lizards my new stuffie just came in the mail!!! they're an ADORABLE Aurora Talltales Fox. I adore them!! they were on a really good sale and limited quantities so i couldn't resist heh and i DO NOT regret it. i don't know much about them yet but they're amazing and I adore them

also i said i'd post about Cloudinia at some point - i'll do that soon. I think their full name is Lemondrop Cloudinia now. Or maybe Cloudinia Lemondrop. we'll see.

What books do you like?: she says books with big words and lots of pictures :)

Any books you dislike?: she says she doesn't really have anything against them, she just doesn't read them :) :) but basically any books that are not (see above)

Favorite season(s)?: Spring, Summer, fall?... yeah, Fall!

Favorite season fairy in Cinderella: she says Spring or Summer! (she has no idea what this means XD but she's envisioning her own season fairies so she says Spring or Summer, probably Summer though?)

Favorite ballet: Sleeping Beauty! (only one she's watched)

What sort of role would you like to be in a ballet?: she says those ballet dancers that go up on tippy-toe and stretch their arms above their heads :)

How 'bout a play?: she says the rescued knight :) although actually, she did do improv once, and she played the role of the eViL wItCh, which was honestly such a great role for her...

What do you own?: she says she owns some seashells and okay basically she collects everything (okay she says not "everything", she says "lots of things") and... wow, she's sorta like me, but... different...

Favorite possessions?: maybe like an old dress her grandma gave her that's in her attic (wait Izzy you have a grandma?? Wait and an attic??)

Super specific things she likes: adventure, the woods out back, going off topic but I think she's my stuffies who's won the most hearts of all my other stuffies haha, she's one of the most loving things and she's also probably my stuffie that's changed the most because first I got her by catching a glimpse of the only tiger in a sea of lions/leopards/big cats -- that was crazy in itself, because I almost didn't, because the fur patterns weren't that easy to distinguish, but now I look at her and she's so distinguishable, anyways so I tried carrying her in my hoodie wrapped around my waist but she fell out a few times I think so that did not work out... I just realized, she was already pretty much her adventurous self then haha :) and then she used to live with Snow, her mother (who coincidentally was my mom's stuffed tiger; she isn't actually Izzy's mother, but she took care of her even though Snow's only a little older than Izzy is (think of Izzy as like a little kid and Snow as like an older teenager)... I sometimes think of Snow as more like Izzy's older sister in terms of age and how they interact, but yeah Snow's Izzy's mom in the other sense :) ), and was bright and adventurous but couldn't leave Snow's side for long, like seriously I forgot she used to be like that 'cuz she hasn't been like that for so long but wow yeah she used to hide her head in her mom's fur hehee she's so grown up now! And then when she was ready (I was taking her out occasionally to get her used to being more independent, but I think she got pretty used to being independent, so), she went to go live with Trisha and Draggy and Hei Bai, who were awesome to her... wait she might've gone to live with Gemma (my German Shepherd who I also lost :( I threw her at my brother and my brother kidnapped her (and Izzy) and forgot where he put her (luckily I found Izzy though...) :/// miss her too, even though I honestly haven't thought about her for some time (Gemma's genderfluid btw :) )) and Libby and Pixie and Poppy and Boo before that... anyways but now she's on top of my bed with Porgy, Tweetie, and Indie :)

Favorite holiday/opinion on holidays: she loves holidays because they're basically social gatherings in her mind; she likes Christmas because presents 

Favorite candies/fruits/teas/hot drinks: she likes fruits and tea and fruit tea and chocolate and chocolate drinks :D not really candy as much, surprisingly...

from my favorite pho place: she would maybe order pho but she would mostly order beansprouts and just eat those :D and maybe also the spring rolls. And now I want to eat from there. Hm maybe I can ask my mom... :D

What sort of place would you like to own?: she would like to own any sort of place, she says maybe places where if she owns then she can be social (like a store? Yeah. Or she says an amusement park.)

Sleep habits: her sleep habits would probably be horrible however she has a set bedtime (I honestly don't know whether she actually meets it or sneaks out to explore at night...)

What color/object/food/ballet costume/etc are they? (like the CBers as colors thread on CaC): she's bright orange and always moving but not bright orange as in the color but bright orange as in the vibe because that totally makes sense... :D 

have them design a party (their choice of subject): she'll design it based on hiking/stargazing/camping so the ceiling's dark blue splattered with tiny white dots and that's the starry sky -- Izzy couldn't you just have it at night with the actual starry sky?? Oh wait that's past her bedtime XD. So yeah and there's a chandelier (why?? Starry skies don't have chandeliers in the middle of them? (but imagine if they did that'd be sorta cool but also like what.) She says it's for people to hang from the chandelier like in the movies. :/ (XD)) and there're trees and lots and lots of snacks but the snacks are those cookies with the circle of jam(?) in the middle oh my wait those are so good I forgot those existed!! and all the snacks are on this long rectangular table with a white tablecloth on the side and it's held in one room that's really not that big but feels big 'cuz it's made to feel like the outdoors :)

what kind of magic do they want (like necromancy, elemental fire magic, potion making, etc): she wants ALL OF THEM!!! :DD 

write down what happens on a normal day in their world, or what happened today: well, today she woke up and watched the sunrise (WHAT- wait actually???? :000 I tried to wake up to watch the sunrise today but I just spent an hour staring at the gray/blue sky before realizing I was staring through the West-facing window ://///), which is apparently something she does every day (... ://), and then I sat her down for this interview (wow it's 7:30 already I started at like 6:20!)

Favorite and least favorite meals: I feel like she would love mac and cheese but she says it's okay. She loves eating, but she doesn't like soup (mostly) or salad or stuff, which is interesting (for me at least). She does like steak though. :// which I should've guessed. Because tigers are carnivores. BUT SHE DOESN'T FEEL LIKE A CARNIVORE!!! 

XD no but seriously wow was actually not expecting that...

What certain flavors do they like?: she doesn't like strawberry, vanilla, pinecone is okay, she likes chocolate, she doesn't like any artificial flavors that are natural flavors but taste artificial but she's okay if it's like ice cream or whatever that's supposed to taste like an artificial flavor and does taste like that flavor -- she LOVES ice cream btw

What sort of chairs do they either have in their house or want to have? Basically design them a chair: okay this is like my family's dream question XD. Don't ask. :D well, she basically has the chairs that I do, she has the one at my desk which is AWESOME it may be my favorite chair ever it's spinny and bendy and is the best, ooh she also has Navy chairs because those are sorta the only chairs I know the name of XD I don't know the names of the other chairs just how to describe them... anyways. But besides the chair at my desk she doesn't really care that much too much about chairs... um. I mean she doesn't really care about owning/sitting in chairs, but she LOVES chairs!!!! Ig that works for the very specific interest question!

If they were a different kind of stuffie, what kind of stuffie would they be?: ooh, interesting question... she'd be a... a sheep, maybe?? But she'd always still have the same-textured fur (her fur's really distinctive to me it feels sorta grainy and it's really short and just rough but on a whole it's sorta soft but not like really soft just soft enough while being rough and it really fits her) and the same eyes <3

What books would they pick up at the library? What section do they head to first?: she'd pick up the picture books with big blue skies and nature and stuff in them and she'd head to the kid section first :D

What would they do if their house (or garden, library, etc) was haunted?: she would try to catch the ghosts :D although I don't think she's thought ahead to what she would do if she caught them... maybe she would try to play with them?

What sort of transportation do they want? Like a pumpkin carriage or an armchair with wings, etc?: she thinks a pumpkin carriage sounds REALLY cool and yes please to that! Besides that, she'd rather scramble through the woods and over the rocks and through the streams on her own four feet :)

What flowers do they like?: ooh, she likes roses and stuff... maybe dandelions, when they're yellow, (though she does like blowing on the dandelions when they're white because then she gets to chase them!) and also hydrangeas! 

What quotes fit them, or they like?: maybe some quote about being you? Yeah, I think some quote like that would fit her best (but not one of those quotes that are like, "be you, everyone else is already taken", because she's like, that's not the reason you should be you, you should be you because you're you and that's wonderful and crazy and delightful and NOT because everyone else is already taken or an original's worth more than a copy or whatever), but she does also like that quote from Marilyn Monroe that's something like, "Madness is genius, imperfection is beauty, and it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring" :

This is Sonya! She's a Bellzi bat who was originally called Batti, and she sleeps in an empty oatmeal container that I lined with fabric to look like a hollow log. (She came in the oatmeal container, on Christmas morning, and it fits her perfectly so I just kept it) She goes to sleep at 7 A.M. every day, and wakes up at 5 P.M. (which means she usually comes out at 6 or 7 P.M. to eat dinner). Her wings are flexible and actually move, which is extremely cool!

Specific thing toffee likes: Apperently toffee likes acorn caps, which was one of the examples. Apparently toff collects them? I didn't know that either -

A thing cae likes: cae really likes candles and bottled essences, which are essences of things and come with their own smells. Cae has a very good memory for smells

What kind of magic does cae want: Cae wants to be able to teleport or make portals. Probably portals - cool ones that look like mirrors with smoky edges

If cey was a different kind of stuffie what kind would cey be: Marsh considers mallowself firmly a cheetah. 

The latest installment to my (admittedly too large) squishmallow collection: Ezmerelda (with a z!) the... watermelon cactus octopus? Idrk what she's supposed to be, but she's adorable~

Interview with Trinket Cookie-Crumbs:

Me: Welcome Trinket! We have questions for you, and everyone is dying to know. Do be warned you can't go back to edit answers [because i'm writing it in fountain pen XD]. let's begin! what's your favorite pastime or hobby?

Trinket: Oh, I like searching around the woods. [i look for] cool items, forageable plants, neat things like bark. Anything. Oh, and dead bugs. I have a lot of those.

Me: What's the best thing you've found recently?

Trinket: There was this rust - well, more corroded than rust - fountain pen nib. It was some sort of metal and had moss growing on it. It's very cool.

[note: I believe Trinket may have given this to Jaybells, but it's virtually so we'll say there are multiple copies]

Me: When did you find that?

Trinket: oh, maybe a month ago? I'm not sure.

Me: What else have you done recently?

Trinket: Oh, um. Every day is blending together now... i gathered some wildflowers to put in a vase. oh, and i made some of those burning essences [which are mixes of things that you burn in the fire to give it a magical effect] for my fire. I still have a fireplace, and [the essences] just make it so the smoke is clean. You can do other things too, with those essences - one of the flower mixes makes daisy-shaped smoke puffs.

Me: How do you use/activate them?

Trinket: You just have to throw them in the fireplace. Any fire should work.

Me: What's your favorite season? Why?

Trinket: Probably fall. Lots of dying plants to bring indoors. 

Me: Favorite color or color shcheme?

Trinket: No real preference.

Me: Oh, come on. Just a little preference?

Trinket: I guess I like muddier colors. Olive green over emerald. Not, of course, that I don't adore emerald. I'm more likely to wear muddier colors, at least.

Me: Favorite flower?

Trinket: Dandelions. They get in every nook and cranny everywhere, and they're useful anyway.

Me: Favorite ballet?

Trinket: Swan Lake.

Me: Really? I thought you would like Cinderella more.

Trinket: Cinderella is definitely up there. Quite possibly tied. But they [the characters] don't die [at the end].

Me: Do you like to travel or stay at home?

Trinket: Oh, I'll stay at home. There's quite enough change, with the seasons and all. I like simple things, and where I live is one of them.

Me: I'm sensing you're bored. Should we stop for now? 

Trinket: that would be lovely. That was perfectly mind-numbing.

Me: Well, [if your mind is numb] perhaps then you won't have complaints about humanity for a bit. Farewell.

Trinket: Farewell. But I know we both want to point out the obvious: what humanity? we're all stuffies, and you're certainly not human.

Me: Thanks for saying that Trinket, it bothered me too. Now we can end without having that hanging over us XD
