SailHaven

(I will do an explaination, then people can add to the story.)

SailHaven is my home city. It is a floating city, with a network of tunnels, allowing crime syndicates to evolve. The scientists there mostly develop implants, like blades in arms, or wearable tech, like monicles with lenses for seeing in the dark and stuff like that. I got exiled after creating blades that could be installed in arms, but they worked like a cat's claws, and could be hidden completely. After several assassinations, they had to punish me for making them.

"Who are you?" I ask hesitantly.

"Poe Allen," he replied, looking at the guards. "And we know who you are."

"H-how?!" I sputter. "There's no way you would know who I am, unless...."

"Yes?" he asks, raising an eyebrow.

"Has Kyngdom discovered a new animal?"

If he responds, "Yes, a violet octopus," then I'll know that he's my contact. But if he doesn't.... I'm in trouble.

Good.

"See, this is all part of a coup. We need Sprocket dead, because she is the most powerful person who is not on our side.

"Trillian? Kimilene?" I whisper. They emerge from the shadows with sheepish looks on their faces. I smile. At least I wasn't alone. "They are trying assassinate me using this person called Olympia. It's funny how they suspend a war just to kill a little girl." I laugh dryly at my own death.

(Lol)

I tried not to giggle at our own stupidity, but when Sprocket mentions Olympia, the grins slides off my face faster than hot butter.

I groaned. "Olympia?!" Sprocket nodded.

"It's funny how they suspend a war just to kill a little girl," she laughed dryly. I shook my head nervously, but couldn't help cracking a smile.

i smile sadly at Sprocket. we have much bigger problems than her getting killed. My sister would be here any day now and when she arrived we would all be killed. "Right," i say, "we need somewhere to hide. sailhaven is in ruins so a whole bunch of old tunnels have opened up. we could find a spot to hide there."

Wait, Trillian, who's your sister?

I choose my words carefully.

"Even if we both were to try to kill Sprocket," I say, looking at Poe Allen. "We still aren't on the same side necessarily, are we?"

Why? I represent your employer. I also represent the govenrment. The government has hired you. Would you like to see Elliot, who works with Octavia?

Okay. Take me to him. But know that I don't work for any government, necessarily. I don't agree with their work ethics of mercy and trial. I only have an order, and I carry that order out. I am still deciding whether to join Octavia (or Catastrophe's) army.

I nod. Of course, how could I forget. The tunnel systems I used as a hide out so long ago with Rae. They were probably almost all colapsed, but I had gone deeper than anyone had before.

I start to walk towards our destination, then stop and climb the wall. They follow after me, and we all reach the roofs. I look at Trillian."Are you alright?"I say.

my sister is Sasha Thornapple from the Ones Who Were thread. she was born with incredible powers which were held inside the EndStone. every time she used it her mind went slightly more crazy. eventually she was imprisoned and i was given the end stone for safe keeping. octavia broke it though and now sasha has her power back and will probably be hunting me down. i hope that clears everything up.

Sprocket,  I love your character, but for the sake of this rp, the Senator will have to be on Gared's side. At first. She might change her mind. Just to add a little plot twist. But I mean nothing against your charrie.

~Senator Faye

I'm logged into the security camera feed by the time the 3 girls meet up. I watch them one by one duck into the old tunnel system. And I'm about to contact the king, when the screen suddenly goes blank. I frown. But no worries. I just tap the restart button, and it lights up again.

To go first fuzzy then dead. I try again. Same reaction. The machine seems to have no power whatsoever.  Finally, I'm forced to pick up the speaker to tell Manning to find the problem. But its dead also. Even the control pad has no will.

I'm angry now. All my specially ordered and organized technology is not responding to anything I try. Either someone is purposely blocking me from the main control tower, or there's a huge power shortage. Yet the lights still work. So now I'm left sitting idly in my chair, speculating on my choices. Manning can't help if someone is blocking the server, even completely rebooting it would help for only a few minutes.

Time to call the king.

Star says fudw. Fudge, I know, the poor Senator. But you know this will help Sprocket.

We slip into the tunnels, the vast echoing caverns dark and craggy. I lead the way, guiding them through the tunnels I know so well. I had once thought of moving back down here to build a gigantic warehouse, but now it seemed like it would never come true.

The good things about the tunnels was that they completly blocked out any transmissions and video recordings. The walls were made up of materials that blocked anything.

So, am I still going to be assassinated? If so I want to go and write my will and make the funeral plans.
