SOCS Costume Ball

SOCS Costume Ball

I'm making this thread because it was agreed that someone should. It's for the costume ball that's being held by the SOCS, possibly the SOCS Army. I believe those who may attend are those who are in or allied with the SOCS and those in the town(s) directly surrounding the location of the ball. A specific place was not decided on to my knowledge, so if anyone has any ideas for that, please post them here. The thread can also be used for planning, ball-related art, out-of-charrie discussions and of course, ball RPs.

I think that's it, so... Let the posting commence!

I burst out of the base, but all around there are just trees. But I have to go into them or I will be discovered. The Resistance is already on my trail.

I take the only gun I could sneak out and run into the forest.

The sun is about to set, but I can't stop or make a fire. They'll find me. So I climb up a tree and go as high as I can before stopping.

As I try to make myself comfortable, I think of everything that just happened.

Maybe if I had stayed behind, they wouldn't set a man hunt out on me. And where is Poe Allen? What is that cat's problem? And why does Shadow treat me like a baby? I mean, I am eleven, and I guess I didn't experience my childhood years like others did. But that was probably because of Headmistress Rigga- where is she now? Nobody ever met her, even me. Just her representitve that goes by her name. I heard one time from an older student that the real Headmistress was actually a SOCS scientist (Alissa? Want to be her?), and that she's lived undercover her whole life.

But as I think, I slowly drift off into sleep.

~~~~
My heart jumps as I wake to a small rustle and things talking.
I slowly sit up and look down.
The moonlight reflects the outline of-wait, not people-dogs?
Then one of them starts barking, setting off a reaction that causes the other dogs to bark. Those dogs will be the death of me.
I look at my gun. Five bullets.
I look down. Four dogs.
I take my aim and fire at all of them, and they all end up whirring, malfunctioning, and finally collapsing in a heap of metal on the ground.
But I have to go. They'll follow me because they heard the dogs.
So once again, I run. I run and run and run.
Is Elliot dead for real now?
Sorry if this sounded mean, I'm just wondering.
YES!
Sure!
I wake up in my bed, still drowsy from the serum I gave myself.
Right before they interviewed me, I injected myself with an antidote reversing the effects of the truth serum. I would get drowsy, but they would get nothing out of me. Just utter some ridiculous formulas, and I was good to go.
I slowly get up and walk towards the window. It's almost evening, and I almost jump when I see a bunch of soldiers crawling outside. I wonder if they're after Alexandria.
But my little star won't be so easily broken.
...What little star? Sorry, I'm just not sure what you mean.
I believe she's referring to me- in one of the latter posts made by Headmistress, she said I was the star of the Academy or something.
(CAPTCHA says xiii- 13? Isn't that the number that follows Shadow around everywhere?)
Thanks!
It is... The Captchas contain so many secrets these days. Mexi says wuhf, maybe like a dog saying woof, like the ones sent out to find you and Poe.
OK. Izzuan. I have some questions.
First of all, why do you think you can just storm in here and demand power?
Second of all, I thought that SailHaven was destroyed.
Third of all, where you ever on the SailHaven thread before?
I'm sorry if this sounded mean, but I am sick and tired of people coming in and demanding power, especially dictators. I think our group government works rather well.
This was not meant to offend any characters, or their authors. This is just what my charrie feels like. Also, Jake, was the lady you were talking about me?
I am the same person who did Elliot and Izzuan
Thought Izzuan was a girl. Sorry, to me it sounds like a girl name.
Trillian and I split up, her taking the airspace above the base, I taking the part above the forest. A group of soldiers seemed to have approached the doors to the base. Izzuan. I circled the forest, trying to spot any signs of movement. I watched a blond girl- Alexandria- escape into the forest. I didn't have time to track her down now, though. Then, out of the corner of my eye, I saw someone hiding in a tree in a clearing. Watching me.
I swooped down at high speed, trying to get to the figure as fast as I could. I approached the tree and relized that this person was not a spy or enemy soldier. He was someone I recognized. Jake.
Hello, Izzuan. Your name sounds like a girl's name to me, too.
My cell door opens. I turn towards the noise and see the girl with the metal arm and another scientist.
The girl, Sprocket I think, was grumbling about something.
"We have prisoners on the loose and you want me to look at a ten year old girl."
The scientists holds up her hand.
"Wait till you see the results," she said, handing her a paper.
Sprocket's eyes scan the paper, and slowly her eyes widen.
"You mean that-"
"Yes I do. She is a Motus Videre, an emotions reader. Only three have been documented, but there was a rumor that BIG was trying to create them. She must have been genetically modified, or just naturally born."
"Naturally born. They tested me already," I say.
Sprocket whips her head in my direction.
"What am I feeling?" she snaps.
"Anger. Shock. A bit of fear. Anxiety. A bit of sadness, but that might be meshed in with the shock," I reply.
"I don't have time for this," she says, moving towards the door. "Keep her here, but give her proper care. Don't treat her bad. I will talk to her later."
The scientist nods, then walks out.
I sigh and sit down on the bed.
