Random Thoughts/Things?

Random Thoughts/Things?

I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Any random thought you have, any random thing that happens to you, any random question that pops into your mind. Have fun, and don’t be afraid to be random.

Okay, so I just had a really weird moment a second ago where I got into chatterbox and I saw my own name and I was like, 'Who is that? Jay...bells?' and I was like 'Oh. that's me...'

I legit felt so disassociated... Such a strange feeling.

We had to play rock-paper-scissors shoot today in math class today for recording data with a partner. I sit next to my best friend so we got to work together, and, yes, we failed in counting to 30 (we both have a averages so that was embarassing...), but the statistics were really interesting:

E winning: 6/25 (24%)

Me winning: 8/25 (32%)

Tie (this is the interesting one): 11/25 (44%) - Thats more than a 11 percent increase than what was predicted

Oh yeah, and...

Ties w/ Scissors: 6/25 (24%) - So the amount of times we tied with scissors was equal to the amount of time E won. Isn't that weird? What do the statistics say about us? I don't know why, I just found this project interesting...

Wow. I just spent 15-ish minutes doing that?

Okay, here's what I was doing. So ya know how when ya double click the "Submitted by" button the order in the threads made comes up? So, I went to the end (the most recent stuff) to see if there were any threads needing topping ('cause they only have 1 comment and there's that glitch [here's an idea that's most likely very wrong: what if it's not a glitch?]). Oh, yeah. I was in DtE. Then I decided, hey, why not go through this submitted by stuff to find this thread? So I did. For some reason, I thought it was created in 2016? So I went until around mid-2017, then thought "Oh, why not go check what is the actual date this was created?" So I saw it was 2019. I skipped ahead two years. Then I found it. Yay for wasting time!! :D

Inkling, do you want to do to a picnic in DC? I'm sorry, I don't live in Washington DC. Or maybe you want a picture in DC. In any case, we are not going on a trip to DC any time soon, I think. Sorry.

Did anybody notice that a certain thread disappeared? @Admins, why is that?

We investigated the subject of the thread you are missing. The thread was deleted because we generally don't post comments that may lead to other sites over which we have no control.

Ah! Greetings to all you pumpkins. Or shall I say wildflowers, due to the coming season? Admins, where do I go to submit a book review on Cricket's website?

You can submit reviews to Cricket Readers Recommend at: cricketmagkids.com/books

Or you can put it on Blab About Books on Chatterbox.

I don't understand mathhhhhh ughhhhh I got a D on the last math test and I need to bump my grade up but I can't because my math teacher DOESNT TEACH US ANYTHING. :(((((((

Someone very recently posted some math help tips. I think suggestions including asking your teacher for special help and looking for help online. Many teachers made videos for remote learning. Try searching the name/publisher/author of your math book and lesson or chapter number. I hope this helps.

Yeah, I posted a couple suggestions back on the confession thread, but the admins did a bit of a better job explaining it than me.

Oof:'(

My school's 7th grade has I think four math teachers?  Mr.'s  Z, S, G and M.  I have Mr. G and he's fine and gives us Jolly Ranchers but my friends, who have Mr. M, say he's horrible and literally doesn't teach at all, just give the papers and is like "hahahahah figure it out"

Yep that's literally my math teacher. We had a test, and there was a question she hadn't even taught us and she told us before the test "I didnt teach you this haha so figure it out" And tysm Peri for the advice! You too Admins! Speaking of math class, yep, you guessed it, that's where I am rn.

So...

I cut my hair by myself while at my father's. It was 4 in the morning. It is now a full 30-40 centimetres shorter, despite my original intentions. Will I be able to explain this to my mother? Probably not.

I may not be much longer for this world. Sayunara, all. :')
