MYTHS AND LEGENDS
This Book of Myths and Legends is intended to inform, illuminate, educate, and elucidate. But the trepidatious Reader must proceed with caution. Once the Reader has filled their mind with thoughts of Beasts, the Reader can no longer un-know them. Sometimes, the only safeguard against the shuddersome creatures that stalk this Globe is to utterly deny their existence.

Who is ready for Anthro Folklore?!?
Zekia: The First Anthro
A Anthro Folklore That is Most likely true
Long ago before the Country was even founded the was a human woman
The woman wasn't children of her own but see can't seem to get a man to fall for her. She wasn't ugly, she was shy, and scared of being rejected. One day she went into the woods to go to a town nearby to deliver a letter for her friend. Little did she knew she DID cause someone to fall for her. Just not human, but a Dragon. Neither the Dragon nor the Woman had there names recorded in history. For each version has different names. The most popular being Pater Dracon and Mater Chra. Dracon had been Watching Chra for a while now and finally worked up the corsage to do so. He did not want to scare her away but oh did he want her oh so badly. He went in front of her
"Who are you?" Chra trembled ' a-and what do you want from me?"
Pater spoke as soothing as he could.
"What is your name?"
"Chra? Yours?"
"Dracon. Will you please come with me?"
Chra was still scared so she followed afraid to say no. As she followed, Dracon showed her many sights that were beyond imaginable. Mountians, landscapes, cities, seas. She was in awe. After returning home she felt less scared. Glad even to meet Dracon. This continued for a year along with gifts of the finest jewelry and flowers, till one day Dracon went up to Chra and said
"Visne me lubere?"
Chra beamed and kissed the dragon. He blushed.
About two years later there was still no child among the couple. They decided to visit the Veneficus. For a portion of blood from each parent they would be able to have a child. However only a sword made from Blood Ruby can cut the scales of the dragon. After long searching the ceremony was able to commence
"Benedicat Sibi In Filium"
9 months later a child was born from the mother. The baby was humanoid but was easily recognizable for a dragon.
"What should we name the child?"
"Zekia" Zekia grew up and had many kin but to this very day we don't even know why name the child Zekia and what it means.

Hydra
The Hydra, famed for it's many heads, is one of the many dangerous creatures in this world. It usually lives in mistly swamps or other warm climates as it is susceptible to freezing to death if the tempurature goes below zero. It originally has nine heads, but if you cut off one, then two more sprout from the bleeding stump, making it almost invincible to any frontal attack, but it is susceptible to most poisons, and can be easly killed if one poisons it's swamp or drinking water without any trouble. It can also be defeated by cauterising the stump and stopping it from regenerating two more heads. It's venom is highly valuable as it is corrosive, and killls instantly if it is touched. However, it is exceedingly hard to find and is the only one of it's kind. However, there are many stories and legends of heroes defeating it, and many suspect that it regenerates, as all the stoies are five years apart, and the Hydra at the beginning of the tales repeatedly has nine heads, so either all the legends after the first one are frauds, or the Hydra is ressurected after five years with nine heads.

The Kraken (Updated Version)
The Kraken is the most dangerous-and most mysterious-of all creatures on this earth. It is huge in size, and immeasurable in wrath, according to the legends. The sightings reported-those that are not haoxes- date back to millions of years, and the most recent from hundreds of years ago. We would conclude that it died long ago, or that it was a fantasy, except that all the stories have re-accuring details, and that there is evidence that something happened to an immense patch of sand is black, and that there are landmarks of something being dragged into the ocean and buried.
It is hard to say anything really about the kraken as all the tales of it vary in it's colour and shape. However, the tale of it's almost-death is always recorded the same. Here we include a version:
It was created a few days after the Powers, and was originaly meant to be the Power of Chaos-but it was too huge, and too unruly. It was imprisoned by the Powers in a deep sleep and was laid to rest under the sand of the sea. It is said that the sand that it touched turned obsidian black, and that all living things avoided that place, wherre the Kraken still rests....

Niwalken (neeWAHkin)As in a nee, on your leg, and walk, like walk to the store. Nee + walk. Niwalken.
So, this creature is a humanoid. It looks exactly like any human; same skin tone, same hight, weight, etc. Except one difference: there's a tail. Niwalken possess a tail that is very similiar to a cat's, but is a different color depending on what kind of Niwalken it is. A Fire Niwalken would have a red-orange tail, while its counterpart, the Ice Niwalken, has an icy-looking white tail. You get the point. They all live in separate tribes(WaterTribe, SkyTribe, FireTribe, GrassTribe...) although they can intermarry. For example, the first Cloud Niwalken was born to a Water Niwalken and a Sky Niwalken.(If two opposites, as in Light vs. Dark, they could marry, but any children that they might have would only be one or the other.) There are MANY different tribes of Niwalkens, but it would not be possible for me to list them all!
(out of charrie) I made up Niwalkens when I was about...hmmm...maybe 7 or 8-ish? Well, I hope y'all like what I wrote!

That sounds cool...
(April 7, 2017 - 6:55 am)
Oh! I knew I was forgetting something! I just remembered that each tribe has some special power related to what kind of Niwalken that they are. e.g. A Fire Niwalken can project fire from the palms of its hands, while a Forest Niwalken could make things grow, etc.
Bye!

Myths & Legends
Prophecies
(What with the journey to the Oracle, I believe this may be of some importance)
Prophecies are issued when the world is in need of them. Who issues them is often in a trance, as clearing your mind of all other thoughts is important, otherwise your opinions and thoughts will interfere and destroy the prophecy.
The prophecies come to those with an eye to See. But the origin of Seers is a much disputed legend.
Some of them say that the ability to See was given by a Power.
Some say humankind developed it in time of need.
Some say prophecies are rubbish.
But who knows? The Oracle might have something to say about that.
