Random Thoughts/Things?
I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Any random thought you have, any random thing that happens to you, any random question that pops into your mind. Have fun, and don’t be afraid to be random.

Hi! You probably don't remember me. I'm Darkvine, the Wings of Fire fanatic.

ooh i think i might? either way nice to meet you again! moonbli or winterwatcher? (*laughs evilly at the chaos this will create*)

In my opinion, the three of them should all get together in one glorious polyamourous relationship. It's simply the most efficient solution.
(September 11, 2022 - 2:04 pm)
true!! very efficient :D i didn't include quinter in my first comment and now realize my mistake. i think polyamory is probably the best option here, but if i had to choose two it would definitely be moonbli :)

OR Qinter?

Hiya! You very likely also don't remember me. I'm Rainbow, another enthusiastic Wings of Fire Fanwing.

i think i remember you too!! it's nice to see you :) favorite character in the third arc?
(September 11, 2022 - 12:34 pm)
Oooooooooh, I love Sundew, too! Too hard to choose a favorite in the third arc. My favorite character in all of WoF is Kinkajou (seriously, who can hate her?). My favorite ship, though, is Sunwillow/Sunlow/Wildew. LOVE them. My least favorite character who has a book is honestly Winter (no offense to anyone who likes him).

DOLPHINNNNN!!!! Hi! I remember you! (and I'm using too many exclamation marks XD) I actually was just like "hey, I miss Dolphin" a few days ago, which is quite coincidential.
Um, what's changed? We have a lot of new great CBers, but unfortunately many of the old ones have left :( Still, I think you'll find the newer "generation" quite awesome should you choose to stay :D
Anyway, welcome back and I hope you stay around at least a little :D

Annotating is evil and should not exist.
(September 10, 2022 - 9:13 pm)
I dunno, I find it weirdly satisfying...
though I will admit, an annotated passage is MUCH more difficult to read than a plain one xD
(September 10, 2022 - 9:37 pm)
I really like annotating :[
(September 10, 2022 - 9:39 pm)
*dramatically clutches chest* Annotations are a thing of beauty!
(September 11, 2022 - 10:53 am)
I can see both sides...
On one hand, it's annoying when you're forced to annotate stuff that you just don't really have a feel for yet, or are give specific graded things you have to annotate "correctly," and it just completely breaks your focus and turns frustrating sometimes. Especially when you're not used to it, it can be really annoying. I definitely had my fair share of moments despising the annotating process, especially earlier on in my schooling career.
At the same time, I am enamoured with the look of a fully annotated page/passage, and it feels nice to have bits of ideas and connections you have upon reading at one point, so you can look back on it later and compare or be amused by your previous thoughts and stuff. It's kinda cool to take a snapshot of that specific corner of your brain in the moment you were reading something, demonstrated in your annotations at the time! Plus, sometimes I have thoughts on what I'm reading, but I really don't want to say them out loud, or it would need too much context to scrawl down in my miscellaneous folder, so making notes in the margins is pretty ideal for me.
