I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Any random thought you have, any random thing that happens to you, any random question that pops into your mind. Have fun, and don’t be afraid to be random.

wow lol hi!! I'm pretty good, spent a literal hour (6:46-7:46PM) doing frantic choreo to Te Regalo so I'm still a bit hyper from all that... so worth it though!! also I somehow spent a whole day with just both my crush AND my squish like idk what's happening just the three of us basically umm but it was awesome as always and then after that I hung out with some of my bestest friends ever and yeah it's been great actually :D how about you? I think you're homeschooled? Though I think you won't be soon?? Do homeschoolers have summer break (assuming yes but I've actually never really thought about it)?

Oh and also thank you so much because for the first time ever it's so easy to smile when I'm dancing!!!!! Usually my parents are like, are you having fun on stage?? 'cuz my face is always dead serious, and I am having fun just horrible at showing it, but this time I found myself smiling without trying and like wow thank youuu

I know that your comment's theoretically for Poinsettia, but how can I possibly not fangirl about Te Regalo-- I'm so glad you tried and liked it!! It's absolutely a song that you have to move to and listen to at FULL VOLUME and listen to over and over and over again and that you wish would go on forever. The lyrics are also really nice - I could translate a few of them for you if you'd like :) - and Carlos Baute has a few other wonderful songs, so we can always give you some more recs if you want them :) I think Te Regalo is his absolute best, though, and it's one of my favorite songs eVeR.

hee, yess!! And I'd love some more recommendations please!! I actually looked up translations of the lyrics because when I choreograph I like to keep lyrics in mind, so I think it's fine, but thank you for offering (also I got my dad to double check some of it 'cuz he's sorta a Spanish nerd and loves the language and he's also why I'm taking Spanish next year which I'm so excited for!!!)!!

All right, I'd really recommend
~"Me faltas tu", which is basically like Te Regalo
~"Amarte bien"
~"Colgando en tus manos", especially the version with Marta Sanchez
~"Loquitos de amor" - just discovered it today and it's vERY good
~"Quien te quiere como yo", which is simply a classic
And I'm always looking frantically for more good ones :)) I hope you enjoy learning Spanish! It's fun to speak, and it enables you to understand lyrics of Latin pop, which is a plus ofc :)
Oh, and also, you choreograph? And dance onstage?? That's amazing :) (yes I know I'm using too many smiley faces)

YAYYYY I'm so happy that you liked it!! It's one of my favorite songs ever, and lol I've done the exact same thing as you: I sometimes start dancing around to it and feeling really happy :) It's just such a great song! Oh, and I'm glad you had such a nice day! And yes, I'm homeschooled, though next year I plan to switch back to Conventional Education. Homeschoolers usually get summer break, as far as I know; mine starts in June, and right now I'm racing to try and get everything finished as soon as possible because I'm a bit behind oh noooo~
but anyway, yessss Te Regalo is so good and I'm so glad you liked it :)))))

So I was at the first rehearsal of a play/music review that I'm in last night. And when I introduced myself, I said that I'm Genderfluid and my pronouns change. And one of the older men, who's in it with his husband, said "that's cool!". But what I didn't expect, was his husband to come over to be and ask me more about my PRONOUNS! He came over and asked "HOW often do your pronouns change? What would you like to be called?". And I of course told him that my parents don't know.
But that made me really, really happy!

I just have to make it through the SAT tomorrow and then I only have a few more finals and projects to get in and then I'll be free for the summer! So hopefully I can post more regularly on here soon. And also maybe write another ski lodge....
