I just had an amazing idea- I’ve actually had it for a bit but I was kind of afraid that nobody would like it. But anyways, here is it.
What if I make something (with help, obviously) like Kyngdom? I understand if you don’t want me to becuase I’m so new, I just thought that it’s something I would enjoy doing with some help!
Now here’s a few problems, it would probably (unless the CB Team is interested in granting us a new category like Kyngdom does, although that could be tough) have to all be on Inkwell, but with a lot of pages like that we’d have to figure out how to keep it well organized, maybe make a table of contents, although then we’d have to rely on the Admins putting up with us asking for all of the edits, I’m not sure if they’d like that very much owo
Anyways, I’m probably thinking too far into this, I need to know if you guys and the Admins think it’s okay/it would be fun UwU I understand if you want somebody who’s been on the CB longer than me to do it.

Okay, but we CBers can't exactly create a new section. And the Admins said they were unable to get a new section at this time. So until then, it's going to have to be on the rest of the CB.
It sounds like pretty much everyone's good with Across the Void. Shall we keep that as our working title?
And it also seems like the method of labeling the threads will be the best to keep track of things. Niteskiies, is there anything else you want to decide with this before it begins?

@Luminescence - yes, you're correct about the friend/mentor question. You can RP as them if you'd like, but most people keep them as NPCs (non-player characters)

Could we put any Across the Void (that's what we're calling it, right?) threads on inkwell, but put ATV as part of the title of the thread? So it would be like ATV: Intro or whatever. ATV is also all terrain vehicle, though, so that might be confusing.

I've always wanted to join Kyngdom, but thought it would be to hard to get into now that it's so OLD and so much stuff has already happened. So yeah, I love this idea. Maybe Cricket Media could put some secret codes in the magazine for AtV like they do for Kyngdom...

Sooooooo I compiled a list of the stuff for this we should probably make! We can like, volunteer and assign roles, if we're going with AtV thread starters then :D

- Transmission for help (maybe a sort of transcript?)
- Map fragments (or just a whole map if we're going to do that, or no map at all)
- Plot thread
- Characters thread
- Art thread
- Lore thread
- Some sort of discussion thread regarding how to organize it
- And RP threads, idk how we're gonna organize this, we'll figure it out

We can combine some of the threads so they take up less space.... So, like this:
Intro/Basic Overview + Transmission for Help (Basically, the beginning. This can also be the first roleplay. Or, we could also use it as the charrie thread.)
Plot + Lore + Discussion thread
We can probably go without a map, or, on the rps we could draw maps of the planet(s) we're roleplaying on that thread, if we wanted. We could do the same with art-- just post any art on the roleplay it relates to, or on the charrie thread if its of a charrie
Charrie thread (If we don't use intro thread for this)
Art thread (if we don't do what I previously suggested)
Various RP threads, which will come and go.
This way, we only have to keep a minimum of three threads topped on the Inkwell homepage. If we keep them near the middle;bottom, they shouldn't bother anyone. And the rps will come and go like normal rps.
Admins, any updates on possibly getting our own section? It looks like we'll probably be okay without one, but it would still be nice to have our own section. :)
No word. I don't think we can do that now. I think you're doing very well right now for a start!

I basically agree with what Sybill said, but I started writing this post before I saw hers, so I thought I might as well post it anyway.
I think we should try to keep threads to a minimum, given that we won't have an actual section and will just be on the Inkwell.
We could keep this thread for discussion about organization and plot. The Admins can sometimes rename threads if we ask very nicely, so we could rename the thread to fit with the naming theme (e.g. "AtV Discussion: Plot and Organization", and that way all the original planning would remain accessable. (This would include the 'plot thread' and 'lore thread' and 'discussion thread regarding how to organize it' from your list.)
I think we should have one thread for noting major plot points and keeping a glossary of links to threads, like the Kyngdom Academy thread or the Story So Far thread in Kyngdom. (This would include the 'intro/basic overview' and 'transmission for help (maybe a sort of transcript?" from your list.)
I don't think we need a map of the whole galaxy, but people could make maps for specific planets if that was useful, and those could just go on the RP threads for those planets. The same could be true for art.
I agree that we should have a thread for characters (like Kyngdom's "Who's here?" thread) to keep that organized.
I think to start off with a few RP threads, we could just start in a few planets where people want to RP.

Thank you to the Admin and CBers who answered my question! Luminescence, sure on our characters being friends. Unless they just really don't fit eachother. Don't expect my character anytime soon though! I have other things that need doing.

@Sybill, I would be happy to run this! Does anyone want to co-run it with me? Because I'd like to but I might need help. Also, I think this is going to be more run by the CBers who participate, but to start us off, I'd be happy to.

All right, everybody! Here's how this is going to work:
We will have one Intro/Who's Here? thread. (This wil have a link to an Ulitimate Guide thread, which will be created and then updated maybe once every 1-3 months depending on activity levels?)
We will have one thread for Plot/Discussion/Lore.
We will a third Map/Art thread. (If that's too many threads we can scrap this one and do what Sybll suggested.)
Our RP threads will be there just like normal RPs, but they will be labelled AtV- [insert RP name.]
Every thread made for this project MUST be labeled AtV- {thread name.}
Is anyone who is interested in co-running this (as in, making threads, updating the Ultimate Guide, etc.) on YWP? That would be a good place to discuss things. Also, just to make this clear: When I say running this project, I mean getting it started. After that, it's up to participants to keep it going. Anyone can feel free to post updates to the Ultimate Guide and any other thread.
So don't feel extra pressured or anything. :)
Once I get someone to help me out, and we create the threads, the RPing will begin! If anyone has any questions or world building ideas before the threads are posted, post them here to be included in the Ultimate Guide/Intro threads.
