Spontaneous RP!
Sometimes I feel like we get so caught up in the developement and rules of a RP that it dies before we even make it very far (I know that's happened to me...Combat Cliff RPG, Griffinfeather RPG the first...and more).
So, let's just do some writing.
two rules.
1. Put forth your absolute best. Even if it's not going to be published or maybe no one else but me will read it. It's good for your writing. Trust me.
2. Make sure everything lines up! Mostly!! Inserting random flying unicorns is okay, but killing a character off and then making them reappear might be a little confusing.
If you are still confuzzled, check out this thread to see what I mean:
http://www.cricketmagkids.com/chatterbox/inkwell/node/65463
just make up a character and join the story. You can be a character I've mentioned or somebody new. My characters are Pheonix and Carlena.
Without further ado, let us begin.
~
"Carlena scratched at the wall's smooth surface, her heart pounding so loud she could hardly think. The dark rectangle seemed to close in around her, pressing in on all sides; squeezing her lungs flat and yanking away all the oxygen. The air was hot and sizzling with frusteration and fear. Throwing herself against the wall, Carlena melted onto the floor. She was stuck. Enclosed in a horrible crystal box while her own dear sister, Caroll, was set on destroying Jewel Academy. All she could do was sit here, helpless and terrified out of her wits, while Caroll did away with everything she worked towards. Carlena tried to take a calming breath and found she could not breath. The walls were closing in...her eyes whirled crazily around the shadows; searching for an exit. If Cassey doesn't get the children out of the academy in time, they'll all... Carlena let out a frusterated gasp of despiration. Oh come on, Carlena! You can't let a little claustrophobia defeat you, girl! She said to herself. The spunky Galaxy Witch sat up slowly and brushed back the gigantic bush of chalk-white, ankle length hair from her damp forehead. Carlena then—"
"Pheonix! Jaihra's on the phone!" My older sister called from downstairs.
"COMING!" I yelled back, dropping The Charming Adventures of Carlena the Galaxy Witch to the floor. Galexia looks up at me in surprise from her nest of pillows on the floor, her eyes clouded, obviously still deep inside the story.
"But...that's not fair! Nixie!" My little sister moans, "What happens to Carlena? What happens to the seven sisters and the academy?"
"You're just going to have to find out next time!" I say with a wink. Galexia shakes her head furiously, sending her fluffy brown pigtails into a frenzy,
"It's not fair that I don't get to see what happens next because you wanna go talk to your giiiiirlfriend," she says angrily. On the last word, an evil smile begins to curl on her lips. I stop half-way to the door.
"Jaihra is NOT my girlfriend. And we have very important things to talk about," I retort hotly before rushing out of Galexia's frilly, pink bedroom and down the stairs, taking the story book with me. The wood steps creak under my feet as I race down, nearly slipping on the last one.
"Yeah, Jaihra, he's coming," I hear my 21-year-old sister, Andromeda, say, Rounding the corner, I can see her leaning against the counter in a red tank top and shorts, her long brown hair in a messy braid over one shoulder. She has my phone tucked between her hear and shoulder while she casually flips through pages of her sketchbook, twirling a bright blue pencil with her free hand.
"I'm here!" I yell breathlessly in her face.
"Took you long enough," she says, rolling her eyes and handing over the phone, "go take your chatting upstairs. You two 'll talk my ears off. Upstairs!" She commands, pointing her pencil.
"Hi Jaihra!" I greet into the phone.
"Hi Pheonix! Ummm...are you alone??" She asks cautiously, "I have an update on...you know...project Milky Way Sorceress and...uh...the Precious Stone School," she hints not-so-subtly.
"Yeah, just a sec," I answer, dashing back upstairs to my room and bouncing onto my bed.
"Okay! Shoot!" I exclaim, tossing down the story book beside me. It flips open to the title page; which is covered with words I'm glad Galexia can't read yet.
For my nephew, Pheonix. I hope you enjoy my charming adventures!!! Please keep in mind that these are all absolutely true and my heroism was not exagerated in the least. Hope that you can soon join me in Jewel Academy! Once you set out on your journey to find it, that is.

Your Aunt Carlena, the spunky Galaxy Witch
P.S. do not show this to anyone or I may have to incenerate them.
I let the book cover slide closed. Yeah, Galaxia, we do have important things to talk about.

WAIT GUYS SACRA WASN'T MENTIONED OFF-SHIP OH MY GOSH SHE"S STILL ON THE SHIP GUYSGUYSGUYSGUYSGUYSGUYSGUYSGUYS
(October 4, 2018 - 3:27 pm)
I think everyone is off the ship.
(October 4, 2018 - 7:22 pm)
ah gosh I'm sorry. That sounded kind of straight out there and not very considerate! What I meant is, I'm pretty sure that before I started my post, everyone was off the ship. I think Dominique would know. If you really want Sacra to stay on the ship, that's not my place to say no. However, I think that maybe Dominique needs to completely leave the group so his betrayal is clean cut. But on the other hand, her going well...wherever he's going at this point could be interesting too! I really just don't want to have to kill her or imprison her somewhere when the final battle is about to take place soon (I'm going to assume).
Also, I was tired when I made the biggie plot twist, so not that I haven't been dramatic enough, but I just forgot to include a few things. Dominique is a bad guy. He was from the beginning. He didn't really fall in love with Andromeda (all though she may have a teensy bit with him, in a young, immature way), she just kind of caught him off guard. And he realizes that in another time and another world, they may have been happy together and that she is probably the only person who would ever catch him off guard like that.

It's okay, Rose Bud. :)
I was actually thinking of her being off-ship and learning her past from the sands... Like THIS:
Sacra~
I kneel down and run the sand through my fingers. As it lands back on the ground it shifts to make elaborate pictures. I gasp. A tiny baby, with the beginnings of a silver mane and two miniscule horns sits in a cradle, watching with cold silver eyes at a woman running away from it. The baby begins to cry as the woman gains distance between herself and the babe. Just before disappearing, however, the woman looks back. Two silver horns gleam from atop her head, tears streaming from her silver eyes. Then, a golden arrow skewers her through the heart. She gasps in pain. Before falling dead to the ground, she whispers:
"Mortal through the heart until you." She reaches towards the baby, who wails, but the woman's eyes roll back into her head and she falls, dead. I gasp. Mortal through the heart until you. She was talking to me! I am one of the the first generation of Metallics to be... What exactly?? The sands change, this time showing a woman, older than me, with two golden swords pushing against twelve other swords, gold magic flaring tulmultuously around them. Two silver swords are in the very front of the pack. The woman whispers to the bearer of the two silver swords, who I can't recognize.
"You know, even if you do kill me, I'll be back. And the best part is, I'll remember. Oh, yes. I'll remember it all. You, the rest of our Sisters, the people I've killed to get here, yes. I'll remember." The golden woman sneers. "But you won't. You'll regenerate, just like me, but you won't remember. I'll make sure of that. You won't want to remember anyway. I know you won't, because of Him. Ohhh, you loved Him soooo much, you did, but I killed Him. Being a lesser Metallic, He won't come back." She laughs as the silver-bearing woman flinches. "But at least we'll both have to start over again, until we meet the next time." Both of the two women draw one of their swords back and plunge them into each other's hearts. Then, in a blinding flash of silver and gold light, they disappear. Only now do I realize I have tears streaming from my silver eyes.
"Alathea, I remember you. Oh, yes, I remember you."
~~
I was thinking that the 'He' Alathea was talking about would be Cassandra's Iron/Steel charrie...
ALSO THE MWS REGENERATE HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA *Runs off*
(October 5, 2018 - 12:19 am)
So, I'm introducing my new iron magick charrie, Farran! A brief backstory: he's lived on a humongous library on the Planet of Secrets for his whole life (most of it is underground, so that's why our charries can't see it). Like Sacra, he doesn't remember anything about his past life. He's never really seen any other people before, so the crew's entrance will probably be more than a little startling. Also, he has a dog (because he needs some company in that place) called Fabio. I'll post something with him soon!
(October 5, 2018 - 11:20 am)
Uh... like the lego elf or whatever?
(October 5, 2018 - 3:08 pm)
I'll post soon, sorry for being inactive!

I did write a part, but first I have something to get off my chest.
*Clears throat*
AAAAAAaaAAAAaAAAHHHHH!! DOMINQUE BENNET YOU HAVE GIVEN ME A CHRONIC CASE OF THE FEELS. I was wORKING ON A PICTURING OF YOU AND ANDROMEDA! You're still one of my favorite characters though. Hmmph.
ANd shoutout to Rosebud for writing the most emotional part I have ever *sobs* read.
Jaihra~
A trail of purple smoke blinded us
for a second.
Not purple, like Galexia,
violet.
Violent.
And the smoke cleared
leaving a group of teens
a little girl
and a shocked young women
with her face blue from rage.
The rage faded away,
and now all that was left
was-
~~~~~~~~~~
"Nothing." Andromeda kicked the dry sand. "There's nothing on the ground except sand! Nothing in the sky, besides our ship!" We watched as she collapsed to the ground, exhausted. Silence. Not a nice silence, an awkward silence.
"Andi?" Galexia squated next to Andromeda. "Why are you sad?" Andromeda didn't respond. "Do you want a hug? I'll give you a hug. I'll give you infinity hugs." Galexia wrapped her petite arms around Andromeda. "Better?"
"Thanks Honey." Andromeda forced a cheerful smile. "So team, where to?" She extended her arms, showcasing the barren landscape.
"How about underground?" Zephyr shrugged.
"...underground?!" I asked incredusly.
As if in response, the ground creaked open, revealing a dark staircase...
I just want to make a note that I think Andromeda is upset because she feels like she is failing her team and family (Galexia not being able to control her magic, losing their transportation, trying to find her dad, and having to basically act as a mother for the last 5 years). Dominique leaving is only a small cause of that. Andromeda is way too tough and independent to be crying over a boy (I think we can all agree).
<3 Fidelity
(October 11, 2018 - 7:12 am)
Awww Fidelity that was beautiful. And you're right. Andromeda wouldn't be crying over a boy. I wasn't sure how to do that, but I think you did it best. What makes it even sadder is she's probably crying inside.
Aaaaah! No Andromeda we love you whyyyy!!!
Imma beat up Dom just for fun now :P Or should I get them back together?
