Megan and Annie
Chatterbox: Inkwell
Megan and Annie
Megan and Annie are doing a Historical Fiction story.
Rules:
1. No fighting.
2. No taking over the story. Work it out with your partner so you can both do the story equally.
3. Keep the story PG.
4. GloWorm says to always keep to your genre, but I disagree: if you really want to, change genres.
Thank you very much! :)

I never said it belonged to me, all I said that it was MY contest, and I have closed it, so you can't think of your story as part of TAPM. I know inkwell went on without me, and I do appreciate BellaTrix "helping", what I find rude is that she changed my rules. It's like taking Cricket Mag and saying "OKAYZ THEN; I'LL TAKE CRICKET OVER; AND UMZ, WE WONT HAVE BAB ANYMORES, KAYS?". Do you think the admins would appreciate that too much? Or you for that matter?
The reason I "abandoned" is my grandfather had a heartattack, and we had to stay with him for two months.
And FWI - Yes, I can unnaccept you.

My points-
-I'm sorry about your grandfather, but you still left.
-You are correct in that the rest of us went on with life.
-We wanted to amend your rules.
-You have made your point.
-If Admin left for a very long period of time and stopped doing whatever it is that Admin do, and we all voted for one person to take charge of Chatterbox, and we all agreed that if we wanted to, we could put book threads on Inkwell, and writing threads on Down to Earth.
-In the situation above, Admin would understand.
-Bellatrix did you a favor.
-Anyone intested should be welcome to participate.
-We want to get back to our story now.
-Thank you, Annie

I'm glad Meadow and Kendra agree. It's nice talking to them. :)

I absolutely agree with Annie and Brynne. If you would look back at the TAPM thread, you would see that we waited for you to return. When you didn't, we took matters into our own hands. There were people who had not been paired as well as people who still wanted to join. You have been gone for, what, a year, maybe a year and a half? You cannot expect time to stop while you are gone here on the Chatterbox. If you don't want us to continue our story under TAPM, I can accept that. You have the right to request that, and I respect it. But just because someone was kind enough to take care of your thread for all of us does not give you the right to yell at them. BellaTrix was fantastic, and when you left, we all made a concious desicion to elect BellaTrix the substitute leader of TAPM. So when you insult BellaTrix, you are insulting all of us. I come to Inkwell to write, get constructive critizism, and have fun with my friends. This arguement is really upsetting and pointless, so please just let bygones be bygones, because we will not let you insult BellaTrix when it was you who dropped the ball and not her. I'm sorry if this comes out as rude, but I am sick and tired of you insulting BellaTrix like this. If you were at the very least attempting to be polite and civil, I
would be able to treat you the same, but you are being very rude about
it. In the unwritten laws of the Chatterbox, one cannot insult another poster, no exceptions. If you cannot except this, I am sorry you have blinded yourself so.

Hear. hear! So, shall we get back on track with our TAPM story?
(October 15, 2009 - 6:09 pm)
Agreed. Sorry I haven't been on for the past few days; I have been trying to get rid of an annoying cough and haven't even looked at a computer until today.
I had this brilliant idea walking home from school the other day for our story, but I can't remember it. Don't you hate it when that happens to you? If I remember, I'll tell you, but my mom just got home, so I'll talk later.
(October 19, 2009 - 2:19 pm)
Cool! /Random Info/ I walk home from school too. /Random Question/ Do you see your letters in color when you read?
(October 22, 2009 - 3:33 pm)
I won’t apologize for putting something in as polite text as I could, Brynne. Saying ‘No offence BellaTrix, but since I started this whole thing and all, it was kinda rude to say '4. GloWorm says to always keep to your genre, but I disagree: if you really want to, change genres.’ Did not come across to me as rude at all, and I’m sorry if our opinions don’t "match up".
May I point out that BellaTrix has also "abandoned"? But I’m sure she had a good reason, which is why I even hesitate to point that out, I only do it to show you that I am not as evil as a person as you think.
I’m not actually angry per see at BellaTrix, I was temporarily surprised, and a bit offended, that she took it in her hands to change my rules. One of my faults, and I do admit it as a fault – though I think my reasoning fine, is that I hate it when people take credit, or change something, that I spent time trying to do.
If the admins left for a little while, I doubt they would take it all too kindly if someone took over in their place and changed their rules.
TAPM was supposed to be a program where I accepted and graded peoples stories, (not ‘graded’, more like a contest.). I had to leave because as I said, my grandpa had an unexpected heart attack, I didn’t even take my computer, so I didn’t do school besides my literature. It happened on a Sunday while we were at church, and we raced home got clothes and my mothers (work only) computer. We stayed there for a few months, then I had school to start up, and track banquets, and LIFE.
Thanks to BellaTrix, it turned into a 'just write stories; yay!' type of thing, I'm not saying its her fault, but I do not agree with her at all, as it was my contest, and nobody had a right to turn it into theirs. I'm sure you did wait, but the appropriate thing to do would have just kept on waiting, or gone on with your business. As you can see, if you would have taken a chance to look, is that I was very dedicated to 'TAPM' until I had to leave, I didn't start it up again as I realize that it has died.
I'm not saying that it is a bad story, or that you cannot continue, for both are accepted, and even encouraged, by me. I just don't want you to think of it as my CONTEST. You can think of it as joint-story, our story, round robin, I don't really care. It's just not TAPM, and it never will be.

I'm sorry, I was not trying to be rude. I apologize, please forgive me.
Annie: I don't see material colors when I read, but I have a color for every word, name, letter, and number in my head that I strongly associate with them. Do you see colors when you hear noises, too?

And I apologize if I came off rude. You're forgiven, and I hope I am too. :) Friends?
(October 25, 2009 - 2:22 pm)
Re: Noises/Colors, Yes, but only for some noises, ones with a specific tone, etc.
Sniffle! No one else sees material colors! I feel so alone... :) Share some of your colors with me? Like, the number four is pink and soft like rose petals (in number form or word form- no difference), Brynne is orange with yellow speckles and cushy like a pillow, and the letter T is metallic blueish-black and smooth like the dark piano keys.
Have you seen Megan around? She's missing.
(October 25, 2009 - 6:01 pm)
Never mind, I just checked the link.
(October 25, 2009 - 6:08 pm)
I'm not missing, I just don't have much time on my hands lately. Sorry about that. If I disappear for small periods of time, it's just my being unable to get to a computer.
Gloworm- I did not know about your Grandfather. I am sorry for my rude words. Is he all right? I now understand why you were gone, and I hope that everything is all right now. I still don't agree with your views, but I am willing to compromise: you don't attack us and we won't attack you. Agreed?
Annie- No, I don't associate colors with letters and such. There is a mental phenomenon (which I think is kind of cool) where the person might, persay, see blue when they smell soap, but when they see blue, they might hear bells. It's mentioned in this book called The Name of This Book is Secret by Pseudnym Botsch (I'm not sure of the spelling). If you see it at the library, it's a good read.
I seem to have totally forgotten my idea... *sigh* Oh well. On with the story?
The phonomenon you mention, Megan, is called synesthesia. Here's a definition from Wikipedia:
Synesthesia [from Ancient Greek syn (together) and aisthēsis (sensation)] is
a neurologically based phenomenon in which stimulation of one sensory
or cognitive pathway leads to automatic, involuntary experiences in a
second sensory or cognitive pathway.

Annie?

Annie? I can understand if you're really too busy to do this, as I'm really busy too, but I really want to hear it from you. I'd rather know that you are ready to stop (or just wait for break or summer or whatever) than stay in the dark and have that worry piling on top of all my other ones.
