ok, I know I already have the stuffed animal improv over in Inkwell... but here's another stuffie thread! Bc Blackfooted Bobcat has literally gotten me and my mom obsessed with Jellycats (wHy aRe tHey sO eXpEnSiVe) and it'd be cool to see who else is too/if anyone has any (I got 3 in the span of 2 months! Yay! Still can't quite believe it! And they each have stories behind them if you want to hear :) )...
bc I still feel bad for not spending as much time with all my way too many stuffies than usual (I used to sleep with a different one each night so none of them felt left out... oh, those happy (g)olden days of yorn!)...
and literally just bc. Who knows if anyone's even gonna reply to this thread. :) So. Stories about your stuffies, introducing your stuffies, pictures of stuffies in funny poses, fun facts, really anything stuffed animal/Jellycat related (I mean seriously stop looking at me like that Sea Turtle Love that's your name ok and it's final no I am not calling you "Jolene" even though that's what it says on your name tag your name I declare is Sea Turtle Love and end of conversation!)!

Favorite candies/fruits/teas/hot drinks: I like lychee cups, salty plum powder, bai tang gan(g)(??), hot almond soup, butterfly tea, and any sweet, light thing

What sort of place would you like to own?: a very cozy library

What color/object/food/ballet costume/etc are they? (like the CBers as colors thread on CaC): soft pink, fluffy soft pink soft comforter/lacy pink sleeping mask, bai tang gao, I don't know
have them design a party (their choice of subject): on the ceiling there are cutout stars and planets hanging, and on the floor there are cutout fish swimming underneath everyone's feet, and on the walls there are mountains. Or the party is in the sky and there are no decorations! Light cookies and peking duck and tea are served (I don't think peking duck is Taiwanese but hua definitely loves it :D)

What sort of transportation do they want? Like a pumpkin carriage or an armchair with wings, etc?: I don’t want any transportation; I have my two wings :)

yesss the sky dragon is so cool!!!
also it was raining really hard and my caracal and Aurora fox and Chrysanthemum and I went out in it! The street was covered in water, almost like a super shallow river, and there were huge puddles all over the grass. we got complely soaked, especially my caracal for some reason. My caracal is an older stuffie, who I named Pouncemore after a Wild Kratts caracal, but we're in the process of choosing a new name.

okay we drove out to a toy store when it was having a sale and i got this amazing chicken but there was also this amazing cow that i can't stop thinking about... the chicken's amazing though i'll post more about him later

his name is Sprinkles btw. Probably with other names eventually. I'll post a drawing or picture later :D He's a Jellycat Cluny Cockerel and he's amazing :3

Happy International Clouded Leopard Day!!!!!!! This is a message from Mellie, my clouded leopard stuffie, who is currently dancing around in joy and tossing confetti everywhere. She is also wearing her little hat I "made", which I think is very dapper and cute :D I'm still not even close to sewing a hat for Hei Bai though; I think at this point, I'm just going to fold an origami boat and color it orange and poke holes in it :P Also, for anyone who's read the Heroes of Olympus books, can you guess how Mellie got her name? :D

WAITTTT you have a clouded leopard stuffie?! So do I! His name's Kumo :D He's a Sunda clouded leopard i think (they're actually very different if i remember. i know i had reasons for what made him specifically a Sunda clouded leopard at some point). Clouded leopards have such big teeth :D I just sewed up a rip in Kumo (poor thing :( i actually have an anaesthesiology mask that i got at the hospital a long time ago because the doctor knew i liked veterinary stuff and stuffies :D) and he's all better now :3 (somehow i always forget that :3 exists but it's amazing i mean cat!! i need to use it more...)
and i feel like i should know why but can't quite remember - i've been rereading HOO but still have only reread the first book aughhh

It's a late response, but um it's a response nonetheless? Umm... to business! :D
I looked up the Cluny Cockerel and THEY'RE SO CUTE I LOVE THEM :DD also I love Jellycat's description of them!! They really are a big, soft pineapple XD And I'd love a drawing of Sprinkles if you have time, or if you want to post more about him!!
and Mellie (my clouded leopard stuffie) is named that because in HoO, Mellie is the aura/cloud nymph who helps Jason, Leo, and Piper in the first book. Clouded leopard, cloud nymph... I make a lot of esoteric references :) a lot of my stuffies are named after book characters, which is pretty cool!
Spoilers for Heroes of Olympus: And yess I used to reread HoO every year---I've reread each of the books like 7 times now---but this year I haven't been great with that. I just keep on rereading and rereading The Lost Hero (the first book) and never making it through to the Son of Neptune because I go away and forget where I left off and have to start all over again. I honestly don't really mind rereading The Lost Hero, 'cuz I love that book, but at the same time I'm kind of like noo the other books are slowly being forgotten because in past years I've been able to just flip to a random page in any of the books, read one sentence, and know exactly what's going on and what just happened and what will happen next and at least paraphrase some dialogue. And if you give me just anything that happens in the series, I can direct you to the exact book it happens in and mostly flip to that exact part by reading through random parts around it---no, it was before they went to Topeka, uh, it was after Leo wanted to camouflage the Argo II as a giant flying chicken nugget, we're getting close, it was around the time Leo complained about Spanish steps and Italian ice cream... but a few months ago, I had to comb through almost all the books to find the scene I wanted (that scene that was when they arrived at Split and Jason was going on about the history and Leo was wide-eyed and mimicking taking notes with a pencil and he said something like, "Go on Professor Grace! I want to get an A on the test!" and Jason's like "Shut up, Leo", and also Leo made a joke about Split and honestly he's just very annoying in that section and I love it 'cuz I'm annoying too :D) and that was... a new experience for me. And I really should've known it was The Last Battle instead of going to The Lost Hero first then The Mark of Athena then House of Hades because why are they in Split?? To go to Diclotian (or, y'know, how do you spell his name? Diocletian? WAIT NO WAY I just looked it up I got it somehow?!?? I mean, second try, but :DDD)'s palace! And what's the reason they decided to go there in the first place (which isn't really the staff, because that's not the reason Jason remembered it existed; the staff was just what Nico was like that's there and we should get it. Also sidenote but The Sun And The Star was so happy and that was really great to see for Nico <33)?? To meet up with Reyna because she decided to fully commit treason(?) and help the crew of the Argo II! And what's the only book with Reyna when she's definitely an ally?? The Last--- wait oh no I've been calling the fifth book The Last Battle but that's Narnia. I don't remember the fifth book's--- Blood of Olympus! :// Wow. Yeahh I really have to reread them I'm forgetting a lot plus I LOVE rereading HoO it's somehow still so fun... but right now I'm rereading Narnia, which I've also been bad about and which has been super good to me so far as I'm rereading them! Soo... :/

also I think I just threw grammar out the window in this post. Which is not typical for me because I LOVE grammar. But I'm so tired rn and I still have to finish my dinner and do my laundry and shower and practice cello---I actually love practicing cello but I never do it because I never can remember to do it :/ actually, tangent, but I know that you play violin/viola and uh I think Peregrine plays violin and I feel like Moon Wolf plays piano but I'm not sure because that just might be her AE Crescent... point is, if we do have the ability to post videos in the future, wouldn't it be so cool to all get together and play a song??---do my homework and hopefully finish it before I have Chinese school over the weekend and get EVEN MORE homework... haha I sort of want to type "man, I wish I had friends lol" here but wow that sounds sad and also I DO have lots of amazing friends, just none of them go to my school now. So that's great. I'm definitely doing fine. At least I'm getting way more sleep this year than last year and I'm being proactive this year.
getting more sleep and being proactive also means I'm pretty behind on CB stuff. I don't regret making that trade, though :) CB's also been sorta stressful lately, so I might take a break soon. Love you lizards sm (/p) though <33 you're seriously the best.

i'm glad that some things have improved from last year. It sounds like things are still stressful though, sorry :( and i totally understand if you need to take a break, but if there's anything we could do to lessen the amount that the CB is stressful let us know. for instance for Kyngdom you could give me the basic idea for what you want Win to do and I could write the longer thing. if you are ever too busy to post and can't answer something, you can just say that and not write anything else. if you have any specific things that are more stressful, i bet you could always take a break from them specifically. i could also potentially come up with more ideas if you tell me what is stressful. *optional hugs*

Thanks Bobcat <33 *accepts hugs gratefully* I think I'm actually fine right now because we have a long weekend and I finished most of my homework today, so I have two days to catch up on CB stuff now! I guess I just sorta feel stressed because everyone is always so amazing here and has such fascinating/hilarious/awesome things to say, and I want to reply to every piece of art and every poem and every comment that's ever been posted here, and that's sorta hard lol but I try to do it anyway because it's true and---at least in my experience---it's worth so much when someone takes the time to express that truth to you. But then I definitely don't succeed in my goal of commenting on everyone's posts and I end up spending hours on a screen and I don't do what I'm supposed to be doing and suddenly all my assignments are due the next day and I haven't read any of the books that I've been wanting to read and I'm like ahh haha. So I've been trying to do all that first before coming onto the CB but then I have so much to catch up on on here when I finally "finish" my responsibilities and it takes me like an hour to make a single post half of the time because haha you've seen my posts they're long and I'm horrible at shortening things so there goes the whole rest of my day and I've only done one or two of the things I wanted to finish on here and I'm like ahh all over again. And I commit to a lot of things on here and in real life because everything's SO COOL and I'm growing up so quickly and soon I won't have time for all this stuff anymore so I should take advantage of everything while I can and all these things are things that I really do find joy in doing... haha, but then I start having lists like this every day:
What I still need to do today:
- practice cello
- fold laundry
- eat dinner
- memorize dance routine because I missed the meeting because I had to go to a club thing
- club things (I'm a club president now :D)
- self-care psa for scouts
- hopefully finish reading at least one of the 23 books I'm currently reading o_O
- study for science test
- study for Chinese test
- do Chinese school homework
plus:
- get a healthy amount of sleep
- spend quality time with family
- spend quality time with self
- respond to all my friends about our ongoing philosophy conversation :P
- sort out Feelings
- other stuff I'm forgetting right now
in other news, my school is in Jellycat fever! Yay! They bought some jellycats to give out as prizes!! :D also, Gian Furlough Acorn Harlowe's birthday is rapidly approaching!! As is Mer's, now that I think of it... ooh I should make Gian Furlough Acorn Harlowe a tutu or something that'd be so fun!! Especially since I got vim as a dance concert flower-thingy (so ve also goes to all my dance concerts now XD)! And I still have to make a little pumpkin hat for Hei Bai... wait Celine you don't have time for all that remember?? Oh yeah :/ okay wow yeah this is what I do XD. Ain't that just the way, as Greg from over the garden wall says ack that's right I told my parents I was going to watch over the garden wall now...
...I don't even remember what point I was making before this. Well, bye! I have to go eat dinner now~. Thank you!!! :DDD

woah, your school gives out Jellycats as prizes? that's amazing! you definitely don't have to reply to everything, but i actually know what you mean. idk, just remember to take breaks from anything as necessary so you don't get burned out or anything :) and always let us know if you need anything ofc.
