“ Why do you feel that I should give you a soul stone to
heal the boy that he almost killed?” We all looked at each other realizing that
elves must be able to read minds. “ We…we,” Draco stuttered. “I see. It was an
accident, you say?” This mind reading was starting to creep me out. “You must
go on a quest,”  the elf prince said, “to prove if you are worthy of an elve's soul stone.”  Endey stepped forward. “What is the quest?”  “You must bring me a vial of water from the
waterfall of Arithidyu.  You will all
have to work together to bring me this. There will be many difficulties and
sacrifices you must make. Do you accept?” Apparently elves could see the future
too, I thought, as I looked at everyone else. “I’m in,”  Endey said. Draco stepped forward. “So am
I.” The rest of us nodded in agreement. “Then it is decided, you shall rest
the night here, then begin your quest first thing in the morning!”

******

The next morning, we started off bright and early. The night
before, the elves had fed us and given us a place to sleep. Now we were on our
way to this waterfall. “So,” I said, “do we have any idea where this
waterfall is?” “Nope,” Draco answered. “Then I guess we should start trying to
find out,” I said as I started to walk toward a house on the outskirts of a
town we were near. I knocked on the door, and a short woman answered.  Excuse
me,” I said, “have you heard of the waterfall of Arithidyu?”  The woman looked frightened and said, “ What
do you want with that waterfall? Haven’t you heard the rumors?” I shook my
head. “We aren’t from around here, so we haven’t heard.” “Well, no one really
knows what is up there, but, no one has come back down. They all disappeared.
Even the knights,” she said. I was turning away when I heard the word knight. I
stopped and said, “Knights have been coming to try and defeat whatever is up
there, but none come back down.” “Could you give us directions?” I asked. She
looked at me funny, then said, “Keep going straight, then head up into the
mountains. From there you should be able to find it yourself.” I thanked her
and went back  to tell them what she had
told me.“ Well,” Draco said, “what are we waiting for?”

So, yes, I have randomly ended up in a place with an Internet connection. Yay!

Now, I owe you guys an explanation.

You see, a while ago, I was looking through the pages of the old RP. And then I saw something that made me blink and look again, around the eleventh page.

You might know. A post about Draco. A post about dragon mistreatment. And a girl. Murdered by Draco. Right after Adela had the same idea.

I thank you guys for conveniently ignoring that post and I want to say that it is not real. It doesn't even fit Draco's (random message from Draco: OUTSTANDING) personality.

There are two reasons: one has to do with being bored and frustrated and not knowing what to do with the story.

The other one is about wanting attention.

So thank you all for conveniently pretending it wasn't there. I'm sorry, Adela.

sorry about not posting (as Anex) for a while. ;)

The mage lays Hadrian on a table and starts healing him as soon as everyone else left, albeit very slowly. I don't think fighting her would be a good idea, so I just stand in the middle of her house feeling both indignant and awkward. That is, until she says,

"Come over here and help me."

"I beg your pardon?" I ask, taken aback.

"You're a healer, aren't you?" She asks slowly, as if I'm stupid.

"Yes, but--"

"So get over here, and help me." She gestures for me to come over and stand next to her. I walk over, still feeling extremely awkward.

"I don't know any magic." I say as I watch her wave her hands over Hadrian's wound and mutter cryptic spells under her breath. Slowly, bit by bit, the gash in his stomach starts closing itself! I watch in amazement.

"But you've been touched by magic. Those blades you used to heal your Draceai friend, those are, shall we say, slightly contagious." Before I can ask her how the drake she knows about the Three Blades, she keeps talking. "A tiny bit of magic seeps into you every time you touch a magical item or being. I call it 'second-hand magic'." She continues healing Hadrian for a few moments, then stops. "He's stable now, so he'll survive until your friends get back with my soulstone." She says smugly.

"Can I use my...um...second-hand magic?" I ask, wary but still curious. She smiles, still looking smug.

"Of course."

"Do my friends have it too?" I ask. She nods.

"But none of them are healers, so their magic is different than mine. If they want a teacher I could do it, but I'm best with healing magic."

"Oh." I'm confused now. Did she just say teacher?

"So, first lesson." She says.

"Wait, wait, wait. Why are you teaching me?!" I ask incredulously.

"So that you kids don't come to me every time this happens." She gestures to poor Hadrian, supposedly stable but still looking very pale.

All I say is, "Um..."

~~~~~~~~~
that's the end of my post sorry if it's a little short.
*so if anyone doesn't want the mage to teach anex healing magic that's fine I just thought it would be cool *grins sheepishly* but if you think it's not fair since my other charrie is a draceai then that's fine too. I thought that it might be useful for him to know some healing magic though. *grins sheepishly again*
I've no problem with it, so as long as the others don't mind, go ahead, it should be interesting!
Draco~
We'd been walking for a while when we came across a lady sprawled artistically across a rock, just like the women you see in paintings holding grapes and eyeing them critically. She was wearing a purple dress that reached just above her knees. I wish the noblewoment  at Court could see this.
"You shall have to pass me to proceed," she announces.
"Well, that pretty much ruins our plans..." mutters Aleakim sarcastically.
Her disturbingly green eyes-- not like mine, which were a rather muddy grayish hue-- rolled over to Aleakim. "You dare to taunt me, feeble Draceai, for I have powers that you will never imagine--" She stopped. "What went wrong in that?"
"I think maybe you should take away the 'for' and add a period," suggested Catrin helpfully.
She brings a hand to her chest in a display of shock. "But I've got to have 'for' in it somewhere!"
"Whaaa...." says Endey. I throw him a Look. "I mean, why?"
"It's traditional, little boy, don't you know anything?"
He's still wearing an expression appropriate to... appropriate to nothing, really. It's just too comical.
An older lady in a longer dress suddenly appears on the path in a flurry of golden sparks. "Really, Elvira!!" she exclaims. Then she turns to us, skirts swinging. "Ah! A group of young people on a quest!" Her voice rises immediately, and she begins the speech that Elvira had bungled. "None shall pass, young travelers, without underoing our test! We have powers beyond the boundaries of all your imaginations combined-- prove yourself worthy to us, and we shall allow you to go forth, unharmed! I am Evka, guardian of the path!"
We all stare at her blankly, after her own speech. "Wha..." I hear somewhere to the back. Gee, I wonder who said that...
Um... sorry... I'm a liiiiittle bit confused. Or, as Endey would say, "Whaaa?" :)
So, Hadrian got healed by an albino healer in town, and we've discovered that the dragon blades did some magical thingy. Got that. What I don't get is, why are we starting on a quest? I'm all for elves and quests and waterfalls, I just don't really get what we're doing. -_-
P.S. Spamdragon's all wiggly now!! :o
Well, we already knew that the Three Blades were magical. We are going on a quest because Essrial (the albino mage) wanted an elf's soulstone. We went and found elves. The elves sent us on a quest to for us to prove to them that we're worthy of a soulstone. We have to go bring back a vial of water from the waterfall Arithidyu.
Oh, and Essrial might giving Anex magic lessons right now, but the last time the rest of us saw her, she took Anex for insurance and then shut the door in our faces. So, we don't know that she's nice. She might kill Anex or something if we irritate her.
Spamdragon is all wiggly for me, too.
@Elyana- The albino healer lady will not give us Hadrian unless we pay her with a soul-stone of an elf so we went on a quest to the elves. They then said that they won't give us a soul-stone unless we bring them a vial with the water of some special waterfall and that's why we're on a quest. Not the best explanation, but I tried. :)
Sorry, I haven't posted in a while. School has been really busy.
Arlen-
“And what exactly will prove us worthy?” Draco asks, ignoring the loud “whaa…?” behind us.
Evka, the guardian of the path, smiles radiantly. “Curious, young one? Do you want to go first?” Draco gulps and steps forward.
I study Evka and the landscape. I feel like I’ve been here before and I feel that it’s a trick. This Evka isn’t a guardian of the path. She’s a witch, and where I come from, you don’t trust witches.
“Draco, stop!” I exclaim.
She halts, then spins around. “Why?”
“She is a witch.” I tell her simply.
I hear a growl from behind Draco and suddenly where Evka was is now a four-feet-tall, evil hag.
Someone behind me draws in his or her breath.
“You asked for it.” The hag cackles. “Now I’ve rather lost patience with you. I don’t think I’ll let you through.”
“Whaaa?” Endey steps forward. “Are you insane? You think that you are more powerful than us?”
“Careful, Endey, she is.” I whisper.
“Listen to the boy, Endey, and nothing will happen.” Evka (if she even is Evka) smiles evilly, showing off a bunch of yellowish gums.
“Ew. She needs to go to the dentist.” I don’t know who said it, but it sets the witch off and she starts yelling words, ancient magical words. The ground starts quaking and stones begin to roll off the cliffs around us.
“Lovely.” I mutter sarcastically. “What do we do now?”
Okay... now this can go many ways. One: a dead person messes with Reality
, because in Reality they die,   and gets them into trouble with dragongods. Two: Dragongods change Reality, because in Reality they die, and then do something to them. For no apparent reason. Three: They use cunning to fight the hags and Four: They use power to fight the hags or Five: Someone helps them fight the hags... I don't know. And you can suggest other things. Which one is your favorite?
Okay...
(BTW 'Okay...' wasn't me)
Could I possible be the person who helps them fight the hags?
I've been fallowing this RP for a really long time, and I think aside from my own PJRP, it's my favorite. It is really amazing writing.
Could I possible join and help you guys fight the hags?
Name: Nova Atticus
Apperance: Really long weist length brown hair, usually in a pony tail, tall, really tan skin, shocking blue eyes (especially since her skin is so tan most of the time)
Age: 18
Personality: Not friendly, bluntly honest, attitude issues, smart aleck, extremely inteligent, always believes herself to be right, only judges people after observing them.
Occupation: Bounty-hunter. Likes dragons, but has never had the guts to ride one because she doesn't like height much. She just does jobs for high prices. Thinks anyone who could even think of killing a dragon is a maniac. Thinks romance is a waste of time. (Can understand the dragon language to an extent, but can't speak it.)
So could I possible join? It's OK if there's too many people already.
@Sam: sure you can join! Or, I think so anyway. :) It's Tiffany W's thread, technically, so you'll have to ask her. Your charrie sounds really cool.
