Thread Life & Death

Welcome to the thread of Life & Death, where we basically just meet up, try to figure out what's going on, and ask each other random questions that we've always wanted to know. Such as "Icy, what area of Kyngdom are you from?" "Claaws, how does a Dragon hug a wolf?" etc.

I have a few questions--

Viola, who is Lycealla really? Where does she live, and what species is she?

Claaws, why aren't you posting on the Power thread (the one with Caelani and the side affected squad)?

Moonshadow, where is Moonshadow currently, and how do guardians feel about the thing they are guarding?

Shadow, what is the official Death Origin Story?

Alexander, how did Elliot...go? Where did you....make him go....at? (kill)

And, last but not least--

Alexander R, where did you get healing crystals from?

I think Kyngdom is probably one universe in a multiverse, and therefore probably an alternate Earth. I don't know what the inhabitants call their planet, though. I also have no idea about anything else to do with it. I imagine Kyngdom to be a country in the northern hemisphere, although I'm not sure where or how big it is. Maybe Earth is smaller in this dimension, allowing for that range of climates, or maybe it's like Springfield, Oregon, which I know about from a YouTube video that was trying to pinpoint the Simpsons' Springfield. Kyngdom has similarly extraordinary versatility for its size. That was three words in a row that ended with the letter y. Reverse alliteration! I hold no vocabulary back in this post.

I think Kyngdom is High Fantasty, and therefore it own thing.

This is reminding me of another of my adventures. In a universe where people have robots and nuclear cars but don't have colored TV. then two countries "USA" and "China" nuked the world and people survived in underground vaults.

More unanwserable Kyngdom questions---

Why does BIG have to be in the story? Science doesn't really make that much of a difference to the story arc. (JK, but true)

Are the Power instruments indestructible, or do they reform after being broken? Wouldn't the Power have a chance to escape if that happened?

Do animals get the same careers as humans, or there some that animals can do better?

When did there stop being Kings in Kyngdom? It has been hinted at that there is now a democracy (or at least they're trying to have one...)

Is the only landmass on the planet Kyngdom? I had a theory that it's one large landmass with lots of ocean and islands, and the places where the North and South poles would be is wasteland, or as it would be called "the badlands"

I didn't know what High Fantasy was at first. #GoogleIsSenpai

High fantasy is defined as fantasy set in an alternative, fictional ("secondary") world, rather than "the real", or "primary" world. The secondary world is usually internally consistent, but its rules differ from those of the primary world.

So yep, it would be High fantasy.

Some people have raised questions about time period. It started out modern, and then started to veer towards medieval. I'm 50% sure that some, more human populated areas, are extremely modern, but other areas don't have access to all (note, I said 'all', they may have some.) modern technology and run like a medieval village would work.

Gared, you play Izzuan, right? Why does he have no respect for any of us in the Resistance? And if it's because we're young, why does he think Catastrophe is any better? Catastrophe is much younger than the oldest among us. He is said to be a boy king, a child. How is that preferable?

He is looking more at the older generals and soldiers Catastrophe has, and no, Catastrophe is not a child. He has no repect because the resistance ruined the power and influence SailHaven had.

So he's just mad because he wants to be OP and the Resistance is standing in his way?

No, he's mad because he wants SailHAven to be OP.

Wasn't Elliot techinically the one who destroyed it? He was the one who started the conflict, turned it over to Octavia, then finally destroyed it. Is that right?

Well, Alexander technicly destroyed it.

B.I.G is so important to the story, because the Powers & Catastrophe weren't originally planned to be center.

Also, B.I.G isn't just 'a group of scientists'--they don't believe that animals are sentient, and perform SEVERAL inhumane and cruel experiments on animals. They're pretty evil, and basically believe that all life besides humans isn't sentient and can be experimented on.
