Six Word Stories!

Chatterbox: Pudding's Place

Six Word Stories!

Six Word Stories!

~~~
Hemingway once came up with a challenge to tell a story in six words. I think it's a great creativity exercise, so let's see what you come up with!
His example is, "For sale: Baby shoes, never worn."
Read it again.
Doesn't it give you chills?
My real life is really boring
They married. She divorced. He stared
She fell down a deep well
They dated. He kissed someone else.
He was scarred permanently for life
They couldn't get rid of mosquitoes
Why do politicians lie so much?
Over the river in New Jersey
Because everything is legal in Jersey
Who can guess where this quote came from?
Here are some more! They are totally unrelated!
-Hearts were broken with no mercy.
-Their love was different, but beautiful.
-The creepy person eavesdropped very creepily.
-Books are my home, my haven.
These are fun!
These are really cool. Most of mine are super depressing.
The mother died. The child lived.
They met. They hated. They loved.
At least they had each other.
He had died. She was grieving.
She would learn to fight them.
He was the last to die.
The moon was her only friend.
Her friends are flowers. Beautifully unhelpful.
Running will do them no good.
I'm so obsessed with Wings of Fire that I made this entire thing about Darkstalker! It kinda tells his story. It's called "A forbidden love; a darkened dragonet".
A forbidden love; a darkened dragonet
Met at sunset on diplomat's day.
Fell in love and changed Pyrrhia.
He would do anything for her.
They ran away, under darkness's cover.
Few years later, a dragonet born.
Born of Ice and Night, Darkstalker.
Sweet, kind, and cunning was he.
Met his love through future's visions.
Grew, then to school, excelled ahead.
Found Clearsight during game of marbles.
Garden on fire... so he thought.
Smitten at first laugh, first smile.
Then Foeslayer taken, world fell apart.
Nurtured hidden darkness, Fathom brought healing.
Hated Indigo, so he enchanted her.
Fathom devastated, Darkstalker pleased, Clearsight puzzled.
Cursed moonstones he gave to her.
Brought Clearsight's powers to an end.
Queen not trusting anymore, assassination attempt.
Darkstalker furious, goes after the queen.
Stopped by Clearsight and Fathom's thinking.
Put to sleep for thousand moons.
Copper wires, silver teardrops, hidden scroll.
Until one day... an earthquake hits...
and the fearsome Darkstalker awakens.
So, yeah. I may be slightly obsessed with Wings of Fire, but... it's a cool many-6-words-stanza poem! (slash saga!)
Awesome! I loved the depth in Darkstalker's story. I read the whole thing in one day!
The cat sleeps, mouth hanging open.
His fur is silvery and smooth.
He is a striped gray lion..
Resting in the late afternoon light.
@Silverwaxwing
You wrote "she created worlds with her hands". I think this is so cool! Can I use it as inspiration for a book I'm writing? Please?
And this idea is so cool, Mei!!! We did these in school. An example we had was:
"Paramedic finished her text "love you...""
It's kind of creepy if you read it carefully!
I'm not very good at short sentences, but I'll see what I can do.
The last day,  good, I'm done.
How to; only do my way.
Let us ignite the passionate fury.
