Cloning RP!I

Chatterbox: Inkwell

Cloning RP!I

Cloning RP!

I know there are a ton of RPs at the moment, but this is such a great idea and I get the feeling that the Inkwell isn't going to become uncrowded anytime soon. So...

The basic idea is this. Our charries are outlaws because they're strange. Birth problems. It could be anything: Snake hair like Medusa, seven heads like Scylla (I'm not sure if that's how you spell it but still), or maybe an animal-human hybrid. Youjust have to have some sort of strange mutation that, when used correctly, makes your charrie powerful in some way.

All of these charries are running away from scientists. They're a private organization that figured out how to clone quickly and easily while keeping the original alive. This organization wants to track down all of our mutated charries and clone them to make an army of mutated people that will take over the world and yada, yada, yada. That old deal.

This is completely fantastical. Please don't make your charries super OP, but let your mind wander! Do anything your heart desires! Make tragic backstories! Have them been captured once before! Give your charrie five legs and three arms! I don't care! Make it cool!

So, you know the drill. The charries are all in hiding, they meet up somehow, they get in a lot of close shaves, they eventually destroy the organization. Classic stories, but fun to do.

One charrie each, please. And let's not have two hybrid owls, either. Try to make sure each charrie has unique powers, mutations, and powerful objects. Thanks!

The charrie sheet!

Name:

Age: Any age, as long as the charries are literate and can think for themselves

Appearance: Get creative!

Personality:

Backstory:

Powers if any:

Powerful objects if any: E.X. a headband that makes you fly.

Companions if any: Animal compainions, I mean.

Weapons if any:

Other:

My charrie!

Name: Hestia Fallwhite

Age: Unknown, but not older than 14 and no younger than 11.

Appearance: The key highlight: Mad-eye Moody eyeball! For you non-potterheads, it means a gigantic blue eyeball that pretty much has a life of its own. It swivels around every which way and has x-ray vision. She covers this with a blue eyepatch (that she can see through). She has long, straight black hair held back by a red headband, and her normal eye is (also) blue. She runs around barefoot and wears a black short skort (skirt with shorts attatched) and a black T-Shirt. She has a belt in which her weapons are stored.

Personality: Untrusting and silent. She doesn't talk much, and is very, very serious. She's an experienced warrior, and knows exactly what to do and when to do it, at least most of the time. She rarely laughs.

Backstory: Her eye is, surprisingly, natural. Her mother originally had the eye, not naturally, and it was just kind of "passed on". 's mother raised her as long as she could, but eventually the scientists found her and brought her away. never met her father. Instead, two elderly owls found her and took her in. At least, until recently, when a fox raided the nest and killed her foster parents. Her mother, meanwhile, was accidentally killed as she struggled. (They can't clone unless the person is alive.)

Powers if any: X-Ray vision, obviously, and she can speak to owls. Also, her skin can change color. (This doesn't do much, though, seeing as her clothes can't.) She's also a little faster, a ittle more agile, and a little stronger than the average human. Only a little though.

Powerful objects if any: An anklet. She's had it since birth. It protects her from minor injuries and she heals quickly. Also, temperature doesn't affect her. However, if she looses the anklet, she becomes seriously ill and very weak, and even the smallest change of climate affects her terribly.

Companions if any: On her travels, she met a baby owl. She deemed it Kendall, after her mother, and it follows her around. It has flight feathers but can't fly for a long time or long distances and usually rides on Hestia's shoulder.

Weapons if any: A sword, but she also can fight/throw with knives.

Other: I think I covered most of it....

Sorry I haven't posted!

Jim~

"Must-keep-running-" I panted as I crashed through the forest. I was being chased. Robots. About ten of them. Sent by my creators to reclaim me. That was never going to happen.

Just then, One of the robots came into view. It was  about six feet tall, made of solid steel, and had one three fingered hand and a gun in the place for the other. As it neared, it started to shoot. I quickly droppedd to the ground and pulled out my shotgun. I fired at it, the bullets bounced off the  thing's head. I then jumped up and charged the oncoming machine. Not the most intelligent thing to do, but anyhoo. I jumped in the air, raised my hand, and let loose a ball of fire at the bot. When I landed, there was not much left of the wretched machine.  I kept running. I could still hear pounding footsteps behind me. I finally crashed through one more wall of shrubbery to find myself on a highway. To my surprise, there was a group of...uh...mutant monster people? My day just got a lot weirder.

"Uh...hi...folks. Um, hate to crash your party, but I'm being chased by a bunch of evil robots, so you guys might want to-" Then there was a crashing sound in the woods behind me. "RUN FOR IT!!!"

Pen~

I watch the fight. What a strange group of people. Oh shoot, Pen, get out of the tree. Jumping out, I step right just as the tree falls down.

A boy, named Jim, is running his life out being chased by robots. The scientists. The robots push another tree down, and a girl screams. I am pushed by the bat girl, while the fire girl lits her hands up in fire.

Grabbing my bag and racing out of the way, I slide under a tree trunk and try to loose the others. However, I know Hestia will follow me. I'll let her speak to me. I already know what to say.

Finally reaching the road, I open the sewer gate and climb in. Darkness covers my eyes, but I remember Hestia. Jumping down, I look up and wait for her to come.

"How do you know I was here?" Hestia frowns. Shes a serious girl. I point to my mouth and grin.

"Mute?" She's smart. I nod.

"Who are you? You seem to know everything. I saw you jump out of the tree at the last minute. How could predict what to do?" She crosses her arms. I smirk again. "That's right. No speak. Can't you at least write about it?"

I write through the air 'Why would I want to?'. She sighs.

"You know a lot... Can you predict everything?" Too smart. I frown and roll my eyes.

"Can I take that as a yes?" I don't answer, climbing back up, knowing that the robots are gone. Opening it up for her, I rumage through my bag and grab a knife. Once she climbs up, I point it at her neck. Her eyes widen. I smirk.

"I wouldn't be surprised if you're insane," She mumbles. I smirk again. She grabs her own weapon but I'm already ready.

"You are crazy," she says. I roll my eyes and nod. Inching her toward the sewer, her eyes widen.

"You're too smart," she bites her lip. "Way too smart."

I push her in and streak away unseen.

I go back to back against the girl with the firey hands. I shoot ice at a robot as she chars one behind me.

"So, you have fire?" I ask calmly, watching another robot's circuit's freeze.

"Yeah," she says, "ice?"

"Ice and water."

"Ah."

Hestia~

Oh geez.

Really, I never wanted any of this to happen. I didn't want to get attacked by mutants or killer robots. I didn't want to fight a bat-girl. I didn't want to have a conversation with a mute future-seeing girl. I just wanted to stay in the forest for the rest of my life, safe and undercover.

"Good grief, Kendall," I groan to my owl, who has reappeared on my shoulder. "What am I supposed to do? Everyone out there are outnumbered. There are tons of robots coming."

"Fight, maybe?" he suggests. "Nothing else you can do withou having someone else tackle you, right?"

I sigh. "Did it really have to come to this?"

I draw my sword and race into the fray.

****

Some people are talking. What their powers are, their names, all that. I am not one of these people. I will destroy these robots, leave, and let all these mutants get along by themselves. I'm not a "team person". I work alone.

Yet another robot's cords are ripped out from its back by me as my eye swivels around. (yes, still covered by an eyepatch. Only Kendall will ever know about it. It will always be my secret.) There seems to be no end. They aren't very subtle: I could hear one coming for miles. Still, I can see what they are, and that's more helpful.

Becausethe ones coming are a lot more powerful than these.

Nightingale~

l slip into the thick of the forest, unable to fight because l'm hurt and don't have any weapons except for teeth and claws vand a sonic scream which wouldn't hurt these robots.

It's time to go. Leave them behind like everything else. They can take care of the robots themselves. Not like l care what happens to them.

l limp over to where l hide my motercycle and whistel for Darkwing. l can hear more robots crashing through the trees just in front of me.

l need to hurry.  l pull the mortercycle up, then glance upwards to see a robot, right in front of me.

l can't run. l can't fight. It's going to take me back to the lab.

I send a blast of ice at a robot before running into the fray, blasting ice as I go.

Nightingale's motorcycle blares in the distance. Traitor! I think angrily.

Suddenly the put-put of the cycle stops.

I rush into the woods, Frosty following in the trees overhead.

A droid is backing Nightingale into a tree. She looks uncharacteristically scared. I leap out of the trees and land on its head, ripping out circuit aftercircuit as Nightingale gapes.

"Come ON!" I yell, jumping off and grabbing her hand. She follows me blindly through the trees until we reach a river.

"On the count of three, jump!" I call.

"We'll DIE!" she shouts.

"ONE!" I say, grabbing her hand.

"TWO!" Robots whirr in the distance.

One comes through the trees.

"THREE!" I yell, leaping into the water and morphing into my fish-tailed form.

foxface

I whip around as I hear the ultrasonic sound.  A scream?  A girl's.  I run into the forest, leaving the people behind me.  I hear Trixie trotting behind me.  Then I burst into a new clearing.  There is a girl, and she is screaming.  I am bearing the scream yet I don't know how.  She is beening terrerized by some sort of robot.  Without thinking, I leap inot action, slicing at the robot, aiming for all its creveases.  I rip out the cord.  Smashing, yanking, pulling.  Finally i stop, panting.  I turn to look at hte girl, my hands on my knees.  The girl stares at me.  My tail.  Then gruffly, she stands up and says, "Thanks. "  I don't respond, just stare.  The girl cocks her eyebrow.  "What's wrong with you?  Don't you talk?"  I turn away.  Two comments, the same, in one night.  what is wrong with me.  "Well," huffs the girl.  "I'm Nightengale."  I don't respond, back still turned.  Silence fills the area.  Finally, I straighten up and turn around.  I hold out my hand, gruffly.  Nightengale hesitantly shakes it.  "Whats your name?" she askes.  instictivly acting, I pull fourth my Fox face.  Nightengale shricks and stumbles backwards.  returning to normal, I clutch my ears, her scream still echoing around.  "F-Foxface?" she whispers, but I am already bounding away, tearing through the leaves.  Running.  I don't hear anyone behind me, so I eventually slow down.  Panting, I collapse to the ground, a sweaty, panting, tearful heap  the forest floor.  Sobbing, I roll over to look to teh stars.  I wipe my arm across my face, sniffling.  I know the foxes will find me soon, in the stars, and my Trixie.  I need there help now more than ever.

It's kind of mean to totally disregard her post, so how about we tie the two together?

Both your charrie and Foxface help destroy the robot, then they jump off a cliff.

Azelé~

Energy and adreneline courses through me as I set rows of robots onto fire. I have encountered these robots only once before-- I was hunting a man named James who killed the sister of a friend of mine, when I saw one in a side alley, chasing after a human-looking creature with purple hair and claws.

Metal melts under the heat of my fire. I set wires afire, draw a dagger and chop at any robots I see.

Basically, all the charries met up and started fighting when bat-girl accidentally screamed, interrupted by Will's charrie, who had a bunch of robots tailing him. At the moment, they're fighting robots.
