There is a little smoke from the fire, drifting upwards with the mystic scent of burning pine. The old man nods, looking upwards at the stars. He is a little man now, leaning forward with his arms on his knees and his bright eyes never fixed on one place, his silver hair falling into his eyes a little; but you see suddenly how he might once have been a great lord, a wild princeling from wild mountains, a man who you might have died for if you had known him then.
But that was a long time ago. Right now, you're too desparate to know about the present.
"Yes," the old man begins, his quavering voice low to make no disturbance in the peaceful night, "there used to be ten Guadians, Guardians of Liritar they were called - 'Liritar', all that is good..."

There used to be ten guardians: one for each element, or key. The elements were hope, light, earth, air, fire, water, pines, love, promises, and night. But those ten Guardians are gone. Somewhere, into the darkness. And without them the world is not the same; evil is fighting in distant lands for power over what the Guardians once protected.
The Guardians must return.

Appearance: on the shorter side, with short shoulder length hair dyed blue. Brown eyes and a creamy complexion, small nose and kind smile. Likes to wear jeans and t shirts.
Personality: kind, funny, and fun to be around, goes with the flow for the most part. But don't make her mad, because she becomes VERY angry.

Favorite color: mossy green, chartreuse (for a reason known as the Mandela Effect, lots of ppl (in my experience) think this color as a magenta, but it's green), viridescent
Appearance (human-like): short and stout, bright emerald eyes and streaks in cropped black hair, flowing skirt, pants, and top, leaf crown, a natural feel to her, Indian (NOT Native American btw, Indians and Native Americans are two different peoples, Christopher Columbus got that wrong), you said human-LIKE so are green veins ok?
Personality: fun loving and gentle, has her reckless moments, when she wants something, she WANTS it (doesn't give up easily, but can understand when it is time to let go), a fighter (in more than one sense) and fights better with a team

Personality: sure of herself, more a leader than one to mingle with the crowd, but she has spells of doubting herself - she's a strong friend but needs space at times to "be herself"

@Celine, yes, pines means the trees, and green veins are probably all right :) However, the Guardians are a magical species of their own, so I'm not sure how well it would work to have her be Indian, I hope you don't mind (and btw, your remark about Cristopher Columbus made me laugh XD) And sure, Sonya can be twelve.
