So here i was, trying (and failing) to DM yet another D&D session because my players can't take a single thing seriously EVER. And I do mean ever. There was a cool Tabaxi NPC named Bag of Nails, and the instant he introduced himself, the conversation turned into THIS:
Me: So he drops his weapons and surrenders, and then says, ". . .My name is Bag of Nails, and I-"
B- HAHAHAHA BAG OF NAILS?!
M- What's his brother named, Sack of Screws?
(they were all laughing hysterically by this point)
E- What kind of a name is BAG OF NAILS??
M- What about Pouch of Bolts?
Me: ARE YOU DONE YET?!!???
B- One more, one more. What about Pack of Lugnuts?
I had slapped my forehead so many times during this conversation XD
I suppose that's what I get for ever trying to roleplay a serious character. *Eye Roll*
