Art stuff thread starting...NOW! If you draw stuff, you can post it here! I draw in a sort of anime/manga/toon style, but if you don't, don't let that stop you from posting your stuff! I would love to see other people's art so post away! They can be OCs, fan art, or just random stuff. You can use any media, including digital, like I do! Just to let you chatterboxers know, I started this thread so we can share our tricks of the trade with each other. Feel free to: ask questions about how to draw certain things, post techniques, share art, and mostly HAVE FUN! If you draw your OCs, feel free to share information about them such as their names and that sort of thing. Same goes for fan art since not all of us know where these characters are from. You don't have to be polished with your art. I myself am just a beginner at anime/manga/toon. I'm not good at hands so if any of my hands looks particularly cruddy, you know why. I also struggle sometimes with feet so same goes for that. If any of you know how to draw a particularly good hand or foot, feel free to share your trick for it.

@Shoshannah, That's such handsome handwriting! I love how it looks. Wait, are you doing a lot of caligraphy stuff like that? Just because I've always like calligraphy (Even though I don't do it) and it would be cool if you posted more of it.
Actually, you might already have posted some stuff, but I'd still love to see more of it.

Thanks! I don't do calligraphy in a formal way, I just have a way of going over what I've written to make some of the lines thicker. I want to learn regular calligraphy but the pens I got were already dried out and I couldn't exchange them :/. So I still have to get more. That's the first time I've posted it here, but I'll show more how I do it later.
Your line-art-i-don't-know-what-to-call-it is fantastic, by the way! It's impressive how it captures the form and proportions, even the emotions, without going into much detail. How did you develop that style? I'd love to see more!

And I painted this last night. At first I just drew the tall purple flower but then I liked how it looked and liked the colors I could make by randomly mixing my red and purple watercolors; so I just painted a bunch of other stuff.

@Shhhhh not telling...., I'm fine with you using my artwork in a collage, that would be really cool. First I didn't answer your post because, um, I usually don't post my artwork, but if you ever want to use my artwork for the collage, I'd be fine with it. Just please don't post it anywhere else, if that's good with you.
Hmmmm..... actually, my photography isn't especially good for my pictures.... maybe I should brush up on that a little bit.

Fabulous! The more CBers, the better. I love your dragons too! And of course I wouldn't put your art anywhere but on my collage. I respect other people and their wishes. (Does that sound accusatory? I didn't mean it to be... What I do mean is thanks for the permission!)

Okay, I watched Balto, and then I loved the style that the animals were drawn in and tried to copy that, then I think I just looked at a lot of artwork and drew really fast....
I know, noooot really a lot of science to it =P.
But I think I was inspired by a lot of angular and slightly anime drawing styles, and I still love to see anime, especially the type that seems to alive while at the same time keeping a level of realism. I hope to someday be able to draw in that style.
Yeah, it's very hard to find good calligraphy pens, but probably in an art store you might find some nice ones. =)
