ART POSTING
(Subject not going through....Third time's the charm...??)
Art stuff thread starting...NOW! If you draw stuff, you can post it here! I draw in a sort of anime/manga/toon style, but if you don't, don't let that stop you from posting your stuff! I would love to see other people's art so post away! They can be OCs, fan art, or just random stuff. You can use any media, including digital, like I do! Just to let you chatterboxers know, I started this thread so we can share our tricks of the trade with each other. Feel free to: ask questions about how to draw certain things, post techniques, share art, and mostly HAVE FUN! If you draw your OCs, feel free to share information about them such as their names and that sort of thing. Same goes for fan art since not all of us know where these characters are from. You don't have to be polished with your art. I myself am just a beginner at anime/manga/toon. I'm not good at hands so if any of my hands looks particularly cruddy, you know why. I also struggle sometimes with feet so same goes for that. If any of you know how to draw a particularly good hand or foot, feel free to share your trick for it.
Going to post a picture of my OC, Tuxedo, if this post goes through okay.

@Possibly I think I’ve been doing Sunday Cyborgs for about a month now? Idk tho.

Waiiiit that isn't the Boston Museum of Science, is it? They have lots of little models of ships just like that and plaques that look like that, too.

@Leafy, nope! This is actually from my trip to Taiwan. My Grandfather took us to a navy museam.

Yep it is! Alot of my OCs are penguins from a game I play.

@Aqua Wow, that's good! You are SUCH a great artist, I wish I was that good. I'm glad you found a good art program, it looks great in that picture!
@Alex Aww, is that a penguin? It's so cute!
@Leafy Wow, I love that! I really like how fluid the poses are! Like Kitten said, it's hard to draw limbs with shape, and you did really well!
@Eclipse Those are really cool! I've never seen magnetic beads before, but they look pretty awesome.
@Alizarine That is so cool! It looks kinda mysterious. I love it!
So here's something I'm SUPER proud of, it took two days XD It's my friend's OC Twig. My friend described Twig as having stars in her fur, and I was like OH MAN I SHOULD DO THIS DIGITALLY! And then I remembered that I'm bad at digital art... BUT I DID IT ANYWAY! I am SO proud of how this turned out!
Chance says tipoe. Tiptoe? Chance, you're a dog, you can't tiptoe.

Agent Winter WOW! That's incredible! You really must have put a lot of work into that!
(February 3, 2020 - 5:15 pm)
That looks absolutely fantastic! I love the stars, they look great.

CHINCHILLA!!! It's been forever!
It's unsuspectingstrytllr/Wiseowl- I went through a few name changes.

Thanks guys! Also, welcome back Chilla!
Here's another one of my friend's OCs, which I drew today. Her name is Freckleleaf and she's a Warriors OC, and that's about all I know about the character. Photoshop is so fun to color with! Also sorry if this is sideways, I think it will be.

Very nice, AW!
Got any tips for drawing wings? I'm trying to draw a winged person but the feathers are so hard and the posturing is terrible.
(February 5, 2020 - 4:38 pm)
@Possibly When drawing wings, I often start with the basic shape of the wings, then make guidelines. Guidelines in this case would be evenly spaced bars that are the size you want each row of feathers to be, if that makes any sense. I could draw a tutorial if you want me to. Oh, and something one of my art teachers once told me is to add detail to both wings at the same rate so they don't look uneven. Like, don't finish one wing and make all the feathers super detailed, and then try to copy it on the second wing. And find a reference, too! That always helps for me. Also, remember the feathers are longer at the bottom of the wing and smaller/fluffier where the wings connect to the character. Hope these tips help, lmk if you want me to do a tutorial! (also, there's a good article online on how to draw different kinds of wings)

Thanks, that helps a lot!
