SailHaven
(I will do an explaination, then people can add to the story.)
SailHaven is my home city. It is a floating city, with a network of tunnels, allowing crime syndicates to evolve. The scientists there mostly develop implants, like blades in arms, or wearable tech, like monicles with lenses for seeing in the dark and stuff like that. I got exiled after creating blades that could be installed in arms, but they worked like a cat's claws, and could be hidden completely. After several assassinations, they had to punish me for making them.

Wait, what?
Here is my background. Also, don't be mad at me for being in a gang. It's my only chance of survival. I do kinda tend to make trouble for them. Ex: exposing our hide out. That's why we move around so much. You might say I do it accidentally on purpose.

Sophia, Wiseowl's story teller(and now Elisa's), here. I'm going to start using both characters now. Here goes.
~Elisa
I duck around the corner of the building just in time. The police race past, not seeing me. My wristband vibrates. It's Boss. Actually, he has us address him as Leader, but I like to get on his nerves. I sigh and receive the call.
Sorry, I have to actually go now. Mom calling.

Continuing The story. And, Action!
~Elisa
"Got any good stuff?" Boss asks. "Not yet Boss!" I say, masking my annoyance. Or at least I think. But Boss has added upgrades to my wristband. "I can feel your emotions," he laughs. "Your annoyance makes my day!" Great. I think. And he laughs harder. Just then, he stops. "Elisa," he whispers excitedly. "A huge package just fell down behind you! Get it!" I turn around and zoom toward it. Without thinking, I grab it (kind of heavy) and raced back to where no one can see me, totally ignoring the shouts of protest. I set down the package to examine it and realize it's an owl. "So what is it?" Boss says. "Well Boss-" I reply, only to be interrupted. "Don't call me Boss!" he shouts at me. I laugh. "Now I can fell your annoyance!" he glowers. I smile, and continue. "Anyway, it seems to be an owl." He scoffs. "What do they want with an owl?" "I don't know," I reply absentmindedly, lost in thought. His eyebrows (and his voice) raise. "No," he says, plain and simple. "You are not taking this bird in." I sigh. "Why not, Leader?" I plead, using his real name to get on his good side. "No," he repeats. I am about to plead again when a blade whizzes past my ear. "Got to go!!!" I shout to Boss and hang up. Then I pick up the owl and skate as hard as I can. I wonder who is chasing me.

The Brazen Inquiry Guild will rule, I think proudly as I carry my box of Aether supplies.
And now, as I head through the alley, to my transport, I need to-
A metal dog barrels into me, and I fall over, dropping the box. I reach for the box but small, teen-sized hands pick it up.
(June 14, 2016 - 8:51 pm)
I pick up the box and run, glancing behind me at the man sprawled in the ground. Cobalt races ahead, tracking Rae. I catch up to her and we both run into the bookstore and down the steps. I had taken the long way to the store to avoid being followed.
We reach the big hall and high five. As my hand hits hers the bolts creak and the wires spark. Rae winces."We better get that fixed."
I nod. I can only do so much with a damaged arm. "I'll fix it," I say as I walk over to the tool bench.
I work for about an hour and finally my arm is in tip top shape. Cobalt walks over and wags his tail. I reach down to pet him and see a strange circular object attached to his neck. I pry it off and look at it. It was a tracker.
"Umm Rae, I think you should come over here," I say.
She walks over and looks at the tracker. She pales. "Someone has been following us," she whispered. "I think it might be Elliot."
(June 15, 2016 - 7:19 pm)
As the small party of guards and police walk into the tunnel, Elliot pulls out a GPS. He scans the screen, and points to a bookshelf. I smash it out of the way, and walk inside. The criminals and the metal dog are inside. "Nobody move." I yell.
(June 15, 2016 - 8:27 pm)
"Nobody move!"
I whirl around. It's the police and that yellowbellied backstabbing traitor Elliot. The police have guns drawn and fixed at us. I slowly put my hands in the air and Rae does the same.
"What are we going to do?" Rae whispers.
"Just wait," I reply.
The police start towards us, and when they are about five feet away I pull out the distraction bomb and the cave fills with smoke and the sound of clanging metal. When the smoke finally dies down we are gone.
~
I run down the narrow steps, Cobalt ahead and Rae behind. "Where are we going?" Rae puffs.
We had exited through one of the many hidden archways that lined the room. We were now running down one of the exit tunnels, Cobalt's tracker being discarded in a side hallway.
Finally we burst into a dark alley and stopped to get our bearings. We were in the east part of town and in the buisness district.
I turn to Rae. "I think we might have to go down to Kyngdom for a while."
Rae, you can decide whether or not we stay or leave.
Note: Any views this character holds about another character are not real grudes. It is simply the character's personality.

I was in the buisness district, when I spot trouble. Two teens with a cyborg. Better tell Elliot.
(June 15, 2016 - 11:15 pm)
Ah, escaped criminals. Poe, can you look out for them. But do not worry, the silly children forgot that I have a scan of the map and a tracker on the dog...

I didn't think I'd ever come up here. And maybe I never would have. But I needed help. My wings weren't going to come back. I took out my blueprint I had made the night before. And suddenly I was afraid. I couldn't do this. Yes I could. Maybe I should wait. No. I was going to do this. I took a deep breath and summoned the winds to carry me up to the floating island above me.
Reaching it was like entering another world. I stared at the too bright buildings. The too loud cars. And everything else that wasn't natural. The winds brought me to a small office tower. This must be where Elliot was. I tucked the blueprint under my wing, making my way toward the elevator. The winds knew where he was. I let them guide me. The fifth floor. The second room. I took a shaky talon and knocked. Once. Twice. Three times. I heard a grunt and some mumbles. And then the door opened, revealing a boy. He stared at me for a moment. Then smiled. "Come in," said Elliot. "Thank you," I said, my voice shaky. "You probably know about my wings?" He nodded. "Well I wanted to ask a favor. Would you make me." I stopped petrified. Keep going, said a tiny voice in my head. I looked at Elliot. He was waiting. "Make. Me. Fly again?"

In the tunnel, I run at the metal dog. It hides as I try to catch it, but I have almost got it cornered as a giant net falls down. This must have been a smuggler's cove. Then I realize where I am...

I am not a boy. I am over 150 years old. Please stop calling me a boy. Not to be mean, but I work on a charrie, and when people say I am younger than I am, it upsets me.
(June 15, 2016 - 11:21 pm)
Umm...isn't that a bit op?
When people are always making their charries super old and like never age or look that way.....
Sorry, it's just...
