Chapter Seven

“Bam!” Something burst through the door. In true heroic style, Stan ran at the thing that had just entered.

The thing was bright purple, with rows of irregular bubbles down it’s back. It squirmed and wriggled around the floor, while more of it’s kind swarmed through the windows.

“Yo,” Stan said. “Come and get me.”

“I wouldn’t do that to a Shoggoth.” West whispered to Keira and Illaq.

Stan drew his sword, bright silver with intricate runes, and stabbed at the Shoggoth nearest to him. It exploded into a green ooze as the Shoggoths around it seemed to get angrier and angrier. Stan watched in horror as a battle-scarred Shoggoth roared at him. He was thrown back.

Daisy ran after him. While she did this, West and September ran at the Shoggoths, swords and daggers swinging, while Illaq and Keira provided a constant rain of arrows and spells. The Shoggoths fell back, squealing like pigs.

HAlfway through the battle, Daisy and Stan ran to join the fray.

Soon, everyone watched as the remaining Shoggoths ran out. Everyone else in the cafe clapped as West took a bow.

Chapter Eight

“What?” Illaq yelled at West.

“Look. I need you there.” West replied, offended.

“Illaq, you will be fine.” September cut in.

“You talk as though only Illaq was going. Everyone but me is.” West replied, confused.

The whole conflict had started when, casually, West had mentioned that everyone but himself should go to a certain high school. Everyone had freaked out.

“Not only am I 13, but that would mean dealing with normal people!?” September said.

“You are smart. And tough. I would think that going on a date or whatever would kill you?” Daisy replied.

“Ok. You go tomorrow. You need the following things:

-Composition Notebooks

-Ipods

-Laptops

-Earbuds

-A really old book?

-Some pop music for the Ipods

-New clothes.

And I think that is it.” West replied.

“I still think this is unnecessary.” September replied.

“Well, five students have reported a grey rash growing on their skin. The average GPA is down 50%, and that is bad.” West retorted.

“You think the Colour?” Illaq asked.

“Ohhh!” West yelled. “You guys will need sunglasses for this new school.”

Chapter Nine

The new girl walked into the school. She didn’t remove her sunglasses as she walked inside, and she didn’t remove her earbuds. The principal stopped her.

“Please remove your headphones.” He said.

The new girl removed one ear.

“Quick.” West yelled through the remaining earbud. “Switch to pop or something.”

The girl flipped off her live stream from West and pulled off the earbuds.

“OMG,” She said. “Seriously?’

The principal retreated, offended.

Illaq, who had put on her earbuds back on, signaled to Keira, who was supposed to steal some health records from the school nurse.

Daisy and Stan were supposed to go to PE, and steal yet more records on people who had collapsed during yesterday's lesson.

The horror in claim was a very rare virus called the Color, which was said to be carried by meteors that pass through the Sun’s gravitational field, though this was never confirm.

September was supposed to be talking to the friends of people infected with this virus, but somehow everyone thought she was doing something else.

Chapter Ten

Daisy hated school pickups, and this pickup was no exception. West was taking forever. And September was missing.

A moment later, September ran out, holding a plastic bag full of grey dust. Several people people chased her.

Just that moment, West’s car pulled up, and everyone ran in, as the people chased after them.

“The Innsmouth look.” Stan muttered.

The people were ugly. Their flat face, green eyes, and almost scaly skin looked almost unhuman.

“Mission accomplished!” West yelled as he looked through the notes he had been handed.

Chapter Eleven

The crew, lead by West walked along Pike’s Place market. Stan was talking to Daisy as usual, and West was looking for winged octopi. The cause of this was the Cthulhi that attacked their car, and Wast had a hunch that one or more was lurking in the fish markets.

Everything was just great, until Stan was pulled into an alleyway by something. Everyone turned. All they could see of the kidnapper was a slimy tentacle. Daisy looked shocked.

West pulled out a small green stone, and threw it down the alley. It exploded into light, but nothing could be found, save a single piece of paper.

The piece of paper said: “Soon, even death may die.”

West pulled out his pocket Necronomicon.

Chapter Twelve

Daisy sobbed. How could her boyfreind be captured by forces of evil. It just wasn’t fair.

West walked into his apartment. In his hand, he held a small blob of ooze.

“WHat the heck is that?” Keira asked.

“Her name is Jane.” West replied.

“You name blobs of goo?
“JAne is alive.”

“Really?”

Jane was about the size of a marble, and bright purple. She started to shake, then actually move up West’s arm.

“SHe is a baby Shoggoth.” Illaq announced.

“ANd,” West continued. “She has magical powers.”

“What?” Daisy asked.

“She can send messages from one person to another.” West answered.

“Ask her if she can find STan.” Daisy asked.

In a moment, Jane began to say something in STan’s voice. “Hello from the other side!! I must have called a thousand times.”

Chapter Thirteen (Now things get bad…)

West and the crew disembarked the plane in England. West had the crazy idea Stan was in London. Apparently, this was all “a set of intricate clues, set for us by someone I don’t know.”

Jane was now the size of a small dog. She rode on Illaq’s shoulder, and Illaq had cast a spell that made most people unknown of her presence.

Later, in the downtown London, West walked into a dark alleyway. He motioned for everyone else to follow. The alley lead to a small shop. West threw open the door.

Stuff was everywhere. Small books, daggers, swords. Everything imaginable.

“We need supplies.” West said.

Chapter Fourteen (Sorry, bad things will happen in this chapter)

West watched in horror as the crablike thing smashed the front of the car.

The crew had been driving along a country road, when they saw a house collapsing into the ground. Illaq and Keira had used the magic to try and lift the house from the earth. As soon as they tried, they wished they hadn’t. When the house lifted, it revealed a horror.

The horror was a mass of writhing tentacles, bright red in color, with a sort of head, covered with black eyes. West immediately grabbed his pistol. He shot at the thing, whose anger seemed to boil. The mass of tentacles grabbed at Keira and Illaq, who screamed as they were dragged towards the mouth of the thing. September grabbed her silver katana, and lunged at the nearest tentacle. West dropped behind the car as the horror started smashing it.

West grabbed his NEcrinomicon.
Daisy was quietly trying to hide from the monster when Keira and Illaq broke free, and the monster lunged at Daisy. At that moment, West screamed out a passage: “N’gai h’gha’ghaarash’nere bugg-shoggog y’hahy: ney Yog-Sothoth, ney Yog-Sothoth”

The horror hissed as though burnt, and crumpled, lifeless, to the ground.

Chapter Fifteen (Romance, intrigue, and my favorite: bulletproof paper)

“Of course!!” Daisy wailed.

She was in an abandoned warehouse, talking to Stan.

“You would really kill them, the rest of the team? My captors want a blood sacrifice.” Stan replied, shakily.

“What the Yig?” West spat. He had apparently blown the door open.

“Cthulhu was less of a cutthroat.” Keira yelled from her perch in the rafters.

Stan grabbed a pistol, and shot at Keira. His bullet hit the Necrinomicon she heald. It pierced the leather of the cover, but ricocheted off the paper.

‘’ Bullet-proof paper.” Keira called down.

Daisy had appeared to be carried off by a Mi-go, but West had suspected otherwise.

Jane, now the size of a small dog, yipped at Stan’s ankles.

West grabbed his spellbook, read a chapter, and muttered something at Stan. stan flew back, and hit the wall. He collapsed.

“Daisy, you are coming with us.” West commanded.

As West and Daisy met up with Illaq and September, Keira jumped from her perch onto STan. A mass of green tentacles flew from chest.

Chapter Six

“In normal land, it is common sense.” West had been enraged to a new degree. His face was flushed, and his ears had turned red.

“But I love him!!” Daisy screamed back.

“Tentacles come out of his chest.” Keira yelled.

“Why would you be in a situation where you could see his chest. Daisy snarled back.

“Acidic tentacles, then.” Keira snarled back. She reached for her Necrinomicon.

“Hey, West and/or Illaq: did you know the Necrinomicon has a passage that makes a teenager in love shut up?” Keira replied, as Daisy struggled against  the white light that had suddenly covered her mouth.
