Art stuff thread starting...NOW! If you draw stuff, you can post it here! I draw in a sort of anime/manga/toon style, but if you don't, don't let that stop you from posting your stuff! I would love to see other people's art so post away! They can be OCs, fan art, or just random stuff. You can use any media, including digital, like I do! Just to let you chatterboxers know, I started this thread so we can share our tricks of the trade with each other. Feel free to: ask questions about how to draw certain things, post techniques, share art, and mostly HAVE FUN! If you draw your OCs, feel free to share information about them such as their names and that sort of thing. Same goes for fan art since not all of us know where these characters are from. You don't have to be polished with your art. I myself am just a beginner at anime/manga/toon. I'm not good at hands so if any of my hands looks particularly cruddy, you know why. I also struggle sometimes with feet so same goes for that. If any of you know how to draw a particularly good hand or foot, feel free to share your trick for it.

@Chinchilla, OMG CHINCHILLA! HI! I haven't seen you in a really long time, how have you been? (Where have you been? I remember a hiatus thread a long time ago but I didn't think you'd be gone that long....) I love all those dragons!

@September, that's a really good hand! Since everyone seems to be talking about hands, mine....are mostly just shapes that look faintly like cat paws. But hey, I only started drawing manga a couple months ago and I'm still struggling with legs and faces, so I figured hands are less important at the moment.

This is something I drew on my computer for a comic, but I had it on Google Photos so I screenshotted it and cropped it (I’m currently using my phone). I’m sorry that there is no shading; I’m usually too lazy to shade for my comics! I’ll post something else when I’m on my computer. I hope that none of it is cut off!
This is the mermaid version (AKA the new version) of my OC, which is also me (I’m not going to say the name because it is my real name).

Ahhhh, that's amazing, Cockleburr! The anatomy and positioning are so natural and graceful and realistic. Your art has improved so much since the first time I saw it, it's just incredible. Your talent never fails to astound me. Keep up the great work! :)

That's so cute, CL! I love the base color, how it's almost...ah, I don't know the word, but almost marbled. Mottled! That's it. And the textures are great! I really like how the yellow and blue compliment the beige. The positioning and ears are really cute. Great job!

I posted this a few pages back, and I'll do it again-- trying to get as many people as possible for variety. I've been considering making a collage to hang above my desk at home. That's where I hang everything that's important to me and that inspires me, and you guys certainly do that. I'd like permission from you guys to put your artwork in my collage. A few pages back, I discussed how i would give credit to you guys and stuff, and the Admins approved my plan. I'll copy/paste the posts below. So if you would like to be a part of this, I'd be honored to put your work in my collage. No matter what you guys think of your work, I think it's amazing and inspiring. :) Abi and Leeli have already given permission.

Hey, would you guys mind if I put some of your art in a collage? You guys always make me feel so inspired. I wouldn't say it was ever my own art, because, I mean, it's not. And I would credit you all on the back and stuff. If you don't want me to, let me know by replying to this post and saying that you don't want me to. (If you're worried that I don't like your art, put your mind to rest! I love all of your art-- the watercolors, pastels, sketches, Inktober drawings, all of it!) And if you are okay with it, also let me know. If you don't say anything I'll just err on the side of caution and not use any of yours. (Admins, is this okay if I credit them, get their approval first, and never say it's my own work?)
What would you do with the collage? I would think that just posting it on Chatterbox with permission of and credit to the artists would be OK. I'm not sure about other uses though.

If I were to make a collage, I would first put it on the CB to make certain that all the artists are okay with what I have done, then I would probably hang it above my desk. It's where I do most of my art and it's also where I hang things that inspire me, like all of their drawings.
Yes, that sounds like a good plan to post the collage on CB and display it at your desk. Everyone's art here is indeed very inspiring!
