, it has the "official 2017 prompt list". It is fun to go along with those, but you don't have to at all. Here's my day one!
