Welcome to the thread of Life & Death, where we basically just meet up, try to figure out what's going on, and ask each other random questions that we've always wanted to know. Such as "Icy, what area of Kyngdom are you from?" "Claaws, how does a Dragon hug a wolf?" etc.
I have a few questions--
Viola, who is Lycealla really? Where does she live, and what species is she?
Claaws, why aren't you posting on the Power thread (the one with Caelani and the side affected squad)?
Moonshadow, where is Moonshadow currently, and how do guardians feel about the thing they are guarding?
Shadow, what is the official Death Origin Story?
Alexander, how did Elliot...go? Where did you....make him go....at? (kill)
And, last but not least--
Alexander R, where did you get healing crystals from?

Some SOCS members were just in a meeting with Rigga, although right now there's some controversy over what happened, and I have no idea where Catastrophe's army is.

Probably soon after Icy can get away from Catastrophe, whenever that turns out to be. I was planning on having Karune help Ronan escape, although I need to figure that out with Lilly first, but if she does, maybe she could help Icy and the Powers, too.

What is going on in Kyngdom right now? I'm really lost and confused because I haven't paid attention (dumb, yeah) but I wanna RP with all of you!
And Viola, it would be great if someone came to rescue Ronan! He ran off from Catastrophe, but he's lost, and also grieving because of the loss of his friend.

In response to your question, Jaaws possessed or partially possessed Xiaoyu, leading her to help Catastrophe capture Ayearth, Ecio and Caelani, who are now being held in some sort of dungeon by glass chains with hollow links full of Brazen Goo. Icy went to rescue them, but Catastrophe saw her and now either they're fighting or she's captured. Regena, co-Guardian of the Power of Hoof, has also been captured by Catastrophe and is in the same kind of chains as the Powers. The current whereabouts of Blazing Star, who has the real Power of Hoof, are unknown. In the meantime, Sailhaven has been (mostly) repaired and is back up in the air, and Sprocket, Rae, shadow, and some others are there with new charries Quill, Aviance, Connie and Vol, and are mostly looking for Leptomiris and Aya, who just destroyed at least part of a library. Lycaella and Nygrune are back at Lycaella's house for her dad's visit and were discussing a SOCS file he had when Whisp Elden arrived to deliver some books. Headmistress Rigga just held a meeting at Daisy's Diner, the aftermath of which is unclear and still being decided on. I think that's about it.

When/If the Resistance wins the war, will they make schools all across Kyngdom? Who will teach there? What will they teach? At the moment, the only schools that all of Kyngdom really knows about are the ones run by the SOCS and BIG, but those schools are biased against animals and any Resistance members.

Schools might be interesting, but maybe go more lax on the attendance minimum. I suppose anyone who's out of a job will apply, and they'd probably end up teaching a lot of history, plenty of science, some art and math, and possibly self-defense or some sort of hand-to-hand combat for gym. Other classes that come to mind are 4-H, Home ed, Health, language, music, and shop.

That sounds good! Sounds like Night Vale, too, kids having weapons at school and no one batting an eyelash. Wow, the more I think about it, the more it really is like Night Vale. Or that part of it, anyway.
