Any other mages-in-traini
Any other mages-in-training around? Wizard apprentices? Sorceress helpers? Greetings from the Aftermoor Woods and yulve (magic be with you) to those who are also of the spell trade. I am Grace X, youngest make-in-training of the Aftermoor Woods. Honestly, I'm a bit unfamiliar to the surrounding and you have probably never ventured past the Old Alchemist's gate which serves as the entrance to the Dehlum Spell Trade Academy. Because of this, I'll start off.
~Grace
"Too much Isle Inscene," Wizard Jeynsu reports as he walks through the tables of Quiiun(learners of spell trade). "You need to work on perfect measurements Aviear. Being a wizard requires precision. Eva, work on the swirls. You need to put your emotion into your creation. I can tell that you are bored. Yesmin, your woodwork is getting shavings all over the floor. Use your magic abilities to clean up. And Grace," I look up, waiting expectantly for advice and willing to receive it. "Good job." Wizard Jeynsu's frosty blue eyes turn a warm carmel brown. A curse, some may call it, to always show your emotions, but the color washes over me like warm sunshine. I smile at him, and return to the art of vine riddles.
Well that's it from me. Except for a few nessecary tips. Stay away from Devlin Werpose. She can exploit your secrets faster than you can say aevvon sen wuerdo (deceived and tricked). And don't eat the year old pastries in the cafeteria or you might lose forteen of your teeth like Sorceress Lyzne. Also, don't trust anything Weston Pierce says, he's currently under a say the opposite spell. So with that, I'll just sign off. Yulve sen insa ozyu! [magic be with you and reading continue]

"Sure," I reply. "First stop, Head Wizard's office."
"Ok," Mark says, looking around. "Which way do we go?" I laugh, and then stop, because Mark's expression is a bit hurt.
"Sorry, it's just that we can't get to Wizard Caster's office by walking, the only way we can get there is magic!" I pull my wand from my robe. "Quiiun upref wes!"
(May 3, 2017 - 10:03 am)
"Do I- do I need a wand?" I ask. I wasn't told what to pack. All I have are the clothes on my back and- well, and the clothes on my back. We were practically dirt poor on the farm.
"We'll get to that later," says Grace, brushing off the question like an annoying insect.
"Okay."
"Don't worry, I'll do the magic part for you."
I nod and we begin to soar upward.

Mark, still looking dubious at the aspect of magic, asks, "Do we fly all the time?"
"Nope!" I respond cheerfully. "Sometimes we teleport." I grin at Mark's expression. "Don't worry. We usually walk, not all of us are used to being pin the air. Especially the water manipulators." As I finish speaking we come to the Head Wizard's office. "Here we are."
sorry I took so long.

I walk up to the Old Alchemist's Gate. The academy sprawls before me, a huge complex of swirling colors and lights. I hear distant calls of spells, and whispers permeate the air.
An apparation appears before me. I jump back as the shimmering lady smiles.
"Welcome to the Dehlum Spell Trade Academy." Her voice is high and kind yet rather flat, as if she ahd said these words a million times. "My name is Evi, director of communication. If you are an already enrolled student, please continue to your class. If you are a parent of one of our students, please direct yourself to the visitors office to your left."
She pointed to a small building perched next to a bubbling spring. Then she continued.
"If you are a new student, please go through the gate and to the atrium on your right. There, Madame EvenGale will help you."
Her image shimmered and faded, leaving me alone. After glancing around, I opened the old gate and stepped into the school grounds.
I followed a stone path down a small hill. Words formed in silver letters below my feet, shifting with me as I walked.
Hello Kaiota and welcome to the Academy. The words followed me before fading. The buildings around me echoed with various strange noises and sounds. One to my left resonated with the cacophony of birds screeching.
I reached a fork in the path and turned right towards the atrium. I opened the door and stepped through.
A lady immediately walked up to me.
"Hello," she said. "I'm Madame EvenGale. Who are you?"
"I'm Kaiota Kimikana. I'm new."

I'm sorry if I was taking control of how entering students were supposed to enter. If this isn't what happens, feel free to change it.

Mark~
We fly up, and I see a grand tower with an open window. Grace diects us through the window, into what must be the Headmaster's office. It's a beautiful room, the ceiling intricately painted in all sorts of beautiful designs. I spotted a firebird, unicorn, and will-o-the-wisp amongst the magical creatures on the walls. The entire room was like an art gallery was fit onto a single wall. A magcal art gallery. I watched as the creatures on the walls moved, interacting with one another, eating the painted-on plants, snorting and whinnying and prancing about.
"They aren't actually paintings, you know," Grace said, noticing my stare, "They've been spelled into there. There's an entire world behind that wall, you just have to know how to get there."
"Do you?" I asked in amazement.
"Maybe," She gigled, "But I'm not telling you. Not yet."
Just then, I heard another voice speak. The voice of an older woman.
"Hello there. You must be Mark Crossman."

The secretary, Sorceress Verna, smallest at Mark. I wave and she notices me. "I see Grace has been introduced to you. Well now, run along Grace. I know you need to get to class. Mark dear, come with me." I give Mark an encouraging smile, even though the water flowers in the magic pond are absolutely distressed. Hm, mabye his magic mirrors his emotions?
"Bye!" I call. "Hope you find out what kind of spell trade you do!"
On my way to class, I ran into Devling Werpose. I tried a smile. "Bren con Devlin!" I said. She sniffed.
"Bren con loser."
Oh well, I tried.

just a quick note, wizards are always males and sorceresses are females. Yulve sen insa ozyu!

Mark-
"Am I in trouble, m'am?" I ask once Grace leaves
"Of course not, Mark. Why would you think that?"
"Well, I'm just not quite sure what else could be important."
"There's the regular new student introduction I have to give everyone, of course. But with you, there are other things. For example, your powers."
"My powers?"
"Yes. They are remarkably, well, powerful. Few people- wizards especially- have powers as strong as yours. You see, the magic gene is already more common in young women than men. But there is rarely a boy that an rival a girl in the fight. You could not only have a fighting chance, but kill many of the young ladies at this academy. And you haven't even recieved any training."
"My power's abslutely useless! I just have a way with plants."
"if trained, you could be able to weaponize that ability. And who knows what other talents you have."
"I beg your pardon?"
"Most mages have one area they specialize in, something that's more powerful than the others, and are still able of performing other spells."
"I see. What about Grace X?"
"What of her?"
"How powerful is she?"
"Not that I think it's for you to know, but I like your attitude. So I'll tell you. She's more powerful than she knows."

The next morning, I ran into yet another new student, Kaiota. Not surprisingly, she's talking with Mark. New students tend to group. It happened when I was running, no I wasn't late(ok, maybe I was), to scrying class. My robes flying behind me and my books clutching in one arm. I accidentally toppled into someone. Ruva, the halls were packed that day. Actually, no surprise there. It was most people's free hour. I just wanted to stay in top of my lessons. Anyways, Kaiota happened to be the person I bumped into. "Oh caiun! I'm so sorry!"
"It's ok!" she said with a giggle.
"Grace?" a shocked voice asked from beside the girl.
"Hi Mark! Sorry, I was using my free hour to study and Sorceress Alethea doesn't like late comers." I said all in a breath, picking up my books and brushing the hair from my eyes.
"It's ok. This is Kaiota. She's a new student, like me."
"That's nice. Hey how did- Ruva! Look at the time! I've got to go! Have fun you guys! If you need anything I'm in dorm X-8!" With that, I rush off again.
